Leaked Doc Reveals DSA’s List of Radical Anti-Israel Demands for Mamdani
Having helped propel him to victory, the DSA now appears eager to collect on its investment.
A leaked document from a November 2 meeting of the New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America reveals a series of extreme anti-Israel demands the group is preparing to press Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani to adopt. Having helped propel him to victory, the DSA now appears eager to collect on its investment.
Although Mamdani is a long-time member of the DSA who clearly aligns with its anti-Israeli agenda, members are clearly worried he might yield to political pressure once he takes office.
Just the News’ Jerry Dunleavy obtained an internal Anti-War Working Group document that details what the DSA plans to demand of Mamdani.
Dunleavy reported he accessed the document by responding, under his real name, to a DSA announcement of the meeting that was listed as open to the public. He was “sent a Zoom link to join, and a Google document containing the AWWG strategy document.”
The document, titled AWWG Palestine Policy Meeting Meeting Agenda & Notes, lists the following demands:
- Divest City pension funds from Israeli bonds and securities
- Withdraw City funds from banks that lend money to Israel or do business in Israel End City contracts with companies that do business with Israel
- Operate City-run grocery stores free from Israeli products
- Investigate real estate agents hosting illegal sales of stolen lands in the West Bank Evict weapons manufacturers and transporters from the NYC Metro Area
- Remove non-profit status from charities that raise funds for IDF
- Divest CUNY endowment and reinstate wrongly fired professors
- Dismantle Eric Adam’s NYC-Israel economic council
- End NYPD training with IOF [Critics of Israel often refer to IDF as IOF or Israel Occupying Forces]
- End repression of demonstrators and the SRG
- Arrest Netanyahu and active IDF soldiers for war crimes
These demands perfectly reflect the DSA’s broader national agenda. The DSA’s foreign policy section begins with its position on Palestine:
Free Palestine. An immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, an end to military and economic aid, and weapons sales to Israel, respect of the authority of the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice, and national sovereignty for the Palestinian people.
Asked for a comment on these demands by The New York Post, state Assemblyman Kalman Yeger, a conservative Brooklyn Democrat and Orthodox Jew, said:
Well at least the DSA mask is off. This was never about affordability, free buses or anything else. This was always about Jew hatred.
With every municipal issue facing New York City’s government, the DSA doesn’t care about the state of our schools, streets, parks, subways, city budget or anything else. They care about Israel — Israel and only Israel.
At least now they can stop trying to deny their antisemitism; most New Yorkers aren’t stupid.
Actually, some New Yorkers are stupid. In fact, 50.4% of them are.
While Mamdani openly embraced the label of Democratic Socialist during the campaign, he occasionally sought to distance himself from some of the movement’s more radical positions. There appeared to be a tacit understanding between Mamdani and the DSA that he would do so whenever it was politically expedient.
Mamdani knew very well there were lines he couldn’t cross if he hoped to get elected. Despite his past anti-Israel remarks and his refusal to denounce the slogan “Globalize the intifada,” he claimed he would be a mayor “who protects Jewish New Yorkers.” Remarkably, about a third of Jewish voters seemed to believe him.
He insisted repeatedly that he was neither a communist nor anti-Israel. Even as old statements emerged suggesting otherwise, his supporters largely looked the other way.
At any rate, the DSA played a large role in Mamdani’s victory. The question is, will he reward them for their efforts and impose their hard-left agenda? Or will he temper his politics and be a mayor for all New Yorkers?
If his victory speech was any indication, I fear it’s the former.
Even Van Jones — hardly a centrist himself — remarked on the noticeable shift in Mamdani’s tone from the campaign trail. After watching the victory speech, Jones said:
I think he missed an opportunity. I think the Mamdani that we saw in the campaign trail, who was a lot more calm, who was a lot warmer, who was a lot more embracing, was not present in that speech. And I think that Mamdani is the one you need to hear from tonight. There are a lot of people trying to figure out, can I get on this train with him or not? Is he going to include me? Is he going — is he — is he going to be more of a class warrior even in office? I think he missed a chance tonight to to open up and bring more people into the tent. I think his tone was sharp. I think he was using the microphone in a way that he was almost yelling.
CNN's Van Jones was not a fan of Zohran Mamdani's angry, far-left, rage-filled victory speech:

Let’s judge Mamdani by statements he’s made in unguarded moments before his mayoral campaign, not by the polished lines of his campaign speeches.
For example, speaking at a New York University event in September 2023, Mamdani made one of his most despicable, antisemitic remarks yet. He said, “We have to make clear that when the boot of the NYPD is on your neck, it is been laced by the IDF.”
Mamdani was parroting a talking point from the long-running, anti-Israel “Deadly Exchange” campaign, which was created by the anti-Zionist, left-wing advocacy group, Jewish Voice for Peace. Legal Insurrection has covered this topic extensively.
Does that sound like a mayor who would protect Jewish New Yorkers?

It’s funny when your motivation is hate ; how irrational the behavior is. None of those “wish list “ items will help New Yorkers in any way . It doesn’t get them greater access to housing or more affordable groceries or better schools or health insurance. Also none of these hate items will “help” Palestinians the supposed angels at the centerpieces of Mamdani’s consciousness. Nope all those policies do is hurt Jews no matter what kind of Jew, you are including the idiot ones who supported him.
The DSA is all about “Get Jews” just like the Dimocrats are all about “Get Trump’ to the exclusion of everything else, including helping their constituents. Noo Yuck City is about to get what they wanted, good and hard.
.
I can’t comment on articles such as this one anymore, Most of my thoughts are very violent and definitely illegal. It’s probably a good thing I don’t have any power and never will.
Same here.
The cold civil war is defrosting. Buy ammo
So glad I came on Aliyah 6 years ago.
I am Paul Kersey.
How many NYC Jewish voters chose Mamdani? Do we have any reliable data to answer that question? American secular and Reform Jews get stupid when it comes to political matters. I know my own people from personal experience, and from history. They will vote overwhelmingly for Jew haters like FDR. A lot of it comes from simple ignorance, but too much comes from a love of socialism. Ignorance is no excuse when it come to Mamdani who is all too clear about what his policies will be. How many will flee NYC? We will know soon. Watch for a big exit tax. Watch for violence against Jews. Watch for Kristallnacht in NYC.
As for that exit tax, it will prove interesting seeing how they manage to collect it.
Islam on the move!
1/3 voted for the muslim.
it’s not always love of socialism although that probably is more the case in nyc.
some of it is familial habit.
some of it is affinity for labor unions.
some of it is affinity for minority groups
some of it is rejection by republicans although that has changed over the years.
some of it is the greater number of elected Jewish officials.
some of it is due to the increasing progressive nature of reform Judaism due to the increasing
role of women in that movement especially in the clergy
all of this can change both because the republicans are more accepting and the democrats
have fully embraced antisemitism.
Reform Judaism: Democrats with holidays.
My family always voted Democratic because they (and I) was told that Republicans hate Jews. That’s it. Simple. I specifically remember having this conversation with my mother in my elementary age years.

I don’t think Mamdani will be openly violent ; I think he will more subtle like pulling funding from Jewish charities that he claims support “genocide.” But his implicit message is that Jews support “genocide” and that will cause violence. It will encourage his base to take violent action; as they won’t be satisfied with just a political solution. Those people want blood. However, Mamdani can claim that he doesn’t endorse this and any suggestion that he does he’ll just cry “Islamaphobia!” Mamdani will just smile and say “New York is for everyone,” and “I deplore all acts of violence” while never calling it antisemitism or Jew hatred. He’ll be completely let off the hook, to the tune of increasing violence against Jews.
“There are a lot of people trying to figure out, can I get on this train with him or not?”
Have you learned no history whatsoever?
Do not get on the train.
“Or will he temper his politics and be a mayor for all New Yorkers?” That’s like wondering if Obama will eschew racial politics and be a president for all Americans. Or was this just a joke?
He’s a sick joke and like Obama, he will cause much harm to America for years to come
He makes Obama look like a uniter.
How easy would it be for the voters of New York to recall a mayor they’ve suddenly decided they don’t want? Or is the majority/plurality likely to stick with their National Socialist German Workers’ Party er I mean Democratic Socialists of America candidate?
New Yorkers voted for him and deserve what they voted for, Jews or otherwise. FAFO. They can change their votes in four years if they don’t like him after he screws them. I’m ok with New Yorkers feeling the pain.
Between Iraq and a hard-core Islamic place? Mamdhani better learn to dance to an AK 47 beat.
Well, here in lies the problem. This new Mayor is a Muslim, and I have watched and studied these people for a long time now. Don’t much care if he’s a Socalist or a Marxist, he can be either or, and both suck and are dangerous. But the simple fact is that a lot of idiots voted for the one person that will be happy to see them all converted or dead. Their holy book teaches flat out to kill the Christian and to kill the Jew where ever they can find them, and take their property. It also teaches that a woman if of less then half the value of a man, and the same with children. THIS right here is what these fools voted for, and they don’t even know it yet, but they soon will. Give it a little time, and the rest of the Muslims in the city will be running rampant and you will be soon hearing that call to prayer’ blaring in loudspeakers, and Christian churches will be getting shutdown or getting burned to the ground, wait for it….
Hey, New York Nitwits, “To Serve Man…..It’s A Cookbook”! Please don’t tell me “never again” when it comes to terrorist attacks. It will be interesting to see this phony, bearded wonder attend the next 9/11 memorial. Idiots either can’t remember what happened that day, or simply won’t care.
Everyone reading here has a congressman who gets maybe 100 letters/emails from constituents per month who will see if you care about looted antiquities.
Therefore ask why New York City is flooded with them.
A great way to punish New York City for going Bolshevik is to make take away her cultural hegemony which in no small part comes from Uncle Sam turning a blind eye to her looted antiquities.
