Democrats Whipping Their Supporters Into Dangerous Frenzy
Rep. Chu later told reporters, “Gwen Moore forced her way in there, and then I got to go in right behind her. And she was already confronting Speaker Johnson … “

To say that the Department of Government Efficiency’s revelations of corruption within the U.S. Agency for International Development have hit a nerve inside the Democratic Party, would be like calling a 9.0 magnitude earthquake a little shake.
The news struck terror among Democrats. For many Americans, it was stunning enough to learn that a federal agency had been funneling taxpayer dollars into progressive initiatives across the globe.
But Democrats know the real nightmare has just begun: Elon Musk and his brigade of 20-something tech wizards have only started peeling back the layers of rot festering beneath the surface of the Washington swamp.
Democrats are not taking DOGE’s actions well. In fact, they haven’t been this upset since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022.
On Tuesday evening, a group of furious Democratic lawmakers staged a raucous protest outside the Treasury Department building to express their outrage. Their language grew increasingly more incendiary as the evening progressed.
New Jersey Rep. LaMonica McIver shouted to her colleagues, “We will not take this! We will fight back! And godd*** it, shut down the Senate! We are at war!” I wrote about this story here.
Politico reported that Democratic Reps. Judy Chu (D-CA) and Gwen Moore (D-WI) angrily “barged into” House Speaker Mike Johnson’s office on Wednesday to confront him about “Musk’s team gaining access to a sensitive payment system at the Treasury Department.”
Bessent gave members of Musk’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency access to the payments system last weekend. The system controls trillions of dollars in payments for Social Security, tax refunds and myriad other government functions.
The Treasury Department told lawmakers Tuesday that Musk’s team currently has “read-only” access to the system and that their review “is not resulting” in any suspensions of or delays to disbursements approved by federal agencies.
According to Politico, Chu later told reporters, “Gwen Moore forced her way in there, and then I got to go in right behind her. And she was already confronting Speaker Johnson about Treasury Secretary [Scott] Bessent and the stealing of Americans’ private information, tax information that should never be stolen and given to this billionaire Elon Musk.”
However, Chu’s communication director, Graeme Crews, later issued a statement in which he downplayed Chu’s version of the encounter. Crews wrote, “She never barged, or shoved her way, into anything. She politely joined the meeting already occurring and the Speaker invited her in for a brief, civil discussion. The Secretary [Bessent] was not present, and she left immediately afterwards.”
A person who witnessed the dustup saw it very differently. This individual, who wished to remain anonymous, told Politico, “In the face of incredibly rude, extremely aggressive and frankly unhinged behavior, the Speaker was more than gracious and allowed the members into his personal office to hear their concerns.”
On Sunday, the left-leaning media outlet Wired unmasked the identities of six of Musk’s top engineers at DOGE whose ages range from 19 to 24. The Left immediately pounced on their youth and inexperience. Be that as it may, they have already uncovered a vast trove of evidence pointing to government waste and potential malfeasance within USAID. And now, they’ve set their sights on the Treasury Department.

The Democrats’ fear is palpable, and as a result, Musk has a massive target on his back. They are attempting to do to him what they did to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh ahead of his 2018 Senate confirmation.
Democrats argue that no one ever voted for Musk, and yet he’s been granted unprecedented access to government information.
It’s a pretty weak argument for many reasons. The reality is that many powerful government officials are not elected by the people. Rather, they are appointed by those who have been elected in free and fair elections.
Remember Valerie Jarrett? She was a top advisor to former President Barack Obama. She was thought by some to be the most powerful woman in America during his presidency. And no one ever voted for her either.
Nor did anyone vote for USAID officials, yet, up until this week, they had the power to distribute more than $40 billion in taxpayer funds as they saw fit.
Biden was (arguably) elected by the people, but his senility left him incapable of real governance. To this day, Americans still don’t know who was truly calling the shots during his administration. Whether it was his wife, Jill, or a small circle of trusted advisors, one thing is certain – no one ever cast a ballot for any of them.
But that won’t stop Democrats from coming after Musk. He is in the midst of revealing the vast corruption they have tried to conceal for years. Thus, he must be destroyed.

To quote the great Rush limbaugh, we haven’t seen Democrats so angry since Lincoln freed their slaves
I saw a meme even better than that…
“We have seen Democrats so angry since….yesterday.”
The Deep State is probably already scheming to build a “color revolution” upon this frenzy.
“Democrats are not taking DOGE’s actions well. In fact, they haven’t been this upset since” they were told they couldn’t lynch blacks.
Fixed it!
IMO these young men knew full well what the risks would be, to include whacko wokiestas painting a target on them not just professionally or metaphorically but physically. Good on them for demonstrating the moral and physical courage to accept their roles despite it.
I am certain that Musk always surrounds himself with the best and brightest. Considering this, Dems have good reason to be scared shitless. They know better than us how severe their crimes are, we will all know soon enough. maybe they find themselves hanging upside down off streetlights 🙂
Their stake in this is that they would like to be handed a functioning country when they are older. Musk can, and does, pay for the best. See: SpaceX. There is no way he would put slackers (or Dems) on his team.
The decibel level of the piggies squealing, and the identities of the piggies, tells you everything you need to know. Musk is now providing the details.
Good on him, and good on President Trump.
I hope AG Bondi responds appropriately to threats of physical violence or inciting violence. Besides, Trump could not have been more visible in his campaign about DOGE and Musk. What has been found at just USAID 100% validates Trump’s instincts on this.
Use RICO to permanently abolish the democrat crime cabal
They overthrew the duly elected gubmint in 2020-NA government who claims covid was a bioweapon and was intentionally released.
The stuff of this article is not trifles,
#RETARIBUATION
#LFG
It’s all they have got left, hoping for would be assassins
Maybe their actions have been so bad that they are afraid of potential homicidal lynch mobs?
To say they ‘Democratic’ party is just organized crime has been an understatement.
The fact that these marxist meat puppets thought their lil $40 billion money launder kiosk could simply hide in the shadows in perpetuity shows just how spoiled, entitled, and entrenched these politicos truly are.
But when the GOPe is mere controlled opposition that benefits from that kiosk, too, is it any wonder we are here?
We are at war. Prepare accordingly.
They are in a real frenzy! They’re going bananas!
Trying to take tax payer money away from a politician is like trying to get Dracula to quit drinking blood.
You certainly have a way with words! I love your comments!
Imagine what older, more experienced investigators would be finding in the files at USAID.
Free home improvements, all expense paid foreign vacations, and outrageous book advances.
I meant, for themselves. And they’d be way more likely to take it than these young zealots. Just like all the previous auditors.
Nobody is going to unravel this ball of intestinal worms better or quicker than this cadre of brilliant young nerds.
They’d probably be paid off by the Democrats and tell us everything was copacetic.
The age thing is stupid too.
At 24, if you enlisted at 18, you could be a sergeant in the military. If you went the officer route with college, you would likely be a lieutenant. Responsible for men’s lives and millions of dollars of equipment.
Elon does not hire stupid people. I guarantee you that these “kids” can find their way around a computer system as good or better than any regular government auditor. They are also using AI that is specifically programmed to trace payments. So congress give 100m to something they look at the something and see only 80m end up there they start tracing payments to see where the other 20m wound up. These congressmen and women are not screaming because DOGE does not know what it is doing they are screaming because DOGE has no interest in covering anything up. They are complete outsiders smart enough to find fraud and mismanagement and at least the head of it has enough money he can’t be bought.
I asked Grok on X about the government audits. Then a few follow-up questions.

“So congress give 100m to something they look at the something and see only 80m end up there they start tracing payments to see where the other 20m wound up. “
I think we’re finding out that it’s the reverse, that 20m gets to the actual recipients and 80m disappears.
(And I’m exaggerating for effect. Slightly. Maybe.)
I was a sergeant (E-5) and a squad leader in a reconnaissance platoon before I was 21. I went active duty two months before turning 18 (I had been on inactive reserve, having enlisted before graduating from high school).
Bill Proposed in Illinois Could Allow 18-Year-Olds to Drink Alcohol
Only 55 years to correct this Democrat “Indian Gift”…
in one state…
maybe.
What’s that about a right delayed?
Since language is important, may I suggest we stop using the term “Democratic” party, and instead use “Democrat”. They are no more democratic than my dog.
And the libs should be careful declaring war and calling for a fight. Be careful what you wish for…
I used to think this, but upon further reflection have decided that “Democratic” is a perfect name for a political party of a nation other than the one in which we live – which is a “constitutional republic”. The proper name for a political party in our country has already been taken.
The founders described the USA both as a republic and as a democracy. They did not understand these terms to be in conflict.
Milhouse, I enjoy your pettifogging. However, the founders most assuredly did understand these terms to be in conflict. “Republic” and “democracy” are intrinsically in permanent conflict. However a proper balance of both is essential. But the founders were aware that “democracy” is the worse of the two, and would inevitably lead to disastrous failure as it always has in history.
The Republican party embraces a proper place for democracy. The Democratic party is hell bent on eliminating the republic.
Considering they avoid using democratic methods even to select their own nominees I agree.
Way ahead of ya, Kemosabe.
As are the Democrats, who trip their bitch switch whenever they notice you doing it.
I was surprised at how far they went in their rhetoric, especially after years of accusing Trump of inciting a riot.
I’m not, sad to say. All of their accusations against Pres. Trump were just reflexive and exaggerated projection, which they continue to apply, particularly in this DOGE purge.
They want to “protect citizens” by defending and perpetuating their corruption. I sure don’t see a lot of Republicans out their complaining. Maybe they are just smarter….
I insist on saying “Democrat Party”, not because I think there’s any real difference between that and the name they prefer, but only because it seems to upset them so much.
They do not want transparency. Every agency needs to be audited. The President is the head of the executive branch and has every right to know what everything in the executive branch is doing.
If they’re freaking out now that Musk’s minions have access to classified data, Trump should threaten to just declassify it.
I suspect that they have already been granted whatever security clearances they need.
I don’t think it’s so much classified as it is privacy-protected. An entirely different chain of authority, more of which is legislatively mandated.
The only “trans” they don’t celebrate is transparency.
From over at Steyn on Line:
“There once was a crew of autistics
Aces at codes and statistics
They sniffed out the fraud
Like Deputy Dawg
And all of the Dems went ballistic”
There was once a prince from Nigeria,
Who was hired to reign over ya.
He was so down right exemplary,
they put him in charge of the Treasury.
And who would that be bro?
Adewale O. Adeyemo!
Okay: An Affirmative Action Prince from Nigeria is allowed access to all the records in the US Treasury
Not Okay: American born 20-something tech wizards, very suspicious, shadow government. No no no.
It will be hard to get real reform through Congress because a lot of the families of GOP members are also on those NGO boards etc
The more they carry on this way, the more Democrats will walk away, leaving only the “sociopaths” (to use a word being bandied about) and their extremist backers, pretending like they are morality’s messengers, but acting like the hate filled people they are.
Should have mentioned they deserve the Schumer approach.

It’s hard to believe USAID is a hill for democrats to die on. I would think they have more important “principals” to defend. Goes to show how really lost they are. The problem is they’ve dragged almost half the country into the wilderness with them.
I think that there’s a lot of graft and corruption at USAID that will both infuriate the public and lead to other agencies and people. Plus I’m guessing the same methods of hiding where money is going was used in money other agencies and budgets. This is the tip of the iceberg and Dems know that if Doge gets momentum and experience they’re going to be unstoppable and people are (hopefully) going to go to jail.
An audit of the Pentagon is going to be epic. I can’t wait.
USAID is their on-demand ATM — or one of several. That’s what has them furious.
If I was a democrat the hill I would defend is DEI because that is what has allowed me to capture universities, media, the military, and most of government. It is also easily defended.
USAID can’t be defended and is limited to 60 billion much of which is spent overseas and it is chalk full of offensive stuff. It can always be rebuilt after regaining control of government.
Hmm. I don’t find government racism to be very defendable.
MLK’s equality rejects racism; the Dem’s “equity” demands it. All the rest derives from that.
They don’t think it is racism and can through that epithet around all day as they continue to do and a lot of people will buy it as they have.
I would defend Principal Skinner.
“Elon does not hire stupid people. I guarantee you that these “kids” can find their way around a computer system as good or better than any regular government auditor.”
******
Saw a comment a couple of days ago from Elon(?), saying that the gov’t computer programs and code are so poor that the career GSA employees responsible need to be called in to justify their jobs.
Whether the code is by government employees or Beltway Bandit consultants, it’s very often significantly short of professional.
As a computer manufacturer rep, I once worked embedded inside a Bandit staff on a Navy procurement. Our file system supported files of various record styles (fixed size, variable size, stream, etc.). They had tasked their least capable employee with writing a utility to copy a file of any type to a file of any other type — something of which I was unaware until he approached me for help with an intractable problem in the tons of code he had written so far. It took a while for me to puzzle out the overall purpose of his project, at which point I had to inform him, “it’s not necessary for you to do any of this. The system COPY command already does all of this automatically for you.” Poor bastard had blown five months of his life writing tons of useless code to solve a non-problem, which otherwise would have been recommended to the Navy as SOP instead of the system utility that already worked and was much faster.
But given that he was the same guy who in a group meeting told his own vice president of engineering that he looked overly tense about slow progress on the procurement and that he “should try bondage, which I personally find very relaxing,” (and he was 100% serious), I didn’t feel overly bad about it.
Drop the hammer on this insurrection.
Let the piggies squeal; Elon is making bacon.
People who shouldn’t be there barging into the speaker’s office because they have a grievance sure sounds insurrectiony. Arrest them and prepare them for trial sometime in 2030.
On USAID, remember who ran it – Samantha Power, a senior Obama official, Was she the Meyer Lansky for the Democrat mob and to whom did she really report?
Well maybe you shouldn’t have pissed Trump off, you stupid mama-frackers.
Stolen elections and lawfare have consequences. Now enjoy them.
This is standard Leftist procedure according to their most recent playbook.
1. Whip their nutball supporters into a screeching froth until they attack something.
2. Then scream “Look what you made these poor unfortunates do! “
When life hands you lemmings, create cliffs.
In the next few weeks expect “ethics committees” to start releasing a bit of dirt on elected officials. I see this as cover in that “we investigated them and this is all we found.” The Oregon Governor IIRC spent a bit too much on a party ($9K) and also their husband/wife/partner’s: I don’t know or care who is who there wasn’t supposed to get free parking or something.
The point is, they are volunteering some stuff likely in the hope that it distracts and makes people think that there isn’t more underneath. What I will suspect happens is that some young aggressive reporters will start poking deeper, or some people who just realized that the risk of their actions far exceeded the reward, will decide to tirn states evidence. The Portland area has a $1B plus homeless slush fund that I am certain has been misappropriated in many many different directions. Ditto the free preschool for all money which has been collected but there are no preschools, yet. I would love to see the locals sue to get their money back. Trump asking questions is going to get others asking questions and I think that we are far from the end of this snowball morphing into an avalanche.
Want to know how strong the crazy is in these people?
“Michigan state Rep. Laurie Pohutsky (D-Livonia), … a sitting government official, opted for voluntary sterilization because she was uncertain she would be able to access contraception in the future.”
