Trump Admin Investigating George Mason University Over Allegations of Antisemitism

The civil rights office in President Trump’s Department of Education is now investigating allegations of antisemitism at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. If you read Legal Insurrection, this news comes as no surprise.
Anti-Israeli activity at George Mason began almost immediately after the October 7th attacks.
Last December, police found guns, ammo, and terrorist flags at the home of Students for Justice in Palestine leaders at George Mason. Later the same month, another student at the school was arrested for plotting an attack on the Israeli Consulate in New York City.
Where there is smoke, there is fire.

Trump Admin Launches Anti-Semitism Probe Into George Mason University
The Trump administration is investigating George Mason University over allegations that Jewish students and faculty have faced a hostile environment on campus, according to a letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
The Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights launched the investigation on Tuesday in response to a civil rights complaint alleging that George Mason “discriminated on the basis of national origin (shared Jewish ancestry) by failing to respond effectively to a pervasive hostile environment for Jewish students and faculty at the University from October 2023 through the 2024-2025 academic year,” according to the letter.
The probe marks the Trump administration’s latest move to crack down on campus anti-Semitism and racial discrimination. The federal government has frozen nearly $3 billion in federal funding from Harvard University and revoked the school’s authorization to host international students, and slashed over $430 million from Columbia University and threatened the school’s accreditation. The administration has also frozen roughly $790 million to Northwestern University and more than $1 billion to Cornell University.
George Mason has grappled with a number of high-profile incidents involving anti-Israel and even pro-terror radicalism since Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack.

The presidents of Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, and Cornell, among others, have come under fire or been forced out in recent years for failures of leadership on campus anti-Semitism and racially discriminatory DEI programs. Yet Gregory Washington, the president of George Mason University, has managed to keep his job despite similar failures. Mason may not be an Ivy League school, but anti-Semitism and discrimination are problems at nonelite public universities, too. Washington’s track record warrants his resignation or dismissal.
Mason’s Board of Visitors selected Washington in 2020, just as woke fever was reaching its peak. Upon appointment, Washington committed Mason to being “a national exemplar of antiracism and inclusive excellence.” True to his word, Washington built a gigantic diversity, equity, and inclusion bureaucracy, with 7.4 DEI staff per 100 tenure-track faculty members. This was the second-highest ratio among the more than 70 universities the Heritage Foundation examined.

Where is VA’s Attorney General on this?
I think it would be easier if we keep a list of colleges and universities where Jew hated is not tolerated at all by the administration rather than keep listing those where it is tolerated and even encouraged.
