Colorado Congresswoman Says Democrats are Planning to Impeach Trump Again
“I will continue to fight back against the cruelty and lawlessness of this Administration”
Rep. Brittany Pettersen (D-CO), recently claimed that Democrats are currently ‘building a case’ to impeach Trump again if and when they retake power. She was on a phone call with supporters when she said this, and you can hear the audio below.
She specifically references Democrats on the House Oversight Committee regarding this effort.
Breitbart News reported:
According to Pettersen’s office, nearly 8,000 Coloradans were on the call, which featured the congresswoman talking about the need to fight against the Trump administration on issues like immigration enforcement.
“As Trump escalates attacks on Colorado and unlawfully withholds critical funding, sends ICE into our state to terrorize communities, and threatens our NATO allies abroad — I want people to know that we are here to support them in every way we can and they are not alone,” she said during the townhall. “I will continue to fight back against the cruelty and lawlessness of this Administration and also work to find common ground with my colleagues where I can. It is going to be a very tough road ahead but we are going to get through it together.”
When taking questions, one constituent asked if Pettersen would vote to impeach President Donald Trump…
While acknowledging that “it is highly unlikely” that there will be a successful impeachment of Trump, she continued on to say, “But we are building our case.”
She added that Democrats on the House Oversight Committee are “working on making sure that they’re building up their ability,” so that they can figure out what “we can do to ultimately move forward to impeach Trump.

Democrats on the House Homeland Security Committee said they will begin their own investigation into Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, a process they say could well lead to her impeachment.
Gathered next to a photo of Renee Good, the Democrats said her death at the hands of an immigration officer highlights the need for accountability for Noem, who they argue has encouraged agents to act with impunity.
Rep. Bennie Thompson (Miss.), the top Democrat on the panel, said the committee would begin a process of “accountability,” one that would involve cross-country visits to take testimony.
When asked about impeachment, he said, “Nothing is off the table.”
“This shooting did not happen in a vacuum. It is a tragic result of Noem’s dangerous reign as Secretary,” Thompson said.
If Democrats take the House and/or the Senate in the midterms, I have no doubt that they will try to impeach not only Trump but members of his cabinet as well. Their base demands it.

The Democrats were working to impeach Trump before all the votes had been counted in the 2024 election.
They were working to impeach trump since the 2000 election in case he ever got back into office.
“cruelty and lawless” means successful while making Democrats unhappy.
His “cruelty” is to make life better for actual citizens. His “lawlessness” is enforcing the law.

I think they are getting a bit ahead of themselves. First they actually have to take back the house, whis is by no stretch of the imagination a sure thing.
There will probably be no Republicans/Conservatives elected this fall in Blue States. In California it is now a crime to request identification at a polling place. I bet that any Red Congressional Districts in California that they haven’t gerrymandered out of existence will have abnormally high voter turn out and will elect Democrat Representatives. Other Blue States will find something to “fortify” the Democrat vote while Red States, or seemingly Red States will do squat.
I can’t tell you how much I hate that this wretched ignorant twat is my representative in Congress. I want to puke.
How is this news? Is there anyone in the world who imagines the Dems won’t impeach him if they get a majority?! Everyone knows they will, and have known it ever since he was reelected. That’s why it’s important that they should not get a majority.
