Homan: ‘Small Force’ to Remain in Minnesota After Ending ICE Surge

“…there will be a small force, a security force, what we call RFQs, that will be our security forces, that will respond to when our agents are out.”

Border Czar Tom Homan confirmed that the Trump administration will keep a “small force” in Minnesota after ending the ICE surge.

Homan told Ed O’Keefe on Face the Nation:

Well, look about as of, we already removed well over 1000 people, and as of Monday, Tuesday, we’ll remove several hundred more.

We’ll get back to the original footprint, with the exception of the agents there to do the fraud investigation. They’ll stay there and continue their work until they’re done. The agents investigating the church issue, where the people went into the church, they’ll stay and get that work done.

But there will be, there will be a small force, a security force, what we call RFQs, that will be our security forces, that will respond to when our agents are out. And if it gets surrounded by agitators and things get out of control, and they’ll remain for a short period of time, just to make sure the coordination, the agreements we have with local state law enforcement, stay in place and they respond to a public safety threat when needed.

And so hopefully those security forces, security that small footprint security forces can remove, can be removed really fairly quickly. I’m hoping. I think things are going the right direction, and I got faith they’ll continue that way.

President Donald Trump sent Homan to Minnesota on January 26 after two shootings ended in the fatalities of Minnesota civilians.

Homan announced an end to the surge last Wednesday, only two weeks after his arrival.

Homan accomplished more in two weeks than DHS Secretary Kristi Noem did in months. No drama. No theatrics.

O’Keefe asked about the ICE masks, which Homan said he doesn’t like either.

But Homan reminded the threats these agents face every day:

Well, I’m not a part of those negotiations as being done up on the Hill between Senate and House and the White House. I’m not really part of those negotiations.

But look, you know, they want to say, “Stop racial profiling.” That’s just not occurring. I mean, ICE will detain, briefly detain, and question, but question somebody based on reasonable suspicion has nothing to do with racial profiling.

As far as a mask. Look, you know, I don’t like the masks either, but because threats against ICE officers, you know, are up over 15,100%, actual assaults and threats are up over 8,000%, these men and women have to protect themselves.

As far as identifying themselves, they all have placards identifying themselves as ICE, HSI, DEA, FBI, so they all have placards on them. So I’ll let the White House and members of Congress, you know, fight that out.

But I think some of the asks are just, I think they’re unreasonable, because there is no racial profiling. There are identifying marks, but masks, you know, why don’t they talk about maybe passing legislation to make it illegal to dox agents or something like that, but well, the masks right now are for officer safety reasons.

Loony Left: “ICE is racially profiling!!!!”
Also Loony Left: “MAGA should hate ICE because they arrested an Irish drug dealer!”

Homan has done a terrific job under incredibly difficult circumstances. His forces have been attacked; the governor and Lt. Governor have made specific “requests” of the rioters (not peaceful protestors) to do anything to stop the LAW from being enforced.

If you noticed, while the Somali crowd stole literally billions from Minnesotan and other taxpayers, they were not very visible among the rioters if they were there at all. Of course the Somalis, including Ilhan have other issues but….

The leftist/communist/fascist/socialist college “educated” media is so in the tank for the left – the tank may be getting full. Disgusting. Mpls could have been settled had the Mpls and St. Paul mayors plus the governor set the stage to work together.

So, now do the Somalian frauds.

Not his wheelhouse but, Mr Homan seems to excel at anything he’s given and we need some wins here

Yeah, on that, some bad news:

This FBI Security Specialist — five years on the job — didn’t blame Kash Patel. He didn’t blame politics. He explained how the system itself is designed to kill accountability:

Financial fraud cases take “literal years” to build. Every transaction. Every account. Every payment. By the time the case is ready for court, the administration changes, judges toss it, and the whole thing evaporates. Maybe they find one fall guy. Everyone else walks away with your money.

It doesn’t matter who’s in charge. The bureaucracy runs out the clock on purpose.

And here’s the part that should scare you: this is not a one-off confession.

This is the 7th FBI or DOJ official we’ve caught on hidden camera admitting the same thing. Seven separate insiders. Seven times they’ve told us — when they didn’t think anyone was recording — that the system protects the guilty.

As far as identifying themselves, they all have placards identifying themselves as ICE, HSI, DEA, FBI, so they all have placards on them.

This is an important point, that the Dems (in and out of the news industry) are vigorously denying. They’re all making out as if masked agents can’t be distinguished from criminals. But they’re all identified as members of their agency; the only thing concealed is the individual agent’s identity, and why does anyone need to know that?
