Israel Launches Preemptive Strike On Iran

Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz: “a special state of emergency will be imposed in the home front throughout the entire State of Israel.” — Targeted decapitation strikes on Iranian military leadership, state TV say head of Revolutionary Guards killed.

Israel has launched a preemptive strike on Iran, including in the capital of Tehran.

As in all breaking situations, information can be inaccurate but we do our best only to use sources or information deemed relible. We will update this post as events unfold.

Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz immediately declares a special state of emergency in the home front throughout the entire State of Israel:

“Following the State of Israel’s preemptive strike against Iran, a missile and drone attack against the State of Israel and its civilian population is expected in the immediate future. Therefore, and in accordance with his authority under the Civil Defense Law, Defense Minister Israel Katz has now signed a special order, according to which a special state of emergency will be imposed in the home front throughout the entire State of Israel.”

TRUMP

@BretBaier spoke to President Trump by phone tonight following start of airstrikes.

Here’s what he said:

President Trump was aware of the strikes beforehand. There were no surprises, but the US was NOT involved militarily and hopes Iran will return to the negotiating table.

President Trump:
“Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb and we are hoping to get back to the negotiating table. We will see. There are several people in leadership that will not be coming back.” (A reference to some of the Iranian leaders who were killed tonight by Israel.)

Pres Trump has spoken to PM Netanyahu several times in recent days.

The Trump Administration reached out to at least one key Middle Eastern ally to acknowledge that the strike was going to happen but that the US was not involved in the strikes and the goal is still to get Iran back to the negotiating table.

The President is looking to see if there is retaliation, CENTCOM is on high alert, The US will defend itself and Israel if Iran retaliates.

He said I hope they get back to the negotiating table.

The US has replenished Iron Dome missiles in recent weeks, according to administration officials.

US officials confirm a number of top Iranian leaders are dead after the strikes.

Again, the US military was not involved in any way in these strikes, but clearly the administration knew about the Israeli plans in advance and was not surprised.

    Dear IDF,

Be unrelenting. Do what’s necessary. And more. And don’t stop.

The festering boil of the Iranian Regime has been threatening to destroy Israel for years and eliminate every Jew from the Mid East. They have been funding every terror group they can find to do it by proxy and if they get a nuke I have no doubt they would use it or smuggle it to the genocidal maniacs in Hamas, Hezbollah, Yemani’s or any one else who is crazy enough to set it off. It’s long past time to stop the farce of the UN Nuke inspections and do something concrete before the bombs start dropping.

If whoever controlled the White House during Biden’s term had simply continued the sanctions from DJT’s term, it might not have come to this. We’ll never know.

Deal with Iran now or when they have nukes.

And to complicate things even further, if Iran gets nukes then everyone in the region is going to want, and then obtain, nukes. That’s the last thing the world needs, an End of Days death cult with nuclear warheads and the ICBMs to deliver them. It pains me to read comments from so many close to Trumpworld (Carlson et el.) about how this is none of our business. When a regime’s favorite motto is, ‘Death to America, Death to the Great Satan.’ of course its our business and our national interests to prevent them from obtaining WMD.

Finally.

Official Israeli sources are indicating this was a multi-target attack on both C2 and nuclear weapons programs sites, possibly as many as 20 targets were hit. Whatever hit that building was a sizable munition. We only have a couple conventional cruise missiles that could singularly do that damage. I’m not sure what IDF has. Could have been multiple cruise missiles, I guess. They never would have done this without our assistance prior to 10/7. That really did change the calculus for them in a profound way.

    Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu:

“We have no choice but to act swiftly. If we don’t act now, we simply won’t be here anymore. ‘Never again’ is now. We have learned the lessons of history: when a foe says he intends to destroy you – believe him.”

Israel will be condemned in public by many in public worldwide, only to be thankful in private.

Hopefully, the intelligence is up to par and this is a huge success. Iran with a bomb is too risky for all, for many reasons, but few are willing to act, which is shameful.

So, in public, kudos to Israel!

Command and Control and decapitation strikes. Taking out the mullahs allows the resistance to do the rest. President Trump is hands off for good reason. We can’t have a hand in bringing down the Iranian regime. If Teheran goes after America all bets are off. Those B-2’s with MOAB’s will be sent in to finish it. And don’t forget the ICBM’s with 25 ton deep penetration conventional weapons. Russia gives us a heads up about an ICBM test. We reciprocate, but let them know it’s non-nuclear. FAFO Iran and Valerie Jarrett.

Bibi has already said the attacks will continue as long as necessary to assure the destruction of Iran’s nuclear facilities. Today’s attacks were, in part and as you mention, against command and control facilities. Wouldn’t be surprised if some of the more threatening anti-air batteries were also eliminated to dispose of a threat to follow-on attacks against the actual targets, the nuke sites. This sort of thing will be ongoing, as Iran attempts to set up new C&C facilities and adjusts its anti-air assets. Moving anti-air assets (which will probably be done at night) will also be a major secondary target, as the more dangerous anti-air weapons have to be packed up before moving, and are therefor incapable of defending themselves. Mobile anti-air will accompany them in transit, but modern air launched weapons and appropriate tactics will largely, if not completely, neutralize that threat.

What’s Jarrett got to do with it? Why stick her name in?

Iran said Thursday it will build a new uranium enrichment facility after the United Nations nuclear watchdog adopted a resolution criticizing Iran for “non-compliance” with its obligations.

“The necessary orders have been issued by the head of the Atomic Energy Organization to launch a new enrichment center in a secure location,” said a joint statement from the organization and the foreign ministry, adding that “other measures… will be announced later”.

The U.N. nuclear watchdog’s board of governors on Thursday adopted a resolution condemning Iran’s “non-compliance” with its obligations, three diplomatic sources told AFP.

The motion drafted by the United States, Britain, France and Germany was carried by 19 votes in favor, out of 35 in total, diplomats said

“The top Democrat on the Senate Armed Services, Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., called Israel’s airstrikes on Iran a “reckless escalation that risks igniting regional violence.””

What an asshat, What does he think has been going on in the region. Damn the RI Senators are stupid.

E Howard Hunt | June 12, 2025 at 10:21 pm

Israel should just drop its nukes on Iran. Iran would do it to Israel if given the chance.

As of now it, is all out war and in all out war, and in an all out war you must do whatever you have to do in order to win.

TargaGTS in reply to E Howard Hunt. | June 12, 2025 at 10:53 pm

No offense, but that would be…unhelpful. The Iranian people have done nothing to Israel and in fact, are some of the most supportive cultures of the Israeli people in the ME. There’s a huge chasm between where the theocracy is and where the vast majority of Iranians are.

TrickyRicky in reply to TargaGTS. | June 12, 2025 at 11:25 pm

The Iranian population was close to throwing off the yoke during the Persian Spring in 2009, but BHO shived them in the back.

E Howard Hunt in reply to TargaGTS. | June 12, 2025 at 11:49 pm

You have seen too many movies. Almost the entire civilian population would survive a targeted nuclear strike.

thumbs up

The decapitation strikes appear to have been incredibly effective. Israeli intelligence has once again proven to be one of the best in modern history.

geronl in reply to TargaGTS. | June 13, 2025 at 1:55 am

It now seems the entire IRGC leadership and their top nuke scientists have been deleted.

mailman in reply to geronl. | June 13, 2025 at 3:08 am

That’s what we like to call a good start.

Now let’s see if the regime can hang on without the help of Democrats.

Will Fetterman and Torres be the only Democrats to support what is right?

Trump has developed early dementia, possibly He is talking about negotiations with Iran after the corrupt inspectors of Iran nuclear program found the Iranians have greatly increased . the enrichment process, and could have nuclear warheads in a matter of weeks. American right-wing antisemitic scumbags like the punk Tucker Carlson ..are influencing Trump. Since it is open season on Jews everywhere, Jews must destroy their enemies or they will be destroyed.

‘We are believers the children of believers & we have no one to lean on accept our Father in Heaven. Israel trust in Hashem. He is your helper & your shield.’ – popular Israeli song.

It now looks like the entire top military brass of Iran is dead as well as all top nuke scientists. Might I suggest they also take out the entire Guardian Council too

Without their protection in Lebanon and, to a much lesser extent Gaza, Iran is vulnerable to attacks.

We really do owe Hamas a debt of gratitude for their tireless work to remove this protective shield for Iran. Maybe Hamas really is in the service of the Jews? 🤔😂😂

Anyway, hardest hit by all this will be the BBC.

Israel destroys Iran’s nuclear capability. The Squad hardest hit.

Every country in NATO that has the capacity to send a bomb to Iran should do so on the same day at the same time and make it a parking lot

It can be argued that Donald Trump loves his family and his country so much that he is willing to risk personal disaster to save it all. He doesn’t seem like the kind of person that wants anyone to ask him in the future; ‘With all of your resources, why didn’t you do something?’
