Crime in AOC’s District Surges to More Than Double the Average for Rest of NYC
“She’s not doing s–t. She doesn’t live in the neighborhood, she doesn’t care”
Just a few days ago, it was reported that people who live in Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s district are tired of seeing her run around the country with Bernie Sanders while she does nothing for them.
Now it is being reported that crime in AOC’s district is surging, and is even more than double the average rate for the rest of the city. At what point do her constituents finally reach their limit?

Major crime rose by an eye-popping 70% in Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Bronx and Queens district since the ‘defund the police’ socialist lawmaker took office in 2019 — more than double the citywide increase of 30% over that same span, a Post analysis of NYPD data shows.
The 110th Precinct in Queens, which covers part of the infamous “Market of Sweethearts” human-trafficking and prostitution mecca on Roosevelt Avenue, saw a 105% surge, the highest increase of any NYC precinct in that period.
Major crimes consist of murder, rape, robbery, felony assault, burglary, grand larceny and auto theft.
The 115th Precinct, which also serves part of Roosevelt Avenue in addition to Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst, and north Corona, saw major offenses rise by 85%.
The other four precincts in her Queens-Bronx congressional district similarly saw major-crime increases higher than the citywide average.
Some residents blamed the increasingly lawlessness squarely on the no-show lawmaker.
“She’s not doing s–t. She doesn’t live in the neighborhood, she doesn’t care,” vented Elmhurst resident Guadelupe Alvarez, who has lived in the 110th Precinct her whole life and is one of several constituents who ripped the jet-setting absentee “Squad” member for letting the district turn to “trash” while she focuses on elevating herself on the national stage.
In related news, it was just reported that officials in AOC’s district shut down a brothel that was located near two schools. People involved in the operation noted that they did this without any support from AOC.

A well-known local brothel near two schools in Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s red-light district has been shut down by the NYPD after months of advocacy by local leaders who say the progressive lawmaker did nothing to help them close it.
Nicknamed the “bodega brothel” by locals, the establishment was operating on the second floor of a local bodega just off the Roosevelt Avenue strip in Queens, where prostitutes are known for openly soliciting sex on sidewalks, local Democratic district leader Hiram Monserrate told Fox News Digital.
Video from inside the brothel reveals five cramped, makeshift rooms divided by wooden panels and shower curtains, each just large enough to hold a bed.
The bodega is located across the street from two public schools, and students have been forced to walk past the sex workers outside the brothel on their way to and from class for months. An hour before Ocasio-Cortez’s town hall earlier this month, Fox News Digital observed children walking by with their parents as three women stood outside.
What AOC has done with her House seat is straight out of the Elizabeth Warren playbook. She used a local position as nothing more than a springboard to launch herself as a national figure who focuses on national issues.
The trouble with this is that the people you were elected to represent eventually notice it.

There is a real simple solution to punish AOC, vote her out of office.

Well if her constituents experience enough pain then maybe they can learn enough to at least get a replacement d/prog?
Meet the new congresswoman, same as the old Congress woman.
In general political ideology? Sure, but not necessarily in regard to basic govt services and working to assist local gov’t to secure additional Federal funding and support.for law enforcement.

Bet you a buck. If they’ve voted for her in the past, they’ll do it again. They’re intentionally stupid and will do as they are told.
And know what? I’m OK with that. They get what they deserve.
They voted for her a couple of times now. If they want her out then more than the frothing at the mouth activists who vote her in have to show up.
I’m wondering what AOC has to do with a brothel. Local law enforcement is not her job as a Congresswoman. What was she supposed to do to help?

Answer: Never
She can stay they rep for life except she has loftier goals. They will always vote dem.
BTW: How is rep supposed to aid getting rid of a brothel? She has no police powers. Her support for the district can only really be financial by pulling in fed dollars or getting a large company such as Oh, I don’t amazon to locate a facility there.
There is nothning ANY congressman can do directly about that sort of thing. Maybe some pressure phone calls to local politicians and police chiefs, but nothing that has anything behind it.
She could, I don’t know….Maybe put some pressure on the police to do something? Except she’s anti-police, Defund Barbie and it would look bad to her progressive ideologues to talk to the “Pigs”, so you’re probably right.
What could she really do?

Then check out the demographics, income, food stamp usage, ancestry and national origin. No surprises. Third World, low IQ, low income, high food stamp usage. In short major dependency on on government transfer payments. As long as the largesse keeps flowing her district will vote Democratic like the rest of NYC.
New York Jews ( I was once one) vote like the 14th but in no way does the 14th data describe them. Quite the opposite. Go figure.
I frequently find myself embarrassed by progressive Jews. They don’t even have to be from NY.
That is a culture and a mindset I from which I walked decades ago. It is not just the voting habits. It is the pessimism, the endless worrying and handwringing, and working up scenes in their heads over this or that.
A friend since age 13 decided to end his friendship with me because I was showing no compassion toward people he worried about but didn’t even know, slated to lose jobs over government research funding cuts. He was offended by my not joining his “shiva sitting”. I explained to him that people lose jobs all the time, and then find new ones if they are worth a hoot at what they do. Endless, endless handwringing.
To others, I call this now-former friend “Excel”. Why? Because he can take ANY situation and “what if..!” it to death. What does a spreadsheet allow one to do? It allows one to “what if I changed this, to this“.

This district elected and re-elected a manifestly dim-witted, shrill, lazy, stupid and self-serving narcissist as its Congressional representative.
If they are dissatisfied with Occasional-Cortex’s representation, they could vote her out of office and choose someone else. Pointedly, they’ve thus far failed to do that. Her constituents deserve zero sympathy.
DeMS-13 loves crime; they encourage it, enable it, profit off it, promising to end it, and interfere with legal prohibitions to it.

I’d bet that only a few of her constituents could name her, much less be intelligent enough to realise how bad she is for them and finally vote her out.

Exactly *how* does AOC’s behavior affect local crime rates?
Are people so eager to dish or dump on her that they blame her for something she has no responsibility for? Don’t local officials and police have the largest responsibility for apprehending local criminals committing what are typically state or local crimes?
Don’t misunderstand me. I despise AOC for her apparent lack of interest in representing her constituents. But this article is bullsquirt.
