NY Governor Hochul Calls Trump and Republican Voters ‘Anti-American’ and ‘Anti-Women’
Her rant about the comedian’s Puerto Rico joke became about abortion because the Democrats are obsessed with it.
NY Gov. Kathy Hochul trashed former President Donald Trump’s supporters and Republican voters.
You’ll never guess what happened. The rant started over the comedian’s Puerto Rico joke but then turned to the Democrats’ religion: abortion.
It’s always about abortion with them.
Well, Hochul called you anti-American, anti-abortion, and anti-women.
“I was disgusted by, first of all, the lineup of individuals who spewed such venom and hatred about every person you could imagine — whether it’s women [or] people of color. Now to single out Puerto Ricans? I’m so proud to represent one of the largest Puerto Rican populations in our country,” Hochul said. “You know what he does by not disavowing this, by not condemning this? Which he should have done and I called him out to do this. He just makes people feel that they’re not worthwhile, that they don’t have value.”
“I know this because literally right after this, I went up to east Harlem. I walked the streets. I was surrounded by people who had come from Puerto Rico — these are American citizens by the way, American citizens,” Hochul added. “They were so hurt and this was so painful for them. [There were] so many hugs, and people said, ‘We are so glad you came out here, governor, because we felt dehumanized.’ You do not think, in this great country, that we should have leader who either say this themselves or tolerate it at one of their rallies.”

“I think this rally backfired on him and it gives me as someone leading the effort in our state to ensure we flip the battleground seats. It gave me a chance to tie the Republicans running for these seats closer to Donald Trump and remind everybody if you are voting for these Republicans in New York, you are voting for someone who supports Donald Trump and you are anti-woman, you are anti-abortion, basically, you are anti-American. Because you have just trashed American values and what our country is all about over and over and over. You will wear this on Election Day,” Hochul concluded.
I’m not Republican and won’t reveal who I voted for (if you follow me on X, you know), but guess what, lady? I am PROUD to be anti-abortion. I am PROUD to be against the slaughter of human beings in the womb.
It’s also precious the people who have no problem with males playing female sports and invading female spaces call people like me anti-women.

Exactly. This slore has the gall, nerve, and utter audacity to call Republican voters in her state “anti-woman, anti-abortion, and anti-American.” I spit in her general direction.
Meanwhile, as you noted, her jackbooted thugs held two citizens hostage for five hours while they trashed their house, broke their stuff, and confiscated two pets. Then, they kept the couple in the dark before finally admitting the two pets had been euthanized.
Hochul is the worst kind of ghoul and authoritarian. New York voters, you should have done better.

Yep. Out of control bureaucrats acting out of spite simply b/c they had the power to do so. Of course the NY bureaucracy doesn’t seem to choose to exercise its power to put career criminals in jail, lock up rioters/looters, get lunatic hobos off the streets or cooperate with ICE. That would require confrontation with actual criminals. Much safer to make your bureaucratic ‘bones’ by hassling otherwise law abiding middle class folks who are, at present, unlikely to offer violent resistance to bureaucratic overreach. I hope so too. These thugs had probably a dozen options at their disposal to handle the situation, and they somehow managed to choose the worst possible solution every step of the way. Probably because they don’t expect any consequences.
Perhaps if they had been a bit more worried that there would be immediate and deadly consequences for such malfeasance, they would have chosen better.
Hochul sets the tone for such authoritarianism. She and Gretchen Whitmer are two of the worst governors in the country.
Like a tiny bit of salt dropped in a supersaturated salt solution will initiate the abrupt formation of a large salt crystal around it, filling the jar.

As one of those people who she seems to believe are so repulsive, she should be glad that I left her state in 1974 and never looked back. Of course she is only the last of a line of NYS governors who said that I didn’t belong in their state as I wasn’t a “true New Yorker.” I thank God for that every day!
How dare she and her fellow Leftists claim to be pro-Women when
1– they can’t define what a woman is without a biology degree
2– they can’t protect innocent women from being raped and murdered by illegal aliens under the current administration’s despicable immigration policies
3- they allow biological males to compete with women in elite sports
4– they champion the murder of millions of pre-born women before they are given the opportunity to live the life that God intended them to live

NY is a virtual one party State. There is nobody within 100 miles with whom she could argue. Everyone around her just nods and applauds.
Isn’t it more than NY is virtually a one-city state? Take NYC out of the equation and things there would be far different.
That’s largely the case. Other than a few urban areas in “upstate” (the beautiful part of NYS where I was born and raised and usually dismissed as being populated by backward hicks by the sophisticated city dwellers), the population is generally of a mindset of helping their neighbors when they need help and otherwise leaving them to live their lives without any interference. They are also the part of the population that didn’t cooperate with the state government’s gun control laws and kept their AR15s.

The comment wasn’t directed against Puerto Ricans, it was about the conditions on the island. That she is either a) oblivious to the issue or; b) such a political lowlife to twist this into her goal to further abet infanticide is a question left to NY voters.

My wife used to work for a company doing line clearance in PR. She said that much of the place is beautiful and much is a pit and corrupt as the day is long – third world stuff. Folks are leaving for a reason. Like many 3rd world countries, too much is a garbage heap.

This woman has no fear of being removed from office. It appears that she understands very well either the voters will put her back in office or there is enough votes from either dead people or fraudulent ballots that will re-elect her. The fact that she targeted people who vote republican is a great indicator that the state of New York has some of the most corrupt and evil people in charge and will not shy away from implementing their crimes.
Yes, she has no real fear of losing and Harris is going to win the state. BUT, in 2020 the limited statewide polling available in NY showed Biden winning by 30-points +/-. In fact, in their last poll for 2020, Siena (the NYT’s pollster) showed Biden up +32. Biden ended up winning the state +23.
The last Siena poll for NY for this year’s election ‘only’ shows Harris up by 19-points with another pollster – Cygnal – only showing a 18-point lead. To put that in perspective, no other Democrat presidential nominee has won less than 59% of the vote in NY since 1992. Harris almost certainly isn’t going to come close to 59%.
Wanna know what’s anti-Women? Releasing 15,811 sexual assault convicts into the country, thank you Ms Border Czar, which increases the chance of American females being raped by that amount

Has Hochul gone on the record that she will support the results of the election–regardless of who wins? I doubt it. The media are obsessed with whether Trump’s supporters will respect the results of the election, but somehow the Democrats (who have a long history of challenging election results (just for example, 2000, 2004, and 2016)–come to think of it, whenever they lose) are never asked that question. My bet would be that every prominent Democrat will be an “election denier” if Trump[ prevails. Maybe this two-faced treatment of the issue is part of the reason that the press is held in contempt by Republicans and Independents (and is barely supported by Democrats). Democracy doesn’t die in darkness–it dies with a dishonest press.
Do you know why there are so many Puerto Ricans in New York? Visit Puerto Rico and get off the tourist trail and you will see a corrupt government, sub-standard living, and gang controlled drugs and crime.
