Authorities arrested Anthony Labrador, 24, on felony forgery charges for allegedly posing as a 16-year-old to enroll at an Ohio high school.
Labrador is a Venezuelan national who had Temporary Protected Status (TPS). From KBTX:
The school said when he enrolled, he provided an Ohio’s Driver’s License, a social security number, a temporary protective status from the U.S. Immigration Department and had submitted a completed an application for a VISA.
Labrador contacted the school in November 2023, claiming to be trafficked from Venezuela and now living in Perrysburg. He said he was hoping to be enrolled in the school district.
He claimed his birthday was Dec. 2, 2007. In January 2024, he provided what he claimed to be a Venezuelan birth certificate and started attending the school.
Police reports said a local family was contacted about Labrador while he was completing the enrollment process, as they had housed exchange students in the past. They agreed to help Labrador, and he moved into their home in March 2024.
Two months later, the family was granted temporary guardianship over Labrador. In November 2024, they were granted permanent guardianship. They helped him get a social security number and an Ohio driver’s license, officials said.
Perrysburg police said on May 14, 2025, the mother of Labrador’s child reached out to his guardians to disclose he was actually a 24-year-old father, not a teenager. She sent the guardians photos and documents as proof, including an Ohio license under the name Anthony Emmanuel Labrador Sierra with a birthday of March 27, 2001.
Holy moly.
How…how professional were those documents that they would deceive the Wood County Juvenile Court? Or better yet…how much effort did the court exert to verify those documents?
Labrador pleaded not guilty in a Wood County Court on May 20. He’s held in jail on a $50,000 bond.
The judge ordered no contact between Labrador, the school, and the family who took him in.
If Labrador posts bond, the court would slap him with an ankle monitor and orders to stay away from the school and family by two miles.
ICE asked the court to notify the agency if Labrador gets out.
DHS told Fox News that Labrador overstayed his visa after he came to America in 2019.

Why not? If a boy can decide he is a girl, why can’t a 24 year old decide zhe is a 16 year old?
Or vice versa — let a 14 year old girl declare that she’s now a 24 year old. Nothing wrong could possibly happen, correct?
Aw, he was just trying to improve himself! 🩸❤️
And at least he didn’t say he was trans. He probably should have. No questions would have been asked and half the country (and district court justices) would support him attempt to better him/her/it./whatever self.
Unbelievable. This of course invites questions about potential victims; this idiot didn’t enroll in high school to brush op on AP Calculus. He was there to find teenage girls. Also, why is an illegal alien allowed to post bond on felony charges?
He wasn’t. The judge set bond, ICE posted a retainer, and that kid wasn’t getting out even if he paid twice the bond.
24 sure as hell is not a kid.
I understand that. But, my point is anyone in this country illegally who’s been arrested on felony charges should be foreclosed from bail of any amount because of the nature of their underlying offense: they’re in the country illegally.
Why did Willy Horton rob banks? You go where the action is.
Thurber “I Went to Sullivant” whose 7th-8th grade baseball team had a lot of excellent players from the 4th-5th grade who had been kept back owing to having to learn long division, and were now 22 years old. They beat everybody.
Labrador is obviously of
mixed breed
part human
mostly scum
As another commenter says, this sure seems like it was a ploy to put himself in close proximity to minor girls….or boys, if that haircut of of his is any indication. He was there for almost the entire school year. I hope local/state/federal authorities are looking closely at his social ‘activities’ while he was in that school. This is a really troubling story but potentially a horrific story.
I find it hard to believe it wasnt discovered earlier. There is huge difference in body built, facial hair, social maturity, behavioral characteristics, etc from age 16 to age 20 and even more to age 24.
I imagine nobody wanted to ask any questions for fear of being labeled RAYCISS.
Huh??
This reminds me of the story from Springfield, Ohio, and how they were just handing out drivers licenses to Haitians, most of whom didn’t even know what a car was, just to have Haitians causing chaos on the roads and accidents all over the place. But the drivers licenses kept going out to Haitian illegals as if the state was obligated.
For illegals, nothing was ever checked and no one in government ever cared about anything. The people behind these policies are dangerous criminals who really need to be properly punished for what they have been doing and the awesome amount of crimes they have been committing against this nation and people.
A local Toledo (Perrysburg is a suburb of Toledo) channel has this really interesting story up on its website that’s worth a read.
What is the McKinney-Vento Act, and how did it play a role in the Perrysburg High School case?
https://www.wtol.com/article/news/local/mckinney-vento-law-perrysburg-high-school-enrollment/512-9ab3d51a-e824-4c11-a5a6-4348c3fa1027
The tl;dr is the illegal was able to enroll quickly because a federal law requires that public schools quickly enroll students even if their identifying documents can’t be verified…or even if they’re not available. It’s a recipe for disaster.
I read the act – the policy part of section B. It doesn’t seem to say that. It only directs state agencies and legislatures to change laws in order to facilitate access to “free” public schooling (LOL) for homeless children without papers/residency evidence/etc. and that the feral government will help pay for it (which is probably where the problem comes in). I would not doubt, though, that the Ohio legislature went hog-wild on making sure that illegals aren’t questioned about anything for any such government services … and I would bet that the school district, itself, was happy to oblige with everything.
Ohio seems to have some special, treasonous obsession with giving aid and comfort to every illegal alien they can find.
Do get the full picture of how a bill is put into actual law, you have to read the relevant US Code. In this instance, it’s 42 USC 11432(g)(3).
“The school selected in accordance with this paragraph shall immediately enroll the homeless child or youth, even if the child or youth-
(I) is unable to produce records normally required for enrollment, such as previous academic records, records of immunization and other required health records, proof of residency, or other documentation
This man fallaciously claimed he was ‘homeless,’ and as soon as that happened, the school’s hands were tied (initially). Still, there was nothing in the statute that prevented the school from verifying the man’s identity before 6 or 7-months had passed. I understand their intent; they’re trying to protect legitimately homeless US children. But, the language is written in a way that doesn’t give them any flexibility at all. I bet this has happened before and it will certainly happen again unless Congress corrects that statutory law.
Enrolling in high school? At least he has demonstrated some initiative.
So … the illegal has TWO Ohio drivers licenses under slightly different names and different birth dates … where are the many charges that that fraud should have brought up? How many times did the illegal need to lie on official forms to get those two different licenses? Is it not illegal to have to two different license in Ohio, under two different names, under two different ages?? Where are the charges for that, and all that entailed?
They caught him, good. The taxpayers of that district should not have to pay for his education, nor for the education of the school-age illegal alien children that they have to pay for because of Plyler v. Doe.
Still, what he tried to do was not terrible. He wanted to go to school and get an education, and unless extra sections had to be added or more teachers hired because he was there, he didn’t cost much. I think restraining orders are a bit much. Just withdraw him from the school and, if he’s deportable, deport him.
