ICE Arrests Illegal Alien Who Received No Jail Time for Killing Woman in Car Crash

ICE arrested the minor and his family since they resided here illegally.

ICE arrested the 15-year-old unlicensed illegal alien who received probation instead of jail time for killing a Colorado woman in a car crash.

The car crash happened in Aurora, CO, last July. The minor slammed into Kaitlyn Weaver, 45, going over 90 mph in a 45 mph zone.

The minor took part in a race with other minors. Oh, he also had kids in the car with him.

He hit Weaver as she sat at a stop sign.

ICE arrested the minor and his family since they resided here illegally.

ICE told Fox News:

“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested a 16-year-old criminal alien from Colombia May 20 in Aurora, Colorado. The minor, who was convicted of reckless driving resulting in death was arrested along with his family who are also illegal aliens.

The minor was convicted in Colorado’s 18th Judicial district and was sentence to probation and community service. As part of its routine operations, ICE arrests aliens who commit crimes and other individuals who have violated our nation’s immigration laws. All aliens in violation of U.S. immigration law may be subject to arrest, detention and, if found removable by final order, removal from the United States, regardless of nationality.”

The Arapahoe District Attorney’s Office has come under fire after it gave the minor probation instead of the usual two-year jail sentence for vehicular homicide.

The office promised Weaver’s family that the minor would receive a jail sentence.

Well, District Attorney Amy Padden offered the teen two years’ probation if he pleaded guilty.

Arapahoe County Assistant District Attorney Ryan Brackle had the nerve to say that “the negotiated sentence acknowledges the seriousness of this preventable tragedy.”

This is the way.

Lock the little kunt up…and the khunts who allowed him to walk! If you cant hate Democrats enough…they find new ways to help you hate them more!

Deport them all.

In addition to the fact that this kid is an illegal alien, I might point out that penalties for vehicular homicide are an absolute joke. Anyone who has had the unfortunate occasion to see the carnage of a fatal automobile collision knows that cars are hard and people are soft. Two years? I could do that standing on my head. It should be 10x that. And to think that the state restores driving privileges? A person convicted of MVH should *never* be allowed to drive again, ever.

It depends. There is a difference between being at fault and gross negligence. Something like this is gross negligence and deserves a long prison sentence.

For example: If you cut someone off and a death results I don’t think that deserves a 20 year sentence.

If you were “reckless driving” you should. That means you were (supposedly) driving without regard for others – gross negligence.

And, I was going to note the word “usual” in this, but Peter beat me to it:
the usual two-year jail sentence for vehicular homicide
That word is where the problem lies.

I think I made it clear that gross negligence, or reckless driving as you put it, deserves a long prison sentence. I am making a distinction between gross negligence and simple fault. Most accidents do not involve gross negligence.

Drunk (repeat offender) who got my brother got 10 years, did 6. Yeah, punishment really fit the effing crime.

      Five classes of homicide:

      1. Criminal
      2. Negligent
      3. Accidental
      4. Justifiable
      5. Commendable

Just as a side note:

Do you think there was any insurance on the car he was driving?

If the car was insured, the insurance policy controls.

The purpose of the policy is to protect the car’s owner from any financial loss.

Absent special circumstances, a car owner is not responsible for damages caused by the thieve.

Therefore, I suspect the victim’s family will not be able to benefit from the policy.

Was there anything about this car being stolen? I didn’t see it in this post (or any other bit I’ve read about this incident).
      Just asking.

As this individual is allegedly an unlicensed driver, the insurance company would pay $0.00. However, if the car was stolen, the owner should be able to recover, depending on the policy terms.

That’s why obtaining uninsured motorists coverage is so important. It must be a big problem (likely exacerbated by growth of illegal alien drivers) because recently its cost equals or exceeds our premiums for liability coverage in the same amount. Another instance of the law abiding bearing the costs of irresponsible people.

Deport the soft hearted fucks who went easy on him in the first place.

Scorched earth on these people. We need a society back

the left having the ability to keep the criminals id secret is something that must change

The illegal that killed the Wa State Patrol trooper in a car crash is about to walk free thanks to Washington’s love for criminals and illegals.

15 year old unlicensed illegal alien

How do they know his age for sure?

Perhaps it showed up in his indictment as proof that he was not only unlicensed, but unlicensable.

A couple of weeks ago a 24-year-old Venezuelan man was arrested for pretending to be a 16-year-old high school student in Ohio.

It is just another example of the immunity that hostile foreign invaders have been granted by Leftist officials for any deaths, injuries, or torts committed against American citizens.

Now, the feds should be prosecuting the DA and judge involved for being accessories after the fact and aiding and abetting an illegal invader.

It is INSANE what the left lets illegals get away with. It is, in fact, criminal. It’s about time that some of these leftists who are orchestrating a mass assault on Americans by illegals are held accountable.

Aurora should be boycotted. Everytown with a permissive Soros DA should be boycotted and it should be advertised far and wide why it is being boycotted. This includes NYC and it’s cretin for DA, Bragg.

I remember this case. The mother, who owned the car, didn’t get into trouble either, because the kid “stole” the car. Apparently, no one was responsible. Damn woman had her nerve sitting at that stop sign.
