Chicago Resident Confronts Mayor Johnson: ‘Why are You a Racist?’
Mayor Johnson is a despicable human being.
A Chicago resident tore into Mayor Brandon Johnson a day after the DOJ announced an investigation into his hiring practices.
The mayor admitted he hires black people more than anyone.
The interaction took place at a city council meeting:
RESIDENT: Real Chicagoans woke up this morning relieved that the Department of Justice is finally investigating your race hustle. As someone who grew up on the south side of Chicago, I’ve heard a lot of race hustlers in my life, trust me. But they were usually marching around outside of city hall, which is what makes this so embarrassing and dangerous, very, very dangerous to the city of Chicago.
MODERATOR: Okay, we need the question.
RESIDENT: I’m more than happy to ask this question. It’s long overdue for over a year, real Chicagoans, white and black, have been telling me that your black power rhetoric is bringing the city backwards from a place that we have overcome.
MODERATOR: We need the question.
RESIDENT: You want the question?
MODERATOR: Please.
RESIDENT: Real Chicagoans want to know why are you a racist?
JOHNSON: Well, first of all, I reject the idea and the premise that somehow that’s an actual legitimate question.
MODERATOR: All right, we’re going to go to the next one. Alice…
RESIDENT: The next question, my follow up question is a businessman, Robert Gomez, had his riverfront restaurant license yanked. You said that the reason you hire black people is because they’re the most generous race on the planet. His riverfront restaurant license was yanked and given to a black restauranteur that seems to has once again reinforced the belief among real Chicagoans, white and black, that you are a racist. What do you say to those people?
JOHNSON: Again, I reject the idea and the premise that somehow that’s an actual legitimate question.

Johnson said the other day:
“There are some detractors that will push back on me and say, you know, ‘The only thing the mayor talks about is the hiring of black people.’ No – what I’m saying is, when you hire our people, we always look out for everybody else,” Johnson, who is black, told the predominantly black congregation at the Apostolic Church of God in Woodlawn on Sunday.
“We are the most generous people on the planet. I don’t know too many cultures that have play cousins, that’s how generous we are. We just make somebody a family member. That’s just how we are,” he went on.
Again, I repeat what I said in my previous post, he doesn’t know many Italians, does he? I lost count of the number of “aunts,” “uncles,” and “cousins” I have who are not blood related.
Johnson not only hires black people but also gives black business owners city contracts. Bowa Construction received a YUGE one to work on O’Hare Airport.
In October 2023, Breitbart News reported that Johnson pushed city authorities to issue fewer parking tickets to black residents.

My son lives near a Dallas area that is majority black (I will not capitalize black). He worked as security at an Asian owned seafood restaurant. There were many blacks who would walk out on their bill. He would stop them and ask them to return and pay. If they caused problems he would call the police. A few were thus encouraged to pay their bills. Others got a trip to the police station. The management somehow got pictures of them that they posted in the entrance as persona non grata. It is interesting that all of the pictures were of black people; there were no Mexicans, White people or other races/ethnicites.

That just proves how racist the owners are. They must have let off all the hundreds of non-black thieves that they must surely have encountered, and only posted the black ones.

There are probably many people, white, Hispanic, and Asian who wished black people were more like dark matter – very weakly interacting with the matter surrounding it.
I was going more along the lines of “matter for whose existence we have no direct evidence at all, but we know it exists because it has to”.
Why are you so obtuse? 6% of the population commits 47% of all crime in the US. That being black men. Why would you assume that if there are a lot of black thieves stealing from the seafood store, there must be many times more white/Asian thieves? The FBI data doesn’t show that.

That’s unpossible. If 6% of the population commits 47 of all reported crime, the only possible explanation is that 87.25% of crime goes unreported. Just like dark matter; see above.
You have no idea if that is the case. All we know is that the majority of the population in that area is black and all of the posted pictures are of black deadbeats. Don’t assume someone is a racist because you don’t like the make up of thievery.
Unpossible, I tell you. Unpossible. The distribution of crime must match the diversity of the community. It’s a law of physics. If the statistics say otherwise then the statistics are racist, a result of the institutional racism that we know exists everywhere, even if you can’t see it, like neutrinos. To make the numbers add up there must be a lot of unreported crime, all of it by white people; we must posit all these white criminals because the mathematics tell us they have to exist. Perhaps they are virtual criminals, like virtual particles, or perhaps they exist in another dimension.

Don’t go there. This was perpetuated by Johnson. The destruction of the nuclear family in the black community is the main cause. Baby mama’s with 4 or 5 kids all fathered by different baby daddy’s who don’t stick around is the root cause. Add to that Planned Parenthood that aborts black babies at a higher rate than all other’s combined. Then the left’s BLM entitlement.
100% correct on LBJ. IMO without the ultra high black abortion rate, we would have had a lot more problems and, with a lot more Black voters, Trump certainly would not have beaten Hillary.
Johnson might have begun it with his Great Society, but it has been perpetuated by the black elites, especially the congressional black caucus, who have maintained their positions at the top of their community on the backs and expensive of their fellow black citizens. In this they have been aided and abetted by the black grifters, and in many cases but not all the black clergy. Of course, we also have to recognize white progressives who steeped in their own racism are committed to lifting the black race up in the full belief they are incapable of achieving anything by themselves.

I grew up poor white and was last by 6 years in the last 50s. When each of us graduated HS our folks showed us the door to find life. My Sis was 8 years older, went to college working her way through college. My Brother was 6 years older and went to Vietnam via the Army.
When I graduated I found a job with the phone company to pay for college. I was working on a multiracial crew in the Black Slums of South Los Angeles. I grew up in a town that was equal on White, Mexican, and Asian and we had no racism. When I got in the Black Slums there was heavy racism by Blacks and attacks against all people. The Blacks were shooting their own and at least once a week there was a killing. My Black supervisor was shot and all in my crew were attacked over 4 years.
I grew up in Berkeley CA and grammar school had almost zero blacks. When I graduated from 6th grade we sang black civil rights songs. In 7th grade half of the school was black and they were racist and made white kids lives hell. I had a fight or two every week, just because I was white. MLK was murdered that year and the blacks used his death as an excuse to attack white kids. I was in music class and the blind teacher asked me to get the VP to stop it. Do I ran over to him and he sent a black kid to the fight. As I ran back to class I noticed there black girls positioning themselves in my way and the kicked me as I ran past. When I got to the building 30 blacks jumped in front of me so I turned and sped off with them in pursuit. The only stopped when I reached a male teacher.
At times I think back to this event and wish I had stopped, pulled a knife and did some damage to those scum. If you can say that Southern Whites where racist then blacks are racists.
