U.S. Tells Citizens to ‘Leave Iran Now’ as 15,000 Protesters Feared Killed in Regime Crackdown

The Khamenei regime organizing ‘mass funerals,’ handing out death sentences in ‘fast-track’ trials.

With the Iranian regime conducting one of the deadliest crackdowns in recent decades despite repeated warnings by President Donald Trump, the U.S. and several Western countries have advised their citizens to leave the country immediately.

The advisory comes amid reports that the U.S. was pulling out hundreds of troops from bases in the region, including the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest American military installation in the Middle East. “The Pentagon has begun withdrawing some U.S. troops and assets from a key base in Qatar as a precautionary measure while President Trump weighs whether to take military action against Iran, officials said,” The Washington Post reported.

The British broadcaster Sky News saw this as “a signal the US is readying a strike – or giving itself the option to do so.” Tehran recently threatened to attack Israel, U.S. military bases, and American-owned commercial shipping in the region if President Trump orders a strike on regime targets.

NBC News reported:

The United States has started evacuating hundreds of troops from its largest air base in the Middle East ahead of potential military action by President Donald Trump against Iran, according to a U.S. official and a person familiar with the matter.

The troops at al-Udeid Air Base are moving to other facilities and hotels in the region, taking them out of harm’s way should any U.S. attack trigger retaliation from Tehran against American interests, the sources said. (…)

Troops were removed from al-Udeid in June for the Pentagon’s mission against nuclear enrichment sites in Iran, an operation the U.S. dubbed “Midnight Hammer,” which saw Iran launch retaliatory missiles at the base.

After seventeen days of protests, the regime forces, backed by terrorist group Hezbollah and other foreign fighters, may have massacred more than fifteen thousand people, France-based TV channel Euronews reported:

At least 15,000 people may have died in ongoing protests as authorities use detection equipment to locate Starlink satellite devices and prevent news from reaching the outside world, an Iranian activist told Euronews on Tuesday.

Ilya Hashemi, speaking in a video for Euronews Parsi, said internet access in Iran has been completely cut off for over 112 hours, with all available information coming from people who managed to connect via Starlink.

“The situation currently unfolding in Iran is a widespread killing and a disaster,” Hashemi said. “Estimates suggest at least more than 15,000 dead.”

According to the UK-based opposition news website, Iran International, “At least 12,000 people were killed over two nights on January 8 and 9 during protests.”

Despite a near-total internet and phone blackout, images and videos coming from Iran show morgues and hospital grounds overflowing with body bags as desperate relatives search for their missing loved ones.

As the death toll surges, the Khamenei regime is reportedly organizing ‘mass funerals’ of protesters killed by its forces. “According to Iranian state TV, a mass funeral will be held in Tehran today,” Sky News (UK) reported Wednesday. “It is expected to take place at Tehran University under heavy security.”

In a bid to terrorize the population, the regime was staging ‘fast-track’ trials aimed at publicly executing some of the protesters. “Iran’s judiciary chief on Wednesday called for fast-track trials for detained protesters, despite US President Donald Trump’s threat of “very strong action” if the Islamic [R]epublic goes ahead with executions,” France24 TV channel reported.

From sporadic marches against rising food prices in Tehran, within a span of a few weeks, these protests have turned into a full-blown uprising against the regime after 47 years of tyrannical rule. The BBC noted that the revolt has “spread to 180 cities and towns in all 31 provinces,” describing it as “one of the  most serious challenges to the clerical establishment since the 1979 Islamic revolution.”

send in the military to get them out…

The Mullahs know that harsh repression works and it probably will here too. Citizens can be killed faster that help can arrive if it is even help at all.

Any one know when all the Iranian genocide protests will kick off? Anyone?

Why are they there at all?

Also, unleash the Jews to go after the mullahs without barriers! Let them lose! And then back them up by levelling everything else the moolahs cherish!

I wonder if Saudi Arabia is what’s staying our hand. I think that’s the non-Israel relationship Trump is most concerned about preserving in the ME.

The two nations resumed trade in 2023. Saudis seem to like keeping the Mullahs for some reason, maybe they like the deals they are getting.

There’s also the Turkey angle. Not sure if we care about them, but it’s a factor.

They are Iran’s biggest trading partner in the local region I believe.

    UAE is also big.

1) We should have started getting US citizens out a lot sooner than this.
2) Even so, any observant Americans still there are perhaps examples of Darwin in action.

There should not be any US citizens in Iran. We’ve effectively been at war with them since Carter. Anyone there is responsible for themselves. We shouldn’t risk soldiers to get them out, I’m tired of stuff like this happening. This isn’t the first time someone decides to go to unfriendly country and then wants us to bail their ass out, They need to take some responsibility for their own predicament.

There are a load of dual citizens who go back and forth between the two countries in Iran. They probably need to be getting out while goings good!

I agree. US should not be responsible though. We shouldn’t necessary banning anyone from going anywhere but we should not be responsible if they go and get themselves taken hostage or even just trapped

Time to parachute BHO, JFKerry and James Taylor into Iran to show they’ve got a friend or three. For Gov. Walz… how’s that religion of peace doing?

Iran government threatening to assassinate trump now? They just gave trump the green light to strike iran.

I’m a little disappointed with Israel on this one. They can plant a bomb to blow up someone in Iran in a bedroom that has been checked and rechecked, BUT they could not train up and arm enough expats to infil and perform a regime change?

I guess after pager-palooza, I had deemed them the most bad ass mo fu-s on sneaky precision death (usually with plausible deniability) on the planet.

If these figure are accurate this is an actual genocide and not a fake one like in “Palestine”. It is somewhat surprising the EUtopinan media is reporting this.

But it’s not surprising the American Communist media is ignoring this and instead obsessed with trying to jumpstart a “hot” civil war in the US.

I am of the belief that just about every single American corporate journalist deserves to dance Danny Deever. You can count the number of non-genocidal maniacs in the media with one hand and have fingers left over.

Any American with an ounce of brains should have bugged out of Iran months ago. Darwin Award announcement to follow in 3…2…1…
