Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Halts Muslim EPIC City Due to Investigations
“The state of Texas has launched about a half dozen investigations into this project” while the DOJ investigates possible civil rights violations.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) announced he stopped all construction of the Muslim EPIC City in North Texas due to state and DOJ investigations.
Abbott wrote on X:
Texas has halted any construction of EPIC City.
There is no construction taking place.
The state of Texas has launched about a half dozen investigations into this project.
That includes criminal investigations.
And, the US Department of justice is also investigating.
This matter, and similar matters, are taken very seriously, and actions are being taken to address all concerns.

The EPIC City is the brainchild of the East Plano Islamic Center. From KERA News:
The 402-acre development would be in unincorporated Collin and Hunt counties roughly 40 miles northeast of Dallas near the city of Josephine, and would include a new mosque, more than 1,000 single and multi-family homes, a K-12 faith-based school, senior housing, an outreach center, commercial developments, sports facilities, and a community college.
In an interview in December, Yasir Qadhi, a resident scholar at the Plano mosque, said the idea for EPIC City came as the Muslim population continues to grow in the region.
“We need more space, and there are people coming from across the country,” Qadhi said. “Dallas is now known to be a hub of people of our faith, coming not just to the city, but specifically to our mosque.”
The first 450 plots sold out within days of its announcements on the mosque’s website, Qadhi said.
Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) demanded that the DOJ investigate the city for possible First and Fourteenth Amendment violations by preventing those of other faiths from living there.
Community Capital Partners claimed the community would be for “people of every background, faith, and culture” who “can live together in harmony.”
The company admitted, though, that “Islam will be at the center of the development.”
Texas has opened five investigations into the EPIC City:
- Texas Workforce Commission is investigating EPIC and affiliated entities for potential discrimination in violation of the Texas Fair Housing Act
- Texas State Securities Board is investigating EPIC and affiliated entities for potential financial harm to Texans
- Texas Funeral Service Commission sent a cease-and-desist letter ordering EPIC to immediately stop all illegal funeral service operations
- Attorney General of Texas is investigating EPIC and affiliated entities for potential violations of Texas consumer protection laws
- Texas Rangers investigate for possible criminal activities

Do not let this go through under any circumstances. Remember, Islam allows Muslims to lie to non-Muslims @anytime, anywhere, under any circumstances. They do and will no matter what is signed or documented.
They only accept Sharia Law.
We should start applying Sharia law to these Muslim cretions. This development would turn into a no go zone.
from copilot:
In Islam, the concept of **taqiyya** refers to the practice of concealing one’s beliefs or intentions, primarily to protect oneself from harm or persecution [1](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taqiyya). This practice is more commonly associated with Shia Muslims, who historically faced significant persecution [1](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taqiyya). However, it’s important to note that taqiyya is not a blanket permission to lie; it is generally restricted to situations where one’s life or property is at risk [1](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taqiyya).
Islamic teachings emphasize honesty and truthfulness as fundamental values. Lying is considered a major sin, but there are specific instances where it may be permitted if it serves a greater purpose or prevents greater harm [2](https://islamqa.org/hanafi/askimam/81140/cases-in-which-lying-is-permitted-2/). These exceptions are rare and typically involve situations of extreme necessity.
If you have any more questions about Islamic practices or beliefs, feel free to ask!
The problem is that whole “there are exceptions to this fundamental vice” thing. It’s what happens when you build a religion around an end goal and invent doctrine to fulfill said end goal as you’re going.
And, of course, since some Middle Eastern agency probably bought all that land, their property IS “at risk.” So, yep, they gonna lie if it helps.
Because we all know how reliable Wikipedia is, and, of course Muslims who tell us they would never lie to us.
Islam teaches that lying is OK if it promotes or defends Islam.
From Grok (emphasis mine):
Some (Islamic) scholars emphasize that taqiyya is a temporary measure for self-preservation, while others view it as a more general dispensation to deceive in the interest of Islam.
Critics sometimes accuse Muslims of using taqiyya to justify lying and deception for political or personal gain, while proponents argue that it’s a necessary tool for self-preservation and the protection of the faith.
Lovely to o ow Dallas area is the epic center of Islam
Will Cain had a report on today’s show about a smaller development (I think in Michigan, but am not certain). He had video of three Muslims doing a podcast on the development. I believe at least one of the men is involved in the project. They explained that they’re going to keep Christians out by earmarking a significant chunk of the annual home owner’s dues to the local Mosque with the man then pointing out that Christians aren’t going to want to live somewhere that funds mosques…and then they had a laugh. Wut?
Not a lawyer, but I can’t believe that’s not a violation of 1A and redlining laws. Whatever the, it’s perfectly illustrative of the dangers of Muslim; they’re not hear to assimilate. They’re hear to conquer. It’s been that way for 1K-years.
HERE…to conquer.
It’s a cult. And it doesn’t play well with others. And can, at times, be downright unpleasant toward others.
It’s been that way for 1K-years.
1400 years. But you’re right.
How is this different from Palmtree NY, or New Square NY?
Circle City, Arizona!
Except that development tanked, then was reborn as general low-to mid-cost housing.
The synagogue at the entrance is now just a big house with unwieldy industrial kitchen facilities. The mosaic menorah on the outside wall was long ago disguised as an odd-looking saguaro.
The Workmen’s Circle is not a religious organization. In fact I’m surprised it even had a synagogue. Historically it was a socialist/communist organization, and was hostile to religion.
It wasn’t a “religious organization,” but all its members were Jews.
Like the Shen Yun dance group, whose members are all Falun Gong.
Circle City was a retirement community for its members, so of course they included a synagogue in the pans,
They also included a pool though none of them were Baptists.
Do they prevent anyone else from moving in? Do they use public funds to support their synagogues? If so then there is no difference as far as I’m concerned.
No public funds are used for religious purposes. But the same would certainly be true in EPIC. HOA fees are a different matter; a HOA is a private entity and is entitled to use its funds, including its compulsory fees, for anything it likes.
Likewise, no local law forbids outsiders from moving in, but religious law forbids existing homeowners from selling or renting to outsiders. Since all existing homeowners care about and follow religious law, outsiders won’t find anyone willing to sell or rent to them.
Religious beliefs can’t be used to discriminate in housing. That ship sailed a long time ago.
From https://www.hum.wa.gov/fair-housing/creed-housing:
Although the Fair Housing Act does not define religion, a housing provider cannot discriminate based on a “faith/belief system.”
This.
First of all the Fair Housing Act doesn’t apply to the private sale of individual homes.
Second, any religious person, of any religion, will obviously obey religious law even when it violates civil law. That’s obvious; God’s law, whatever you believe it to be, must always override men’s law. So anyone who believes he is morally obligated to give preference to members of his own community over strangers will do so regardless of what the state has to say about it. And the state will never know.
One can also set up a religious organization to own housing and make it available only to members.
The major difference appears to be submission to the laws of the US, the state, and the locale.
Again, they claim they will do so, but it’s unlikely they will over time.
Well done Gov Abbott
We don’t need any mini Gazas in Texas, or anywhere in the U.S.
Just wait a while, the Dems will champion this development and assume their 20% position on another loser.
How did it get this far without alarm or oversight?
Alarms were ringing on this development two years ago.
This seems to be the minimum time for any government entity to find out and start to do something about any problem at all, save the ones they are busily false-flagging themselves.
Gee, maybe COVID was made in a lab. Gee, maybe Hunter’s laptop is genuine.
Gee, maybe Joe Biden is a brain-dead meat puppet (four years for that one).
Islam is a cancer, incompatible with western values, freedoms and norms.
The black flag of islam flies over dallas?
Dallas Cowboys to change their name to:
Dallas Ghazi
wonder if Gh is the same as the letter “n” ???
Nice start, now how about getting busy investigating that Colony Ridge place that has about 50,000 illegals living in that slum.
