Netanyahu: Military to Resume ‘Intensive Fighting’ if Hamas Fails to Release All Hostages by Noon Saturday

Prime Minister Netanyahu: The “ceasefire will be terminated and the IDF will return to intense fighting until Hamas is finally defeated.”

A day after President Donald Trump issued an ultimatum to Hamas for the release of hostages, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on the Gaza-based terror group to free all Israeli captives by noon Saturday or face a renewed military operation in Gaza.

“If Hamas does not return our hostages by noon on Saturday, the ceasefire will end, and the IDF will resume intense fighting until Hamas is decisively defeated,” Prime Minister Netanyahu said following a cabinet meeting Tuesday.

The Israeli prime minister-led security cabinet decided unanimously to back President Trump’s ultimatum to Hamas that “all hell is going to break out” if the terrorist group did not release all hostages languishing in its captivity since October 7, 2023.

“The political-security cabinet met Tuesday for four hours for a discussion following Hamas’ announcement that it would “suspend the release of hostages,” and against the backdrop of U.S. President Donald Trump’s advice to resume fighting if “all the hostages” are not released by Saturday at noon,” the Israeli news website YNET reported.

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement later Tuesday evening on the Israeli position following developments in the negotiations on the deal and the fear that the current crisis will lead to its collapse,” YNET added.

Hamas continues to hold 73 Israeli hostages — including women, elderly, and children — half of whom are thought to have been murdered or tortured to death by their Palestinian captors.

The “ceasefire will be terminated and the IDF will return to intense fighting until Hamas is finally defeated,” Prime Minister Netanyahu said, speaking in Hebrew:

IDF calls up reservists as Hamas halts hostage release

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) bolstered the country’s southern military commands and called up reservists following Hamas’ refusal to go ahead with the hostage deal.

“In accordance with the situational assessment and the decision to raise the level of readiness in the Southern Command, it was decided to increase reinforcements with additional troops, including reservists,” the IDF said in a press release Tuesday evening local time.

“The reinforcements of troops and mobilization of reservists are being carried out in preparation for various scenarios,” the IDF statement added.

And all those “prisoners” recently released should enjoy their last days on this planet ahead of that assault by the IDF.

Hamas needs to read the writing on the wall as the world, thanks to them, is a changed place.

Iran is no longer able to supply them financially or militarily and Hesbollah has been throughly castrated by rogue pagers 😂

Noon in Tel Aviv will be 5 AM in Washington and Noo Yuck.
.

They should have given all those prisoners brand new phones as a parting gift before sending them on their way.

    Gps tracking chips.

Think along the lines of the Hezbollah pagers Mossad discreetly modified.

I’ve said for a long time now that when they give prisoners back, they should anesthetize them, make small incisions and sew them back up – just enough the sutures are evident if you look for them.
Then, you let a rumor out that trackers have been implanted in them. Play it up with the kind of fantastical stuff these people love to believe.
Then, you follow one prisoner very closely and blow him and the entire terror cell up when he meets with one.

The terrorists go frantic trying to find these trackers inside their people. Hilarity ensues.

And this time, the gloves will be off

The remaining hostages are probably all dead – which is why they aren’t being released. Just obliterate/evaporate/nuke Gaza. The world will thank you.

    (first sentence) I think it likely you may be correct – or their bodies may show signs of such severe torture that they may be too embarrassed to release them;
    we’ll certainly find out in less than four days;
we may also have a chance to see the EU’s response – as well as that of the UN.

“Just obliterate/evaporate/nuke Gaza.”

If you’re a false-flag troll who posted that to make Trump supporters look bad, you’re doing a great job.

Actually, I think the majority of Trump supporters agree with this.

Nukes are a bit much. However, an escalating and sustained bombardment until an enforceable unconditional surrender is offered by Hamas? Sure.

Your solution would be my preferred one. I agree that nukes are a bit much. If nothing else, I wouldn’t want Israel to have to deal with the literal fallout from nukes used that close.

I’ve been thinking Dresden 2.0 but given the prevailing winds, the dry winter, and the extreme danger hear from any type of wildfires, I’m beginning to rethink that option.

Nukes will also impact the resale value.

Not necessary. Just impose a total siege on the territory, as some Israeli ministers announced would happen on Oct-7-2023, but which Netanyahu vetoed immediately. Until all the hostages are released nothing comes in: no food, no water, no electricity, no medical supplies, nothing. If that means the entire population starves to death, that’s their decision. They can stop it at any time by releasing the hostages.

Had Netanyahu approved this, the problem would have been over, one way or the other, within two weeks, and almost 1000 murdered soldiers would still be alive.

“If you’re a false-flag troll who posted that to make Trump supporters look bad, you’re doing a great job.”

If you’re a smooth-brained idiot who posted that to make yourself look bad, you’re doing a great job.

    FIFY.

Good. This is as it should have been, from day one, without the despicable interference, hindrance and moral/financial/food succor that the evil and stupid European, leftist dhimmis and American Dhimmi-crats have given to the goose-stepping, genocidal Fakestinian terrorist thugs.

All out, embrace collateral damage. Make Pales understand real terror.

There is a huge build-up of Egyptian forces south of Gaza… I don’t think they want to take in Palestinians

iconotastic in reply to geronl. | February 11, 2025 at 11:48 pm

They are Egyptian Arabs in Gaza anyway. So no so-called Palestinians will be sent across the border.

ahad haamoratsim in reply to geronl. | February 12, 2025 at 11:28 am

Egypt makes too much money from cross border smuggling of people, weapons and consumer goods to give it up without a fight.

I envision the NYT, Washington Post, ABC, NBC, and CBS already have the headlines written that blame Trump and BiBi for the mass murder of Palestinian civilians, regardless of whether it’s true or not. Depending on how IDF goes about it, collateral damage is a certainty.

What ever happens and who ever remains the reality is, those that do stay need to be THOROUGHLY denazified like the Germans and de-imperialised like the Japanese after WWII…and look how everything turned out for Germany and Japan.

Which means there is no role for the UN as they are a big part of the problem.

In fact the entire Palestinian culture needs radical “denazification” to bring them in to the 21st century.

Prayer for the Well-Being of the Israel Defense Forces
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob — may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Forces, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our God, from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.

May the Almighty cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighters from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.

May He lead our enemies under our soldiers’ sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is the Lord your God, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.

Prayer For Hostages:

May THE ONE who blessed our ancestors Abraham, Isaac and Ja-
cob; Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, and Leach; bless, preserve and pro-
tect the captives and missing soldiers of the citizens of Israel and
the Israel Defense Forces.
May God rescue them from captivity and speedily restore them in
peace, in the merit of the prayers of this holy congregation who
pray for them.
May the Holy One, Blessed Be God, show them mercy, increase
their strength, remove their pain and send them a recovery of
body and spirit; may God return them to the bosom of their fami-
lies swiftly and soon. And let us say: Amen.
