Joe Rogan Claims Kamala Harris Campaign Lied About Why She Didn’t Appear on His Podcast

Joe Rogan Claims Kamala Harris Campaign Lied About Why She Didn’t Appear on His Podcast

“They never said she was going to do it. This whole idea that we f—ed her over and we f—ed her over for Trump — incorrect, just not true.”

Podcaster Joe Rogan played a significant role in the 2024 election. His interview of Donald Trump has been viewed tens of millions of times and is seen by many as a turning point in media coverage of politics.

Rogan wanted to interview Kamala Harris as well, but her campaign had numerous demands and Rogan wasn’t willing to submit to them. A new book features conversations with some staffers from Kamala’s campaign and they try to blame Rogan for her failure to appear on the podcast.

Rogan says they’re lying.

FOX News reports:

Joe Rogan insists Harris team lied suggesting he ‘f—ed’ them over for Trump

Last month, excerpts of the book “Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House” by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes detailed the campaign’s failure to book an interview for then-Vice President Kamala Harris on “The Joe Rogan Experience” before the 2024 election.

In the excerpt, the Harris campaign argued Rogan’s team made several difficult demands, including a refusal to meet on Oct. 25 because it was Rogan’s “personal day.” The Harris campaign later alleged that they found out Rogan had sat down with Trump on that same day despite refusing to meet with Harris.

Rogan denied this accusation on his podcast Wednesday, saying the real problem was that Harris “never committed” to his show.

“We have all the receipts, by the way,” Rogan said. “I have a whole list of conversations that took place. They never said she was going to do it. This whole idea that we f—ed her over and we f—ed her over for Trump — incorrect, just not true.”…

He added, “Oh, also, they wanted a stenographer in the room. They wanted staff in the room. Trump was just in here by himself. Just me, him and Jamie. That’s it. For three hours. They wanted to do everything. They wanted it very controlled, and they were really concerned that [the podcast] wasn’t going to be edited. So I don’t think they ever really were sure they wanted to do it.”

Kamala Harris going on the Joe Rogan podcast probably would not have changed the outcome of the election, but not going on the podcast definitely hurt her. For many people, it simply confirmed that she could not sit and speak coherently and off-the-cuff for two or more hours.

For Trump, this was a no-brainer. He actually seemed to enjoy himself while talking with Rogan.

She can’t speak on-the-cuff.

Oh, she can speak. The question is whether she can say anything of substance.

I seem to have a minority opinion. I can’t imagine the circumstances under which I would ever vote for Kamala. I think her political views are evil (as is she). But there are 3 worlds: (1) Kamala tells the truth about what she believes; (2) Kamala spouts gibberish; and (3) Kamala lies about what she really believes. World (1) fails because Democrat policies are so evil that Kamala actually understood that no one (not even Saint Barack) could get elected if they told the truth. In World (2) (the world she chose to operate in), conservatives focused on Kamala being stupid rather than just how evil she is. And in World (3), there is just too much evidence about what she believes to get away with outright lying. Hence, the word salad strategy. Conservatives focus on her stupidity. Liberals just want to vote for her. Fortunately, moderates understood that she wasn’t really stupid–she just thought that they were–and broke towards Trump.

      She doesn’t speak, she babbles.

“If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bulls#!+….”

    She can’t even spell “cuff”.

When I read the book excerpt, I kept thinking, “Too many cooks in the kitchen.” They had a top-heavy campaign morass, spearheaded by the various camps that couldn’t agree on things. Not to mention the obsession with celebrities.

I think it was damned if you do, damned if you don’t when it came to going on Rogan. She didn’t so we’re left with “maybe she would have won if she had” and her people trying to put the blame on Rogan. I think if she had it would have been a disaster, including at least one moment of her spouting a word salad followed by Joe incredulously exclaiming, “What the ________ did you just say?!?!”

They had to cover for a totally incompetent candidate, whose way of “winning” the debate against Trump was to turn everything into a shame-Trump fest, say how bigoted Trump is (recall her calling Biden a racist in the 1st Dem debate of 2020 before Tulsi took her down in the 2nd debate), all that repetitive nonsense and not answering questions.

That was her peak performance! And we hear she had the questions in advance.

Really good assessment. Had Harris been a good leader—which she obviously is NOT—she could have corralled those forces and moved them in the needed direction.

    Quod erat demonstrandum

I think the shortness of her campaign prevented significant turnover from becoming an issue, given her track record as CA AG, senator, and then VP with respect to keeping staff. Just hang on for a bit longer with all the other egos and hope the reward is worth it.

It doesn’t matter where she showed up for an interview, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that would have EVER made me want to vote for her. She would have finished destroying our nation as Obama had wanted. Traitors, the whole lot of them! Treason requires death.

Had she gone on Rogan, it would’ve provided a trove of campaign ads for Trump.

    diver64 in reply to Paddy M. | February 7, 2025 at 4:12 am

It was a perfectly reasonable decision to keep her off of a 3 hr free form podcast that would have 30-40 million views by the very people she needed to vote for her in order to win. She showed she simply couldn’t do something like that with her continued public speaking implosions. She may have wanted to try it but her staff rightly kept her away by demanding things from Rogan such as an edited podcast, list of topics he could go into, fly to DC to do it etc. Things he was never going to agree to. She was damned if she did and damned if she didn’t especially after Trump did it. Her staff has no choice but to try and lie about what happened but the problem is no one believes them, people believe Rogan and when he says he has the receipts, I’m quite sure he does as he has been pretty open about why the interview never happened.

Of course she lied. She’s a communist, they lie about everything.

They wanted to go on 60 minutes with Joe Rogan.
They didn’t want The Joe Rogan Experience.

What’s surprising isn’t that she and her staff lied. It’s that they lied surely knowing that Rogan would refute the lie, which then requires the public to decide whom to believe.

Duh!

mailman in reply to bev. | February 6, 2025 at 9:56 am

But as Rogan says, in their world he doesnt count so they didnt worry about him refuting their lies. They couldn’t worry about him refuting their lies because to them, he is a non-person. A heretic.

      diver64 in reply to mailman. | February 7, 2025 at 4:16 am

A non-person that over 50 million people watched when he interviewed Trump. She was in a no win situation and her staff knew it just as well as they knew Biden couldn’t formulate a coherent sentence.

They keep opening their mouths when they should shut them. Why tell a lie about someone that has 11 million listeners daily?

artichoke in reply to rebelgirl. | February 6, 2025 at 11:12 am

Talking points for their followers. Some people are still under the spell of their messages and believe them or refuse to hear anything else. Millions of people still.

We laugh at the woke. There’s little else we can see to do. They’re a tragedy.

ztakddot in reply to artichoke. | February 6, 2025 at 5:54 pm

They are well beyond a tragedy at this point. They are a threat as are those who aren’t woke, are over 30, and still support the democrats.

The truth is obvious. Vile crone-harlot, Harris, generally only gave interviews on friendly platforms where she’d be coddled and flattered. The Fox interview was the lone exception, and, she did that one begrudgingly, after being called out for avoiding Fox.

Harris rejected Rogan because she knew he would challenge her and criticize her.

Martin in reply to guyjones. | February 6, 2025 at 10:34 am

Worse than challenge and criticize, he would have let her talk for three hours and sent it out live and unedited to the world.

    diver64 in reply to guyjones. | February 7, 2025 at 4:20 am

If her or her people thought Rogan was going to be a meany pants to her then they have never listened to his podcast. That is not what he does. He would have gotten into a range of subjects and let her talk without her being able to control the subject matter or edit anything, that was the problem.

Compared to the torrent of monstrous stuff that’s been revealed so far by DOGE, Joe Rogan’s revelation seems like a tiny thing now. However, his refusal to let her get away with it was one more thing that helped derail the Uniparty/DeepState’s criminal attempt to finish the job of imposing an anarchotyrrany upon us.

So thanks, Mr. Rogan.

Not going on Rogan helped her. She would have looked even worse if she had to chat extemporaneously, without any help, for a long time.

Now that she avoided Rogan, she pretends Rogan avoided her. All very strategic, the best they can do to cover up a historically bad candidate.

Because of course she lied ; her whole persona is a lie. The media creation that is Kamala does not exist and never did. She’s an empty headed politician they thought they could use because her indenture credentials check all the right boxes. And since she’s an empty suit they could Joe Biden steam roll her for another 4 years of puppeteering. Honestly they would have pulled it off if it too if it wasn’t for those meddling kids like Elon Musk & Joe Rogan

Whoops I meant identity credentials what can I say typing is my 3rd language .

“Kamala Harris going on the Joe Rogan podcast probably would not have changed the outcome of the election, but not going on the podcast definitely hurt her. For many people, it simply confirmed that she could not sit and speak coherently and off-the-cuff for two or more hours.”

No, it strongly implied that she couldn’t sit and speak coherently and off-the-cuff for two or more hours.

Had she done the show, that is what would have confirmed it.

For that reason, I think had she gone on the show it would have hurt her way more than the refusal.

“For Trump, this was a no-brainer. He actually seemed to enjoy himself while talking with Rogan.”

Of course he did…he’s not a politician who has to have his every response to every question on every issue vetted and focus-grouped and analyzed for efficacy. He’s a real person with real opinions, positions and an agenda that he stands behind. Opinions, positions and an agenda that have the benefit of being shared by the majority of regular Americans. I’d wager he didn’t just “seem” to enjoy himself talking to Rogan…I’d bet he was having a ball.

As Rogan said, Harris and her team never committed to doing it after a bunch of back and forth between them. Rogan asked Trump and he said sure and showed up with just Trump, Rogan and Jamie in the room then did 3 hours about all kinds of stuff. If she was that afraid of Rogan what in the hell would she have done as President on the world stage?
