University of Virginia Employees Admit DEI Programs Still Exist, Only Names Have Changed
“We didn’t actually get rid of our programs and stuff like that, just like renamed them.”
A video circulating on Twitter/X right now shows employees and students at the University of Virginia explaining that nothing has really changed at the school except the words to describe various DEI programs, events, and groups.
This is something that we have seen schools do for months now. They disguise progressive programs by simply changing the words used to describe them.
At one very telling moment in the video, a young woman explains that the student body is on the left, but that the faculty is even further left.

Multiple staffers at the University of Virginia were documented on video openly explaining their efforts to continue pushing diversity, equity and inclusion programs at the school by simply rebranding them to avoid scrutiny or a potential loss of federal funds.
“We had to change the names of some of our programs and stuff, like we had Queer Brunch, we can’t call it Queer Brunch anymore, you gotta call it Cozy Brunch, so we changed the name to that, like, we had a program in the Latinx Student Center called Comida Comunidad, it’s like community and friends, and we had to change the name of that to just food and community now,” Davon Lewis, program coordinator multicultural student services, explained in a video obtained by Fox News Digital.
“So like, we’re doing the same stuff, but like changing the names a little bit, so like it doesn’t bring scrutiny on the office and stuff like that.”
When asked if the implementation of DEI at UVA is just a matter of changing the name to stay out of trouble, Lewis responded with a laugh, “Yes.”
Asia, a student at UVA, is seen on the video explaining that there was concern about “like antisemitism,” putting air quotes on antisemitism with her fingers, and noted that the school’s president was ousted in June over DEI concerns from the Trump administration.
Asia says in the video that “now all of our affinity programs are basically finding ways to, like, kind of move under the radar.”
“We didn’t actually get rid of our programs and stuff like that, just like renamed them.”

This news comes just a week after it was announced that the University of Virginia had reached a deal with the Trump administration which included the elimination of DEI programs.
Trump’s Education Department and DOJ may want to revisit that agreement.

Easy fix. Get a copy of employment by position during DEI era and one after DEI was ‘eliminated’. Compare the names. If the folks who were formerly employed in some wokiesta sounding DEI role haven’t moved to a position in an explicitly not DEI sounding job title then start asking questions. Even easier look at total employment and if it didn’t drop off when DEI was ‘eliminated’ then they didn’t eliminate it just repackaged it under a slightly less wokiesta sounding title. Nuke the administrators responsible for the shenanigans; literally put them on a ‘black list’ and announce that any institution employing them will automatically lose Federal Ed Funding. Demand not just a draconian consent decree for UVA but a DoJ selected ‘special master’ to oversee the implementation in a ruthless and draconian manner. Two decades ought to be long enough to excise the institutional rot.
If they are transgender they might have changed their name to something like Pixy Fartopotamus and given you a big red x to target that doesn’t require any research.
Sort the list by employee number or SS number to bump the list up against each other.
Which, in Bakke Time, means four actual decades.
