US President Donald Trump praises Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “great courage and patriotism” in his address to the Knesset, saying “his partnership did so much to make this day possible.” He asks Netanyahu to stand up as the plenum applauds. “And he’s not easy, I wanna tell you,” says Trump. “He’s not the easiest guy to deal with. But that’s what makes him great.” “Thank you very much, Bibi. Great job,” he says. Trump thanks the Arab and Muslim countries who pressured Hamas to free the hostages it was holding, calling it “an incredible triumph for Israel to have all these nations working together as partners in peace.” “This will be remembered as the moment that everything began to change,” he says. “It will be the golden age of Israel, and the golden age of the Middle East.”Two lawmakers of the Hadash party, the former Communist party, tried to heckle President Trump during the speech. They were quickly escorted out by the ushers, prompting the president’s praise. Other lawmakers broke out in spontaneous chants of “Trump, Trump.” “That was very efficient,” President Trump said.
After his speech in Knesset, the president will depart for Sharm el-Sheik, Egypt, where a Gaza peace plan is expected to be signed. US President Donald Trump arrived at the Knesset on Monday morning, ahead of his speech at the plenum. A trumpet fanfare sounded in the Knesset upon his entrance to the building. In the meeting in Netanyahu’s office, Trump wrote in the Knesset’s guest book: “It is a great honor for me – this is a beautiful day, a new beginning. With great respect.” Trump was asked by reporters in the Knesset hallways if the Israel-Hamas war is over. “Yes,” the president emphatically answered. “It’s a great day. A whole new beginning. There’s never been an event like it. It’s a great day,” Trump commented. “I’m so happy for the hostages and their families,” he added.
Earlier in the day, President Trump was received at Ben Gurion airport by Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Netanyahu. “Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu greeted Trump on the tarmac as a military band played,” the Associated Press reported. The crowd at Tel Aviv Hostages Square cheered as it watched the live broadcast of U.S. President Donald Trump alighting Air Force One at Ben Gurion Airport. “In Hostages Square in Tel Aviv, the site of continuous demonstrations during two years of war, the crowd cheered for Trump,” the AP News added.President Trump signs a guest book in Israel's Parliament: "This is my great honor – a great and beautiful day. Indonesian President to visit Israel this week in surprise move
In another major win for President Trump’s diplomatic push to expand the Abraham Accords, Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto is expected to visit Israel in the coming days. Indonesia is home to the largest population of Muslims in the world. “Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto may arrive in Israel this week in what would be a historic first-ever visit by a leader of the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation, which has no formal diplomatic relations with Israel,” the Israel Hayom newspaper reported. “Subianto, who is attending the Sharm el-Sheikh summit in Egypt alongside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, reportedly plans to visit Israel afterward.”Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to arrive in Israel tomorrow, marking the first-ever visit by a head of state from the world’s largest Muslim-majority country.
The visit follows Prabowo’s unexpectedly warm UN speech in September, where he ended his address… pic.twitter.com/AQqwuiLfWY— ILTV Israel News (@ILTVNews) October 13, 2025

All good stuff. #47 deserves enormous praise and credit. Let’s hope that the collective weight of his authority, and, the collective diplomatic pressure brought to bear by the other countries supporting this deal — including Arab and non-Arab Islamic countries — is sufficient to kick Hamas out of the political picture, and, keep them out.
Nobel Peace Prize Chairman: “What Trump did is nothing comparison to the great humanitarian work of María Corina Machado of Venezuela.”

The other countries but excluding the EU and Australia. Even NZ showed some balls by not supporting a Palestinian state 🤷♂️🤷♂️
Trump appears to have good intentions. I wonder how much of the history of this conflict he understands? In one form or another, this is a repeat of what has gone on since 1948. Muslims attack Israel. Israel kicks Muslim butt! The UN and Western nations jump in to rescue the Muslims while at the same time the Muslims chant “death to America.”Notice how this “peace conference “that involves Israel, purposely excludes Israel. Most likely this conference we attempt to create a second Palestinian State on Israel’s border, the first being Gaza. The Oslo “Peace” “accord involved Israel giving land (Gaza) to so called Palestinians in trade for PEACE. Those Palestinians gave Israel 20 years of war and terrorism. The Palestinians violated the Oslo Accords, therefore they should be removed from Gaza and the land returned to Israel. What good is an international agreement if the Palestinians do not have to abide with it? Again and again fail to abide by it. Why will this be any different? Also note there are no Palestinians and there has been no country of Palestine to recreate! The people being discussed and called Palestinians, are actually displaced Arabs and their offspring who were displaced because of the Arab nations surrounding Israel, invaded Israel in 1948 and Arab people living in the war zone were displaced and after the war, those Arab countries would not let their people return to their homes. Kind of like the displaced Jews after WW2. Thousands of Jews were released from the killing camps returned to their homes across Europe, only to find their homes occupied by Europeans and the respective European governments would not allow them to reclaim their stolen property. Encouraging them to relocate to the new land of Israel was their solution. Along with the relocations, those European countries anticipated the Jewish Problem would be resolved when the Arab Muslim countries attacked Israel and exterminated the Jews. Britain and France even provided the Arabs with military weapons and the USA issued an embargo on weapons for Israel. Is this about to happen again?
I pray this will be a lasting peace, but I have my doubts. This is an Arab-Jew blood feud that goes back 5,000 years to Ishmael VS Isreal, both sons of Abraham.
I wasn’t born when modern Israel nation was re-constituted in 1948. I do remember the 1967 ‘six day war,’ the 1972 ‘yom kippur war,’ and the two Lebanese civil wars where Israel intervened.
All ended in cease fires/peace accords. All included Israel giving up land for peace and got neither. All started up again with killing.
The islamist ‘holy’ book commands those who worship Mohammed to ‘kill the Jew where ever you find him.’
I have my doubts this will be a lasting peace.
Sadly, this will not be a lasting peace.
But I pray that I am wrong.
There is no such thing as lasting peace. All peace is temporary peace and that is preferable to no peace at all.
Trump gets props for loudly and publicly announcing that “the war is over.”
Why? Because it puts a great big pin in it.
First one who breaks the peace now… brand new war!
No more “but 40 years ago Israel did this.”
Shuts up the Euroweenies, too.
Full license to hammer the troublemakers and make an end of it.
Worst Hitler ever. Seriously, what are Trump’s opponents going to call him now?
The same people who hated Trump last week continue to hate him this week. Likewise, the same people who were filled with hatred toward the Jews last week continue to hate Jews this week.
“Jew Hitler!”
What? They’re Democrats. It doesn’t HAVE to make sense.
I’m going to maintain cautious optimism. It is interesting how the US news promptly ran stories about the families, not celebrating their return, but complaining that this didn’t happen soon enough. That will probably be the theme for the next year.
Wait until you see the BBC and their framing of the Palestinians that are about to be released as you will absolute not get any of the background for why these people were locked up to begin with.
when will the usa employee the same with the hamas like minded of the blmplo squads???
Here we go. Save your optimism.
The murderous scum only released 4 of the deceased instead of about 20that were expected.
I hope that’s an error from ynet.com but it wouldn’t surprise me a whole lot if it was true.
Good job Trump.
My preference though would have been to liquidate all of hamas everywhere and anywhere,
However, it is not a historic dawn. It is merely pause in a never-ending cycle as long as muslims dream of domination world-wide and arabs continue to be enabled by those muslims and what’s worse by stupid ignorant westerners,
Considering how much high tech weapons we are selling to every nation that faces off against Russian equipment I think the defense industry might not try to start another war in the middle east for a while.
I doubt the defense industry starts much of anything. The politicians world wide seem plenty capable of starting wars all on their own.
Surely you don’t believe the defense industry isn’t out there lobbying for it.
They lobby, I don’t believe they lobby for war or to continue wars. I believe the attempt to take advantage of circumstances as they should.
I don’t think the military does either. Most of them have too much to lose to do so. Not many people lusting for war like Patton apparently did.
I think it’s the politicians and perhaps the talking heads who treat it as a game of stratego. They have no actual skin in the game these days, I believe its been that way for quite a while.
This is just my opinion. It’s trendy to blame the defense industry since at least WW2 but I think that is lazy thinking. They are just fulfilling a need created elsewhere,
As for cost overruns I think that has much to do with the requested specs and especially changes to specs as it does with program management by contractors.
I was never in the military. I never worked for a defense contractor. I was never a politician. I’d be interested in the more informed opinions of those that were or are.
I use Bing to check what the Communists’ daily message will be.
Sure enough: the top story listed was Trump getting heckled.
Funny. Tucker’s main take today was that Trump get applauded and Bibi got heckled.
Where are all those people protesting for a ceasefire? They never had a stake, but had other things in mind. It almost seems like they are disappointed.
Peace doesn’t come from capitulating to savages. If Biden were the one to bring this deal to Israel, all the ‘right wingers’ would hate this deal, but since ‘our friend’ Donnie brought it, then it’s fantastic.
As Arafat got his Nobel for bringing disaster to Israel, so should Trump.
