For First Time in Rasmussen’s Polling History, 50 Percent of the Country Says America is on Right Track
“Never thought I would see it. I don’t think the Republican Party understands the gravity of the gift which Trump has given them. Unprecedented presidency.”

Rasmussen Reports announced this week that 50% of the country believes America is on the right track. This was a milestone as it is the first time in history that their polling has found the number to be that high.
Mark Mitchell of Rasmussen commented on Twitter/X:
Holy crap – it happened!
🔥For the first time in our polling history A MAJORITY says the country is on the right track🔥
Don't F it up, Republicans.

Paul Bedard followed up at the Washington Examiner:
Never before: 50% say America is on the ‘right track’ @Rasmussen_Poll
Public has faith in Trump tariff agenda, rejecting media nags: consumer confidence up

More details from the Washington Examiner:
History made: 50% say America is on the ‘right track’
People are more satisfied with the direction of the country than at any point in recent history, the latest feather in President Donald Trump‘s hat.
On the edge of majority support for weeks, the latest Rasmussen Reports “right track/wrong track” average shared with Secrets has hit 50% on Tuesday and shows no sign of pulling back.
And Rasmussen pollster Mark Mitchell told Secrets, “Never thought I would see it. I don’t think the Republican Party understands the gravity of the gift which Trump has given them. Unprecedented presidency.”…
Overall, 50% believe the country is on the right track while 45% don’t. Republicans overwhelmingly agree that things are good, at 75%, while most Democrats don’t, at 65%, demonstrating the stark division in the country over politics and Trump.
Rasmussen also said that Trump has a 52% approval rating, and that’s high for the president.
In seemingly related news, according to CNBC, consumer confidence in May is higher than expected:
Consumer confidence for May was much stronger than expected on optimism for trade deals
Consumer optimism got a much-needed boost in May on hopes for trade peace between the U.S. and China, according to a survey Tuesday.
The Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence Index leaped to 98.0, a 12.3-point increase from April and much better than the Dow Jones consensus estimate for 86.0.
Much of the positive sentiment, according to board officials, came from developments in the U.S.-China trade impasse, most notably President Donald Trump’s halting of the most severe tariffs on May 12.
“The rebound was already visible before the May 12 US-China trade deal but gained momentum afterwards,” said Stephanie Guichard, the Conference Board’s senior economist for global indicators.

If you only paid attention to liberal cable outlets like CNN and MSNBC, you would be unlikely to know any of this positive news. They inhabit an alternate reality that advances a constant narrative of gloom and doom.

People are easily swayed, we haven’t begun moving in the right direction, merely slowed down in the wrong.
That still counts for a lot, given how long things have been bad.
Vector acceleration.
Given this is the first time in Rassy’s polling history that this number has EVER been achieved this would be the exact opposite of what you’re claiming.
Factor in the hatred from the leftist media and I think you can understand just how unprecedented this actually is.
I think a fatigue factor plays into the polling.
The American population still has common sense.
better than it not being a good high positive as america certainly is under the siege of the left so any good news is sure
to make lefty even more apparent in their violence prone minds to act out which will then give maga one more chance to show any non omar loving dems that voting maga is for their well being too
The swamps line is failing.
“Don’t F it up, Republicans.”
50%+ approval in one hand, reduced personal RINO graft in the other…?
It all depends on how you define “F it up.”
They did just increase national debt projections by $8 trillion over 10 years
How long have they been polling and have they changed their polls. Their results sound good but it all depends on how consistent their polling has been and how for long. Also what’s the error factor.
FYI: At some level polling is always self-selected. I always decline to be polled. If lot’s of people do then that affects the results.
Rasmussen is one of the best at predicting election outcomes.
That’s the bottom line.
The last inflation report has it lower than any month Biden was in office. But the Federal Reserve and GOP big spenders aren’t helping with that.
Rasmussen has always been a conservative, pro=Trump polling organization. They are just as much pro-Trump as Gallup and legacy media polls are anti-Trump. Rasmussen has been questioned for its methodology and for an apparent bias toward the Republican Party. In 2024, 538 dropped Rasmussen from its polling averages and analysis, saying Rasmussen failed to meet 538’s standards for pollsters.
“The midterm elections might be more than a year away, but a new Rasmussen poll shows that a razor-thin plurality of voters currently favors Democrat House candidates over Republican ones.
If elections for Congress were held today, 45% of likely U.S. voters say they would choose the Democrat candidate, while 44% say they would choose the Republican, according to the survey.”

You were saying? Of course, if you were doing a poll, your TDS would bleed through.
“In 2024, 538 dropped Rasmussen from its polling averages and analysis, saying Rasmussen failed to meet 538’s standards for pollsters.
Shut up, you idiot. 538 was shut down two weeks ago. As soon as ABC bought it in they started going downhill. No one cares what they did in 2024, including Nate Silver.
Whenever you writ something even remotely cogent, it’s plagiarism.
Wow, no kidding. Word for word. Way to catch ole Junior out.
You’d think an Iowa lawyer would know better than to plagiarize.
But since he’s actually lying about being a lawyer, it’s not surprising he’s guilty of plagiarism.

Regarding that “polling”:
“Rasmussen has been questioned for its methodology and for an apparent bias toward the Republican Party. In 2024, 538 dropped Rasmussen from its polling averages and analysis, saying Rasmussen failed to meet 538’s standards for pollsters.” [Washington Post]”
Actually, it’s the first time polled Americans think the country is on the right track.
If polls weren’t such a big deal, statistical sampling might still mean something. But they are such a big part of the media mindset, I doubt much of their validity anymore.
Is your thesis that they have been propagandized by the “pro-Trump media?” 🤣
If not, what is it?
When oh get a leader, not a title holder, it matters. We have a leader in Trump. Ow, Congress and SCOTUS ought to pay attention, maybe grow up. The American people were right to elect Trump
You would think that with this high of a poll rating about the future that federal judges would see it to. They are doing their best to stop any chance of improvement or success for our country. Hating Trump is one thing but hurting our country is totally different.
Right track with tariffs….LAFFRIOT!!!
1) THE MORON doesn’t appear understand tariffs
2) He demonstrates that by changing his ‘policy’ every 5 minutes.
And remember. 3 frauds, sexual assault, libel, 34 felony counts.
“I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. … Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.”
That must be frustrating for a kid who can’t even get his momma’s Maine Coon to sit in his lap.
