El Salvador Denies Democrats a Visit With Kilmar Abrego Garcia

“But we got word at the embassy that our request has been denied by the government here locally. They say it’s because we’re not here on an official capacity.”

Reps. Maxwell Frost (D-FL), Robert Garcia (D-CA), Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ, and Maxine Dexter (D-OR) traveled to El Salvador to visit alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego-Garcia.

Frost told MSNBC that El Salvador denied them a visit because it was not an official trip:

Well, we’re actually about to do a press conference to speak a little bit about this. But we got word at the embassy that our request has been denied by the government here locally. They say it’s because we’re not here on an official capacity.

This is part of the reason why representative Robert Garcia and I sent a letter to Chairman Comer of the Oversight Committee asking for this to be an official trip but we’re not giving up. We’re going to continue. We have more meetings scheduled for the rest of the day.

But part of this, too, is making sure that we keep the conversation alive. We’re building off of the trip of Senator Van Hollan and we’re not the first members.

Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer explained to Fox News why he did not approve of the trip:

Well, I had two members of the House Oversight Committee, Garcia from California and Frost from Florida, and they sat there silent during the entire Biden investigation, during the entire investigation of border patrol and Mayorkas that we had in the Oversight Committee. If anything, they were obstructive. They weren’t concerned. They showed no concern for the lack of our national security or the violation of our southern border security laws.

But then this one person that the liberal media picked up on that was deported to El Salvador, they went crazy before it came out that he was actually an MS-13 gang member and they wanted me to authorize funding at my committee’s expense to send them down to El Salvador and meet with this person for a photo op and to have margaritas and enjoy the sunny weather.

And I obviously denied the request. We’re not going to spend a penny of taxpayer dollars for liberal Democrats to continue their stunts to try to appease the radical left wing base when the American people spoke loud and clear on Election Day. They want our southern border secured, and they want criminal illegals deported.

Abrego-Garcia’s wife accused him of domestic abuse a few times. The Tennessee Patrol suspected him of human trafficking. Officials had enough evidence to call him an MS-13 member.

I also guess we know that taxpayers paid for Sen. Chris Hollen (D-MD) visit to El Salvador where he met Abrego-Garcia and had margaritas.

Kill-More Abrego Garcia has the rank of chequeo in MS-13, and in order to achieve that rank, he had to have killed somebody. The weapon of choice for MS-13 is a machete, because of the brutality it conveys. If you want to see validation of this, go to your favorite search engine and enter the keywords “ms-13 machete” and read through all the crimes that reflect this fact. Yes, sometimes they will beat a person to death with a bat or a rock or stab someone repeatedly with a knife, but the point is that their murders are intended to terrorize.

So, why are the Democrats are expending their political capital on this particular fight? I had thought that Van Hollen must be coming up for reelection and he didn’t want to get primaried, but he’s not up until 2029. The only other explanation that I can figure is that he has presidential asperations, and the radicals are going to be choosing the next nominee. Outside of that, maybe the Democrat donor class is refusing to pledge campaign money unless they pursue this. People will do strange things for money, and the main sources of funding (NGOs) are drying up.

I think it would be helpful to know who is pulling the strings and making the puppets take actions that are so clearly non-sensical. If one didn’t know any better, you’d think that it’s an inside job to destroy the Democrat Party.

The President of El Salvador is a boss

Why didn’t they threaten El Salvador for cooperating with Trump? That would show El Salvador that U.S. woke Dems really mean business!

They should build a high speed rail to El Salvador so all democrats can go twice a month to visit MS-13 prisoners.

…to visit Maryland man, DC man, Virginia man, Massachussetts man, California man, Colorado man, Michigan man, NY man, etc etc etc.

It would have to be built from CA since they are the experts on it.

I have a modest proposal. Let us trade the four Democrat Congressmen for Kilmar Abrego-Garcia.

The vile, stupid and evil Dhimmi-crats are such repugnant and oafish clowns.

Their prized constituencies are now illegal alien thugs; murderers; goose-stepping, genocidal Islamofascists/Muslim supremacists; and, misogynistic, narcissistic and often terroristic trannies.

What a wretched Party.

If the Speaker and House Majority Leader were competent (hah!), they’d schedule a couple of big votes this week in the House just to watch these four scurry back home to vote.

This would require the House to be in session, which as we know…

Jeez, what did these Dem knuckleheads expect? I’m sure Bukele rolled his eyes at their request and said, “Yeah, just what we need: more gringo Democrat filibusteros trying to throw their weight around.”

I’m no Kilmar Garcia fan, but can someone explain why my understanding of this case is wrong?

In his original “due process” hearing he was granted “Withholding of Removal” meaning he couldn’t be sent to El Salvador.

Subsequently, Trump designated MS-13 a FTO. If he is a member of an FTO the “Withholding of Removal” ruling is essentially vacated and he can in fact be deported to El Salvador.

However, in my (admittedly limited) research, it appears that the subsequent FTO designation would allow him to request a new hearing to determine his affiliation with the group.

Now given the standard of proof is so low and I have no doubt he would be found to have the affiliation aside, it does appear he should be afforded the due process of the new hearing.

I wonder how many cousins of van Hollen served in the Dutch Volunteer Legion? Im sure many , and hopefully none came home.
