Trump Defunds UNRWA, Withdraws U.S. From UN Human Rights Council
Good. I don’t want the Hamas-infested UNRWA to get our money.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order to defund the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) and remove the U.S. Human Rights Council.
It’s not hyperbole to say that UNRWA is a part of Hamas.
From the video:
WILL SCHARF, ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT AND WHITE HOUSE STAFF SECRETARY: In light of numerous actions taken by a number of bodies of the United Nations, which exhibited deep anti American bias, we have an executive order prepared for your attention that would withdraw the United States from the UN Human Rights Council, would withdraw the United States from the UNWRA, which is a refugee organization and would also review American involvement in UNESCO, which has also exhibited anti-American bias more generally. The executive order calls for a review of American involvement and funding in the UN in light of the wild disparities in levels of funding.
TRUMP: So I’ve always felt that the UN has tremendous potential. It’s not living up to that potential right now. It really isn’t. Hasn’t for a long time. There are great hopes for it. But it’s not being well run, to be honest, and they’re not doing the job. A lot of these conflicts that we’re working on, should be settled or at least we should have some help in settling them. We never seem to get help. That should be the primary purpose of the UN, the United Nations. And again, it’s got great potential. And based on the potential, we’ll continue to go along with it, but they got to get their act together.
REPORTER: What would they need to do to get their act together?
TRUMP: Well, you got to be fair to countries that deserve fairness. Some countries, as you know, that are outliers, that are very bad, and they’re being almost preferred as countries to those that do their job and are doing a good job, and they have to really…they’re going to end up losing a lot of countries. They’re going to end up losing their credibility like other organizations, and then they’re going to be nothing.
The potential of the United Nations, and not everybody agrees with me on this, the potential of the United nations is fantastic if properly run. So we’ll see what happens.
REPORTER: How much money are you willing to take away from them?
TRUMP: Well, we’re taking away a little bit, but we’re not looking to take away money. This is so important that we’re really, as you know, the United Nations is largely funded by us and it shouldn’t be. It should be funded by everybody. But we’re disproportionate as we always seem to be. But it’s something that if it ever lived up to the potential right now, does it have that power?

The United Nations has a habit of putting awful countries on the Human Rights Council and Women’s Rights councils. Countries like Iran, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, and Cuba should not have seats on those councils.
The United Nations has an anti-American attitude, but it despises Israel. You could probably smell the antisemitism in the UN building.
Vijeta has always done a great job reporting on the UN abuses, especially towards Israel.

UNRWA is a terrorist organization and if things were honest, they would be so named. They were (maybe still are) holding Israeli hostages taken on 10/7 and that was not disclosed to Israel until those hostages were released in the current ridiculous swap.
A terrible swap that Trump should never have pushed for, unless there are some much better moving parts to the deal yet to be revealed.
I think the whole UN system is tilted toward bad players
It makes the leaning tower of pizza look straight as an arrow.
Boy, elections sure do have consequences right!!
Not sure what we should do with all this winning!! 😂😂
The UN has had a lot to time to develop their potential, and they have failed miserably. but not about the UN. It is loaded with users and losers and it has made itself a big part of the problem.
The problem with the UN is that an organization that was set up to be nothing more than a debating society has delusions of a destiny as a global government.
Not really. It was set up in the aftermath of WW2 with a lofty goal. After Germany decided to take a shot for a second time at world domination it was constructed to not only get the world involved in rebuilding but to try and provide a forum where problems could be solved before they got started. Unfortunately, this was never something that was going to happen.
More of this
More winning and I don’t know about anyone else but I’m not even beginning to feel fatigued yet
Awesome! Trump is killing it!
He is wrong about one thing, though, the UN has no great potential. There is no decent argument for the existence of an entity like the UN. It is a monster. The idea of a peerless, competitionless empowered should scare anyone who hears about it, as it is guaranteed to grow in grotesque and dangerous ways. This is the story of the UN.
The only way anything like the UN should be able to exist would be if it had no power, at all – as was true during the Cold War. One of the worst and dumbest moves in human history was when the Cold War ended, the Soviet Union collapsed and George Bush Sr. took the moment to actually empower the UN. That was one of the most retarded and dangerous acts of all time.
Good, but not far enough.
The US out of the UN and the UN out of the US.
They’re a joke of a corrupt organization that spend 90% of their time whining and passing ‘resolutions’ against Israel. They do absolutely NOTHING of value to us or any free nation in the world, and it’s long past time we stopped pretending otherwise.
You beat me to the punch.
I wish he had the guts to do whatever it takes to get us out of the UN. Whether it is a legislative responsibility or whatever it is, get it done or at least try.
Strikes me as a make-work agency for educated individuals from developing countries. Their own economies have nothing for them, so they go to New York or Geneva.
Is everyone enjoying their free trial of Trump 2.0 carpet bombing the left’s idols?
Everyday is Christmas now.
