Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) made it sound like she had some involvement in the peace deal that secured the release of Israeli hostages from Hamas. Warren posted on X:

Today is a good day. Surviving Israeli hostages are finally home and reuniting with loved ones. I’m thinking of them and their families on this joyful day and praying for their full recovery. I’m also grieving for all those who can’t come home today.
Today must also be an important step toward lasting peace in the region — peace for both Israelis and Palestinians. We must end the war in Gaza, surge humanitarian aid, and negotiate a two-state solution now.

I haven’t been following exactly but is the peace deal anything more than return of hostages? Which doesn’t matter to me much compared to some other agreement about power structure in the region, that I have heard nothing about so far.
Read about the deal. There is a lot to it. If the other parts actually happen it would allow Gaza, and the Palestinians, to turn the corner.
I’m afraid I didn’t read about it because I don’t believe there will ever be peace. The arabs and what’s worse the Muslims will never tolerate a Jewish country in that area. Oh they might tolerate it short term but never long time.
The West including the progressive peacenik dipshits in Israel will never allow Israel to complete the job of defanging the arabs. The situation is only going to grow worse over time as the West falls to the muslim hordes, Europe within the next 5 t0 10 years, US within the next 20, It’s already started and is accelerating much faster than I ever thought possible with the Muslims here aided by our own degenerate large unethical progressive population.
If I was Israel what I would do is work to defang my local progressive population anyway I can, gut the regressive judiciary, and build more nukes. A lot more nukes. In the end that is the only thing that will protect them. Oh and never allow immigration of Muslims no matter what the reason given for it, They can go elsewhere.
