Top Staffer Resigns After MA Dem Rep. Seth Moulton Says Doesn’t Want Boys In His Daughters’ Sports
Moulton: “I have two little girls, I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete, but as a Democrat I’m supposed to be afraid to say that.”
Congressman Seth Moulton, a Democrat from Massachusetts, recently suggested in an interview that he did not want one of his daughters to get run over by a male athlete while playing sports. He was using this opinion to explain how Trump is beating Democrats, who are afraid to say this sort of thing publicly.
One of his top aides just resigned over the comments, apparently completely missing the point.

Top Moulton aide quits after transgender athlete remarks
A top aide to Democratic Rep. Seth Moulton (Mass.) resigned after comments Moulton made about transgender athletes were panned by state Democrats and LGBTQ groups.
Matt Chilliak, Moulton’s campaign manager and director of his “Serve America” political committee, departed Moulton’s office late Thursday, The Boston Globe reported. A spokesperson for Moulton’s office did not return a request for comment on Chilliak’s departure.
Responding to President-elect Trump’s win Tuesday, Chilliak wrote on social platform X, “Millions of Americans today showed that they hate immigrants and transgender people more than they fear fascism.”
In a New York Times story about Democratic finger-pointing on Thursday, Moulton was quoted as saying his party had leaned too heavily into identity politics, allowing Trump and Republicans to sail to a decisive victory.
“Democrats spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone rather than being brutally honest about the challenges many Americans face,” he said. “I have two little girls, I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete, but as a Democrat I’m supposed to be afraid to say that.”

The Salem School Committee was swift to denounce Moulton’s remarks.
“We want to reassure our LGBTQ+ students that we as district leaders will always celebrate your identities, support your dreams and aspirations, and applaud your accomplishments,” the committee said in a statement. “Neither fear nor political whim will shake our commitment to you.”
Moulton did not back down from his comments on Friday, saying Democrats lost on Tuesday in part because “we shame and belittle too many opinions held by too many voters and that needs to stop.”
Democrats have some very difficult decisions to make about their future as a party.

Good for Moutlon (on this one little thing, at least), but there’s no such thing as “formerly male”. To even say “formerly male” is to prostrate oneself and demonstrate fealty to a bunch of deranged lunatic perverts.

This is a hopeful sign the Dems will be in a state of disarray for some period of time. They’re simply too aligned with the looney left for any kind of clean or rational break. It’s going to be an ugly and arduous separation probably with a few boiled bunnies and whatnot…if it’s possible at all.
This is what I think. Trump still won by a comparatively narrow margin and some people are saying, rightfully, don’t relax, the Dems will try to mount a comeback in 2026 or 28. But this shows how ingrained the hard left insanity has become in their party and they are going to have a lot of trouble ditching it.

I’m curious how many Democrats will come out against the real fascists in the trans movement and defend women’s sports and spaces. If they’re afraid to that shows how much power the movement actually has. But I’m also skeptical to trust anything a Democrat says at this point. Time will tell.

College “men’s” sports was open to female players. But nearly zero females are capable making a roster when competing against men for spots on teams. “Women’s” sports was created to address this problem. The purpose of having women’s teams is defeated when bio men play on them.
There are teams open to trans players – men’s teams. Men’s teams are open to all who can make the competitive grade. Funny, there are probably zero FTM trans players on any men’s team. Why is that? Because transitioning doesn’t significantly alter athletic performance!
Why is a school committee celebrating anyone’s sexual orientation? I thought they were there to make sure our kids were educated. On the same note, what does transgender stuff have to do with gay rights?
While someone can turn in his “man card”, his manhood is and will remain a constant, it is basic, in the DNA, and cannot be turned off. No matter the desire, transgenderism remains a mental disorder. Deal with it!

I’ve heard a lot about how the Dems need to learn from this electoral debacle, and how they must moderate their positions to be closer to the American public.
