Trump Inaugural Parade Honors Corey Comperatore, Families of Hostages Held in Gaza

It was beautiful.

President Donald Trump’s inaugural parade started by honoring Corey Comperatore, the fireman murdered while protecting his family in Butler, PA, as a man shot at Trump.

The parade also honored the families of hostages held in Gaza by Hamas.

The crowd greeted the families with cheers and shouts of, “BRING THEM HOME!”

Had a kind of circus feel to it
Don’t get me wrong, love circus’s

And it is Trump

He is the master

Women are always trying to put great significance into ceremonies, e.g. weddings, where significance will only emerge later if at all. Women are mostly frivolous, in general.

What’s honored in a parade is similarly frivolous. It winds up as clickbait though, where it fits for the same reason.

And yet, it’s men who developed ceremonies to mark events of importance, since the beginning of civilization.

Military men. The ceremony’s unimportance and the regardless serious treatment of it is part of drilling individuality out of a military that has to work as a team. The insignificance is needed for that purpose. E.g. flag etiquette.

The civilian use of flags lying to the voters. You want cynical citizens, not obedient ones.

Sigh. Someone on the advance team was NOT “4 Imprint certain.”
“COMPERTORE”

I heard that the misspelling was intentional, they didn’t have enough room for the whole name on his coat. TY Mary…

Strange they didn’t just leave off the final E.
Were they afraid someone would confuse him with an integrated circuit?
