Man Ignites Himself While Torching Teslas to “Protest” Elon Musk

Man Ignites Himself While Torching Teslas to “Protest” Elon Musk

Even more karma: Optimus robot vandals arrested in London, MSNBC mocked for equating terrorism with “protests”, and searchers for how to buy Teslas are surging!

We have been covering reports of Teslas and their owners being targeted in “protests,” which involve vandalizing the cars and intimidating the owners.

In late February, an Oregon dealership was hit by gunfire. And protesters who look like aging hipsters from the 1960s have been protesting at dealerships, urging potential buyers not to buy a “swasticar” because it will make Musk, who they say is a coup-staging “Nazi,” richer and more powerful.

Now the karma cycle is beginning to play out. For starters, a man set fire to himself as well as three Tesla charging stations in a parking lot near an outlet mall in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Before setting the fire, the man spray-painted the phrase “long live the Ukraine” along with profanity directed at President Donald Trump on pavement near the chargers. He then ignited Molotov cocktails and threw them at the charging stations.

Then, karma came.

While doing so he caught the clothes on his back on fire, then ran from the parking lot, witnesses told police.

No arrests have been made, North Charleston Police spokesperson Harve Jacobs said Tuesday. The agency turned the investigation over to the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Investigators collected the beer bottles while firefighters cut the power to the chargers and put out the blaze.

Meanwhile, “Just Stop Oil” is back in the news. This time, they are dumping orange latex paint on an Optimus robot in a Tesla showroom in London. They shouted about swasti-cars, too.

They were arrested.

The protesters poured liquid latex over an Optimus robot at the Westfield Tesla store on Wednesday, demanding the UK government phase out fossil fuel burning by 2030, the protest group said.

Retired teacher Catherine Rennie Nash, 74, and retired tax advisor Nigel Fleming, 63, climbed onto a podium at around 10.15am and poured the liquid over the life-sized robot.

In a clip shared by Just Stop Oil Mr Fleming is heard saying: “While the rich dream of Nazi robots and swasti-cars, what the the rest of us need is warm housing, clean affordable energy and cheap public transport. Shut down the fascists.”

I will simply point out that aging hippies may now be the only protesters available, as the funding has been cut off that would provide for younger and more attractive paid protesters.

In response to the continuing attacks in this country, Trump has declared that the vandalism and violence will be deemed “domestic terrorism“.

Domestic terrorism is what President Trump now says he will label violence against Tesla dealerships or any others.

In a show of support, the president bought a red Tesla while standing by the CEO and Department of Government Efficiency head Elon Musk.

The move comes after Tesla’s plummeting stock prices and blowback from “Tesla Takedown” protests across the country calling out mass layoffs and spending cuts.

MSNBC was unhappy with Trump using the FBI’s definition of “domestic terrorism” against the Tesla vandals and violence-mongers, and decided to reclassify them as “protests”. They were mocked.

And, as a reminder, torching cars and shooting at dealerships does meet the definition of domestic terrorism, per the Patriot Act.

The final karma update: There is a surge in people seeking to buy Teslas. While I had not planned to, and likely won’t, many Americans are showing their support for Tesla’s Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency team.

The best part: This is likely to be the start of the karmic cycle for what was done to Americans during the last 4 years by government officials, bureaucrats, NGOs, and climate cultists.

Yeah. That’s a firey tantrum. I’ll take my terrorists well done, the fat juicy crisp.

Oh, and for those young budding terrorists, when you are on fire, Stop -Drop, and Roll. Do not run.

No, no, no. Young ones, ignore AF_Chief_Master_Sgt. He means well, but he is mistaken in this instance.

For you young, budding terrorists in training: When you are on fire, PLEASE run as fast as you can in a left-hand direction, 10 foot circle, so that your dizzying prowess at persuasion may show your dedication to the cause and be an inspiration to your fellow leftists.

Remember how we all here at LI were adamantly against electric vehicles? Hundreds of posts here against them. But now that Musk is part of the Trump administration, electric vehicles (Tesla) are all OK. Who could have predicted that?

And once again the Leftist Troll tries and fails to equate two things that are barely tangentially related to each other.

Let me school you there, junior: We don’t object to electric vehicles in and of themselves (you idiot). We object to THE MANDATE FROM THE GOVERNMENT that we must and can only have the OPTION OF buying an electric vehicle, imposed on us by government regulation of the manufacturers (you stupid, leftist troll).

If someone wants to buy a Tesla because it fits their needs, or they even want to make a statement (be that “I’M A GREENIE WEENIE that wants to reduce my carbon footprint” OR “I’m supporting someone that is expending Treasure, Blood, and Sacred Honor trying to right the ship that is the United States before it sinks under the mass of its own bureaucracy”) IS NOT RELEVANT to our prior objections.

Want to try and fail again, junior?

“Remember how we all here at LI were adamantly against electric vehicles?”

Who is this mythical “we” you’re referring to, Junior?
Whatever it might be, it certainly didn’t contain “you.”
And it DEFINITELY didn’t contain “everyone else.”
So, as usual, you’re full of sh*t.

Well, trollboy? Where’s your proof of that? Post a link showing that “we all here at LI were adamantly against electric vehicles.” Where are the “hundreds of posts here against them?” I know your usual style is to post some trolling comment and then run off, but it’s about time you prove at least some of your bullshit.

Nah. It’s a luxury. Musk is going to choose SpaceX over Tesla soon. Because of one simple truth:

You can have electric cars or you can have AI but you can’t have both. They take too much energy so it’s one or the other. Anyone doubt which way Musk will go?

Adults are not very smart in England. A “retired school teacher and retired tax advisor” said “… what the the rest of us need is warm housing, clean affordable energy and cheap public transport” while demanding the end to fossil fuels by 2030. How, exactly, do these brainiacs square that circle?

Sn idiot congressman from MA (where else) Seth Moulton apparently has also equated violence against Telsa with acceptable protest. Perhaps if his car were vandalized and his house torched he might think differently.

Very ironic that the wokiesta loons used an incendiary partly composed of fossil fuel to set fire to the one EV brand that seems to function mostly as advertised.

It’s a good thing irony isn’t toxic.

“…as the funding has been cut off that would provide for younger and more attractive paid protesters.”

Well said. This is the proper context of all leftists tantrums going forward.

Today, people ugly in body and soul hire younger, healthier, and often better-looking specimens to protest AND to hold office, all on their behalf and at their direction. And they run the world.

Today? These types of shenanigans have been going on for Millennia. Every story you’ve ever heard that included a character that was “[trusted, close adviser] that was the power behind the throne….”

They’ve ALWAYS run the world from the shadows. We only know about them when either they REALLY screw up, the goals of “the figurehead” suddenly no longer align with the adviser’s, or the Figurehead suddenly dies from something unrelated and a diametrically opposed party manages to install themselves or their own figurehead, and then discredit the prior ruler and their advisers.

They’re definitely not sending their best and brightest.

‘So much of left-wing thought is a kind of playing with fire by people who don’t even know that fire is hot.’ -George Orwell

I don’t think Orwell meant that literally, but it seems to also be literally true.

what the the rest of us need is warm housing
Wait, you want warm? If global warmening happens you’ll have a warm house – without use of electricity or fossil fuels. So… what are you protesting again?

Great about the Just Stop Oil morons (I’m British). They have virtually no support anywhere.

Most people knew it was politics not about climate change ; so they’re attacking one of the premier manufacturers of EV …. won’t this increase oil usage.

If you want to see just how dumb they are this is the person they appointed as a spokesperson being interviewed on Breakfast TV.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KaRdaA2MiU

The man in the suit is an ex Politician turned TV presenter. The man on the right is the alternative view ; he is adopting the policy of if the enemy is destroying itself, don’t interrupt them.

They didn’t win themselves any supporters by blocking ambulances and defacing the most famous painting in the world, that’s for sure.

-Attempting- (and failing) to deface. They actually did no damage, because the keepers of that PARTICULAR painting are… very diligent, about their security features exactly because it is the most famous painting in the world.
