Iran’s exiled Crown Prince, Reza Pahlavi, is calling on the Iranian people to finish what he says has already begun—the fall of the Islamic Republic.
In a fiery new video statement, Pahlavi says the regime’s repression “is falling apart,” Ayatollah Khamenei has gone “into hiding like a frightened rat,” and the people should rise up now—before the window closes.

The Islamic Republic has come to its end and is collapsing. What has begun is irreversible. The future is bright, and together we will turn the page of history. Now is the time to stand up; the time to reclaim Iran. May I be with you soon. pic.twitter.com/qrbnDmf8SX

The Islamic Republic has reached its end and is in the process of collapsing. Khamenei, like a frightened rat, has gone into hiding underground and has lost control of the situation. What has begun is irreversible. The future is bright, and together, we will pass through this sharp turn in history.
He goes on to name cities across the country, from Shiraz to Isfahan, Mashhad to Ahvaz, urging Iranians to flood the streets in a final push to reclaim their country.
To Iran’s military and government workers, he’s urging defection:
“Do not stand against the Iranian people for the sake of a regime whose fall has begun and is inevitable.”
Pahlavi insists there’s a post-fall plan already in place:
“We are prepared for the first hundred days after the fall, for the transitional period, and for the establishment of a national and democratic government—by the Iranian people and for the Iranian people.”

One thing is certain. This has been planned.
huh?
40 + years ago.
There is an article (somewhere) that indicates that the grand poohbah has checked out mentally and his aides are sheltering him from information and presumably decisions. Don’t know if it’s true but it does sound pretty familiar doesn’t it?
Will we eventually get Ayatollah-in-the-bunker meme videos on YouTube?
I don’t know how effective memes would be in Iran, but mocking the Dear Leader is an honored method for wearing down the government.
A chair by Biden on the beach?
Can you imagine how Barry Hussein is feeling right about now? His plan to allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons has been torn apart by two groups he detests, Jews and Trump 😂😂
The left had promised me that Trump would being endless war but it appears almost as if peace throughout the Middle East is in danger of breaking out.
Well done Jews and Trump.
This is gonna be a hard one for the left to explain away and credit to Biden 😂
Barry – should go down as one of the worst presidents in history
A) supporting Iran’s nuclear program
B) reversing the slow and steady improvement in race relations in the US
Today’s conflict COULD have been avoided had Barry and his other racists who were racisty against Jews hadn’t empowered and emboldened Iran.
These deaths are in their shoulders.
Carter started it all…. as did France. Would be interesting to see with there are 10% for both guys and/or the Dem party. A Republican in Congress wants to stop this present action against Iran since “not our war”. Iran has practiced launching missiles from container ships…. the missiles “failed” at about 100 miles up. Maybe the Republican rep might want to read about EMPs. This is all rushing ahead so fast….
Or have his bank accounts checked? 🤔
Mailman, one thing I am certain of is that Thomas Massie is not being paid off, by Iran or anyone else.
He’s right that the president shouldn’t deliberately involve the USA in a war it can avoid, without Congressional approval in advance.
As for it not being “our war”, he’s partly right, but the fact is that a state of war or near-war has existed between the USA and Iran for decades. So if Israel needs us to deliver the coup de grace to the mullahs’ rule, it would be stupid to refuse.
To be fair it doesn’t seem overly objectionable for a Congressman to seek to insist on the Congress of the USA retaining its Constitutional Power to ‘make and declare War’. A US strike at this point would be an offensive v a defensive act….though Iran sure deserves a solid curb stomping or two or three from the USA. Troops in the field can always act to defend themselves from an attack without permission from Congress but the President isn’t supposed to conduct offensive operations unilaterally under our Constitutional framework which might bring us into a state of conflict…that’s supposed to be a decision reserved for Congress.
IMO and I am incredibly biased against Iran b/c I had their proxy trying to kill me and a specific bounty on me (had to wear a belt with a.’blood chit’ inside offering $50K to return me to US forces). The Iranians helped fund and train as well as had their agents operating in Iraq that killed some of my friends. Bush should have had the stones to engage Iran then but he declined to do it despite the very clear evidence of Iranian involvement in targeting US personnel.
As for Massie, he is many things but not paid by Iran. He’s trying to keep the players and the system honest and to remind folks of the Constitution and its obligations. That doesn’t seem overly objectionable despite how much I’d personally like to see the USA launch a strike…so long as it is effective, repeated until it is effective and we keep the heck out of any ‘nation building/peace keeping’ nonsense in the aftermath.
Milhouse, what I find objectionable is the usual double standards we are seeing. American can’t involve itself in Israel’s war and at the same time the same people are bleating about American can’t stop involving itself in Europes war in Ukraine.
Excuse me, “the same people”?! We are talking about Thomas Massie, remember. When has he ever had a good word to say about our involvement in the Ukraine?
As I understand Massie, he seems to subscribe the Kitty Genevese school of foreign policy. Anything that happens beyond our borders is none of our business.
Yes Millhouse, they are all the same uniparty people. wE caNT hElP isRaeL but wE mUSt nEvER sTop hELpiNg uKRAine!
Mailman, if you call Massie a “uniparty” person who supports giving one cent to the Ukraine, you’re simply out of your freaking mind. And you’re completely out of line suggesting that Iran is paying him off.
I have my own issues with Massie; I am find it hard to avoid the conclusion that he’s an antisemite. I hope I’m wrong, because other than that he’s excellent.
And what you’re accusing him of is just wrong. You owe him an apology.
It’s now or never. If the Iranian people do overthrow Khamenei, then I especially look forward to the “morality” police getting what they deserve.
I’m wishing for some Haman Hanging.
Houthis. Israel. Ukraine. Hamas. L.A. Russia. Iran…
Has any one checked in on Nork’s rocketman? With all this bombing and warring going on, I bet he has the sadz because no one invited him.
He’s still sulking after his new boat capsized.
No! Not the HMS Lollipop!
Well, that’s not entirely true. He was invited to play in the Ukraine war,
From Reza Pahlavi’s mouth to God’s ear. So far, though, none of the population seems interested, regrettably, in revolting against the mad Mullahs. Also, I have strong doubts about democracy in Iran. There are almost no Islamic countries that are real democracies. Also, Iran is an ancient civilization (Persia by another name) and it has never had anything remotely resembling a democracy and not even under the Shah. Why should we expect the future to be any different from the past and the present?
Pretty tough to rise up when essentially unarmed.
But there are people alive in that country who remember a time when they were freer. Hopefully, that will be enough.
This photo looks wicked young to be the same guy who fled Iran in the Carter admin. Is this really his son?
Son or grandson. The Shah was already dying of some ailment of some sort when he flew out.
Yes, it’s the son, born 1960.
I have strong doubts about democracy in the United States – and the party named after it.
When people encourage democracy, I always wonder why they recommend a short-lived form of government which our Founders were too wise to adopt.
“And to the Republic for which it stands.”
The U.S. Is Both a Republic and a Democracy
They refloated and relaunched that ship; but he’s hopefully outfitting it as his getaway craft.
The Ayatollah Islamists never had majority support.
Why make democracy the only good or right answer?
A proper monarchy might make Iran a pretty decent country. It has risks, but [points to Joey Biden] so does “democracy,” really.
the ayatolloh contacted nancy pelosi who sent him directly to hakkem who huddled up with omar and the squad to try and gain a foothold on whats the next move
they probably told him to get ready to come in through the southern border as soon as they re-install their dictator via their ranked choice voting techniques
The Israelis have taken out the torture chambers and political prisoner camp. The mullahs are all in a bit of a tizzy. Not knowing what to do. The people of Iran have been oppressed by this theocracy for 46 years. The young (20-35) are desperate for freedom. They are the ones, male and female, who have born the brunt of imprisonment, torture and hangings. The last card the mullahs have is nuclear. If they fire one into Israel then the State of Israel will burn Tehran and Qom to the ground via nukes. If they do the same thing to America..well the radioactive fallout will contaminate Iran for over 100 years. That 12th Imam will never appear. Because the well will be a radioactive hole in the ground. You can’t hate the mullahs enough.
I’m certain there is a boomer in the IO that could vaporize all major Iranian cities within an hour. I don’t want that or advocate that but some people might forget that terrible fact.
If the Iranians do decide to stage a revolution and rejoin the world, it is very important to KEPP FOGGY BOTTOM AWAY FROM THEM.
Rubio isn’t enough to counteract their long standing tendency to destroy democracy and freedom.
I’ll believe it when I see it!
Boy would it be great to get a look inside the Iranian books to see where money has been going in and out that country. I’m sure there are a lot of nervous people in the world right now.
Regime Fall Schedule:
Earliest: This weekend.
Likely: Before July 1
Late: September.
They would not take it this far only to stop short. This is the FO for decades of FA.
The fact that Iranians were not in the stone age before this makes regime change likely the best and only time in history it has worked. Mostly because the US is not in charge of it and can’t eff it up. There is a government in exile that can step in.
The world with a peaceful and productive Iran will be a wonderful place.
Have a nice summer… Stay sweet!
Trump has reached back to the founders in his willingness to swash tariffs…
perhaps a few letters of marque would be just the ticket right now.
I hope he thanked Israel in his speech and urged his people to reach out to the Israelis.
He could thank Israel when he is king, before that he should be talking to his people.
You give thanks after a victory not before.
