Report: Human Smuggler Admitted He Hired Abrego Garcia to Traffic Illegal Aliens
He “claimed to have hired him on multiple occasions to transport undocumented migrants from Texas to various locations in the United States.”

The Department of Justice started investigating a 2022 Tennessee traffic stop with Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
A few weeks ago, The Tennessee Star discovered the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) detained Abrego Garcia on suspicion of human trafficking in December 2022.
THP contacted the FBI.
The FBI told the THP to release Abrego Garcia and the passengers, which it did.
ABC News reported that the DOJ spoke to a prisoner in Alabama about possible connections to Abrego Garcia:
The inmate, Jose Ramon Hernandez-Reyes, 38, was the registered owner of a vehicle driven by Abrego Garcia when he was stopped by the Tennessee Highway Patrol in late 2022, according to the sources. Abrego Garcia was pulled over for speeding in a vehicle with eight passengers and told police they’d been working construction in Missouri.
Federal agents investigating the Tennessee incident appeared late last month at the Federal Correctional Institution in Talladega, Alabama, to question Hernandez-Reyes, who had an attorney present and was granted limited immunity, sources familiar with the interview said.
Hernandez-Reyes told investigators that he previously operated a “taxi service” based in Baltimore. He claimed to have met Abrego Garcia around 2015 and claimed to have hired him on multiple occasions to transport undocumented migrants from Texas to various locations in the United States, the sources told ABC News. The frequency and time frame of the alleged trips was not immediately clear.
The Democrats and the left have chosen Abrego Garcia as their chosen one to protest President Donald Trump’s strict immigration rules.
Abrego Garcia is an alleged MS-13 gang member. Many have unearthed numerous domestic violence allegations against him by his wife, who has been crying that he is a loving husband and father.

And the rabbit hole just keeps getting deeper
They don’t care
Popping more popcorn.
The one of a thousand sob story the left has picked turned out to be a chimera in several defined ways… 1] a thing that is hoped or wished for but in fact is illusory or impossible to achieve: a sad tale of Trump’s cruel deportation against the legal system’s protections.
2] (in Greek mythology) a fire-breathing female monster with a lion’s head, a goat’s body, and a serpent’s tail. Mr Garcia has turned out to be quite a monster instead of the “Maryland Dad”… Human smuggler, wife beater, gang leader, etc
Ah… so his big crime turns out to be human trafficking on behalf of the Biden Administration.
Sanctioned but still illegal. However, by the time bottom-up prosecutions like this have any effect, the actual Swamp perps will be long interred.
Instead, Trump should skip a few dozen street levels and start with the FBI weenies who protected this treason.
“Let him go, he’s breaking the law for us.”
It’s Fast and Furious, all over again.
For deportation purposes, it doesn’t matter.
His illegal entry into the country is all the justification we need.
This never ending effort to prove him to be a criminal could very well lead us into a trap where illegal alien status alone is insufficient to proceed with deportation efforts.
That trap is waiting for us anyway, once we get the bulk of the certified criminals handled. The strategy is only to get as many of the low-hanging fruit deported before we absolutely have to open that can of hurt.
Step up enforcement actions at the workplace and tighten up (enforce current law) on benefits. If an illegal Alien has no work permit and no access to govt benefits they gonna have to figure out how to get out of the USA. Go after the employers who violate federal law to hire illegal Aliens, use civil asset forfeiture, max fines and prison sentences.
Lots of these folks will end up leaving voluntarily. when they run out options. Speaking of options…. let’s leave room for the wokiesta leftists to exercise an option to sponsor an illegal Alien in their own home by taking full financial and civil liability for that illegal Alien while they pursue misguided claims against their removal. This way any sob story raised up is immediately countered with ‘why don’t you sponsor them’. Same respose.applies to self serving claims about ‘America is a wealthy, generous Nation that can afford X’ to point out that charity is an individual decision not one for the govt to make.
I would be interested to hear from any LI readers from TN. Is it standard that when police pull someone over for speeding and that person neither has his DL nor proof of insurance and is driving a car titled in someone else’s name, to allow that person to continue on their merry way? In my state, if you’re driving w/o a license and without proof of insurance, you’re going to jail and your car is being impounded.
I suppose when DHS orders them to release the human trafficker and his cargo, they stand down.
FBI: “Do not detain this man, you’re impeding a federal investigation.”
And the swamp wins again.
This is something to bring TO COURT IN APPEAL OR REFILING THE CASE
For the love of god do you honestly want the next Democratic president to round up everyone Trump pardoned for Jan 6th and argue that because it is insurrection every judge ruling they are breaking the law is out of line and ignore them?
Bring him back, ask for remand and send his case to a judge and win.
This is enough undermining the judiciary.
Danny,
The Judiciary hasn’t issued any order to bring this guy back the USA….primarily b/c the Judiciary doesn’t have the authority to make such an order to the Executive.
The only folks ‘undermining the Judiciary’ are the District Judges attempting to exceed their authority who keep getting rebuked by a few Circuits and SCOTUS…. as the District Judge in this case was. Remember that SCOTUS told him to clarify his order and define what exactly he wanted the Executive to do while keeping inside the bounds of Judicial authority and taking care not to trample upon Executive power/authority. So far as.I am aware he has yet to do that.
What exactly do want the Admin to do? The guy is in a foreign Nation. How do you want the Admin to proceeds here? Send in a Delta Force team to break into the prison and bring him back? The CT can’t order the Admin to do that nor can it order them to demand his release. The only thing the CT can do is order the Admin to cooperate with El Salvador if the gov’t of El Salvador seeks to send him back. The gov’t of El Salvador hasn’t done that.
For the lvoe of god stop arguing that somehow ignoring a judicial rulling and doing as you wish is something other than deying the courts and undermining the very structure of our legal system.
In 2019 this man argued in court against his deportation. The court agreed and ruled he could not be deported to El Salvador.
Instead of appealing the decision or filling a new case with the evidence the judge determined was lacking that man was deported anyway.
The court has absolute authority and by the NINE ZERO was the ruling in the supreme court for bringing him back.
For the love of god stop justifying ignoring a court order.
The courts have jurisdiction in these cases.
The man made claims concerning his deportation in court as was his right.
This fight in the court of public opinion instead of a law court is at absolute best a disgrace.
You are disgracing yourself by defending it.
The next Democratic president is watching and taking notes and will not see a difference between this and ignoring a ruling he doesn’t like.
The price of having a strong judiciary WHICH DID keep the Biden Administration in check is that we have to abide by it when we are in power it is that simple.
“For my own benefit I give the devil benefit of law”-Sir Thomas More. If he could give the devil benefit of law you could give Mr. Garcia benefit of law which literally consists of a week in an American prison followed by a judge determining he could be deported if these trial by media things are even remotely true.
Serves no purpose whatsoever. Nothing to exonerate. Those seeking to go through these silly motions are the ones abusing the system. There is no justice in the foolish things you obsess over. Being afraid of what might happen is strange when it has already happened and will again no matter what.
Danny,
1. The first ruling you refer to was an Art II immigration CT not an Art III re not depart to El Salvador.
2. The basis of the ruling was his claim of ‘credible fear’ from a rival criminal gang in El Salvador.
3. That claim is moot. Two reasons, first the rival gang no longer exists. He ain’t on the streets he’s in custody of the Gov’t of El Salvador.
More importantly he is a member of a terrorist organization. He wasn’t deported via normal procedures. He was removed under AEA authority with Executive Branch exercising powers of Foreign Policy/National Security.
Finally SCOTUS did NOT rule 9-0 that the Admin must repatriate him to the USA. They ruled that the District Judge must clarify the order and specify what actions the CT seeks the Admin to do with two key caveats:
1. Stay within the bounds of Judicial authority
2. Not trample on Executive Branch authority
The Judiciary has very little to zero authority in matters of the Executive Branch exercising its inherent powers over National Security and Foreign Policy.
A ‘strong judiciary’ doesn’t have the power you ascribe to it nor has any CT explicitly ordered the return of this guy from El Salvador. They can’t b/c they don’t have that power to order the Executive in this manner. The wokiesta Judges, their lefty
law fare plaintiffs and media allies are using a clever but disingenuous framing to trick the gullible into believing there’s a CT order to ‘bring him back’ when no such order exists.
No, it wasn’t. SCOTUS voted 9-0 to uphold the part of the order that said to “facilitate” his return. The administration says it will do that; if he shows up at the border it will allow him in, and arrest him.
The other part of the order was to “effectuate” it, and SCOTUS voted 9-0 to ask the district court what exactly it meant by that word, because SCOTUS doesn’t know, so obviously the administration doesn’t know either.
The plain fact is that the administration can’t “bring him back”. He’s outside its jurisdiction. It could ask for his return, but it doesn’t want to, and SCOTUS reminded the district court that it has no authority to order it to do that.
Pretty much the only definition of “effectuate” I can think of, that would remain within the court’s jurisdiction, would be that it means if El Salvador releases him and he wants a plane ticket back, the administration must provide him with one. That would be within the bounds SCOTUS set.
JFC. Go away.
Just for your information you are a fucking asshole and I hope you learn what the fuck our legal system means.
It does not mean you get to defy judges you fucking asshole go straight to fucking hell.
Assholes like you are responsible for all of the horrors of world history like the second world war.
Go the fuck to hell. All the down you fucking asshole.
You can’t refute a single god damned thing I said there because it is all true.
When we are in a dictatorship because the courts are powerless I hope you are fucking happy that you decided to be among a handful of internet assholes.
Once you finish wiping all the spit off your monitor, I’d suggest you go soak your head, you legally-illiterate troll.
You could probably use the cooldown.
Here’s hoping you get all the karma your rage-addled screeds earn.
Are you really that obtuse?
You do understand that in 2019 a court ordered this man could not be deported to El Salvador and that court order was ignored right?
You do understand there is no difference in that and the next Democrat president ignoring court orders?
So he was deported to El Salvador erroneously and the ONLY reason he was permitted relief from removal is gone. In the interim, there is additional compelling evidence to support removal.
You do not understand the concept of harmless error, so wedded to ridiculous procedure. This is not like an innocent is wrongfully denied. You can point to nothing whatsoever that another hearing would change.
You, not to mention the judge throwing his weight, are living on a different planet with ill conceived noble intentions that draw attention from the overall reality.
This is exactly what will happen. Trump has decided to govern by executive orders, not through democratically passed laws. So every single one of his executive orders will be reversed by the next Democrat President.
But the next 12-20 years are going to be glorious!
Trump is in the 30s for approval of handling the economy.
The economy is suffering because of direct action by Trump which does not translate to Republican victories (Republicans are down 4 in the generic congressional ballots right now).
With a functioning judiciary we do not have to worry about our constitutional rights so losing congressional elections followed by the presidency isn’t a problem.
However you supporting being able to ignore courts when you don’t get your own way is paving the way towards the age when America is no different than France and a loss at the ballot box is everything.
Stop it.
Our constitution is worth a hell of a lot more than Mr. Garcia. He won his case in 2019 which means to deport him to El Salvador would mean appealing and why the SUPREME COURT ordered in a NINE ZERO decision for him to be brought back.
Keeping him in prison for a week then legally deporting him…………..
The internet is full of assholes on both sides. Pre-internet what you would find is that the approval for ignoring a court is zero percent and a politician would not look at alternative ways to spin it otherwise.
“The internet is full of assholes on both sides.”
You’ve certainly got the Lefty side covered.
The words of fool pretending to be a prognosticator. Or did Trump tell you what he decided? While you are at it, oh soothsayer, why not name the next Democratic president that will reverse every single executive order, just like Biden reversed the China tariffs, eh?
He is struggling with a Republican senator right now. I support some of what he is doing but when it comes to weakening the judiciary I am a hell no like a vast majority of people.
The internet is becoming a major curse to society.
We have a judiciary that it interfering with the Executive branch at a quantum level, with nearly every action of the Trump administration being blocked by some random low-level pissant judge. The American people want illegals gone. So yeah, weaken the goddamned judiciary.
Hey, he was just taking a job Americans didn’t want.
I have not heard much from the judge. Sounds like they put the case on pause?
How about kneecapping gang members before deportation? That would end their usefulness to a gang.
But, you know, “Maryland man”. 🙄
lefty:
seee
he’s a hard working maryland dad
This is really a losing argument.
Deporting most of Maryland would greatly improve America anyway.
It will be ironic when the DOJ asks for him to be extradited to stand trial and El Salvador refuses because he hasn’t completed his sentence…
Plus, they don’t want to lose the pilgrimage revenue.
Loosely related immigration update:
Besieged German government suddenly closes its borders (AfD wins).
My the democrats please keep digging the hole their in deeper!
