Connecticut Democrat Congress Members Sent Bomb Threats
The threats come a day after bomb threats targeted numerous appointees and nominees of President-elect Donald Trump.
At least six Democrat members of Congress received bomb threats on Thanksgiving.
“Early this morning, Mr. Courtney’s home was targeted with a bomb threat while he and his family were at home to celebrate Thanksgiving. Thanks to the swift and professional response of Vernon Police Chief Marc Petruzzi and Lieutenant Robert Marra, the United States Capitol Police, and the bomb squad, the Courtneys are safe, and there was no evidence found of a bomb on their property. Joe and Audrey extend their utmost gratitude to the law enforcement officers, whose response should signal to perpetrators that these types of threats will not be tolerated.”

Today, I received a bomb threat similar to my colleagues in the Connecticut congressional delegation. The New Haven Police Department’s bomb squad has responded & determined no bomb was present at our home. I am thankful for their swift response & relieved no one was harmed.
“Early this morning, East Hartford Police came to my home in response to a bomb threat. The police determined no bomb was present at the property and the Larson family is safe. I would like to thank the East Hartford Police Department for their swift and professional response in ensuring the safety of my family. Thanks again to law enforcement at every level, from local, to state, to federal.”
Sen. Chris Murphy “also had his home targeted by a bomb threat on Thursday morning in what ‘appears to be part of a coordinated effort involving multiple members of Congress and public figures,’ his spokesperson said.”

The way the headline reads I thought the dem Congressmen were the ones sending the threats – which would be par for the course for leftists.
But … as it is it sounds suspiciously like the second pipe bomb being assumed to be placed near the DNC, since they found one at the RNC, and then … 15 minutes later it turns out that they DID find one at the DNC!!
I would figure that the same worms who called in the threats to the conservatives did this, too, to offer cover to the treasonous left.

Sounds like the most likely explanation is that none of the threats were political, it’s just someone causing disruption for its own sake. Remember the bomb threats that were called in to thousands of Jewish Community Centers and other Jewish targets eight years ago. The usual suspects were blaming Trump supporters and calling them antisemites, but it turned out to be completely nonpolitical, just some Jewish kid who thought it was funny. Plus a completely unrelated copycat who did a dozen or so threats for his own purposes, also not political.
All it takes is one crazy and the world has not shortage of those.

I reflexively assume this is a false flag, with the left deflecting attention from the threats against Trump nominees, and Murphy, Delauro, and the others feeling left out and craving attention.
Not saying it didn’t happen, but I’m not going to accept at face value any presumption or insinuation that ‘right-wingers’ are responsible. The same goes for any claims that “The Russians Did It!” The involvement of the U.S. Capitol Police (Washington, DC) in “investigations” in Connecticut does nothing to lessen my skepticism. In fairness, I will similarly reject any unsubstantiated, knee-jerk allegations that the Left must be responsible for threats against Trump nominees.
Looked at logically, there’s no point and nothing to be gained by the right making threats aimed at the Connecticut backbench congressional delegation.
On the other hand, attempting to influence and intimidate Trump’s nominees into withdrawing from his incoming administration does explain threats against them.

Great Maker, the length the leftist democrats will go in their attempts to be the victim. Awaiting the legacy media to connect these alleged bomb threats to those evil, far-right, MAGA Republicans that voted for Trump. You know it’s gonna happen. Either Caryn Johnson (aka Whoopi Goldberg) or Richard Maddow (aka Rachel) will have a hysterical fit and shoot off their mouth and attempt to make that connection.
We’re not doing ourselves any favors by asserting that we know who sent these threats and why. Best to simply state that we abhor the action, NO MATTER WHO DID IT AND WHY. There will be plenty of time to discuss the motivations and character of those responsible, once that is revealed.

Bomb threats against a house is also kinda weird. There are exactly three places someone could put a device of any sort around my home and not have it be totally out in the open. One of those would be my trash bins. And I do know that something exploding against an exterior wall would be dangerous to us inside, it would be such an easy thing to see that it seems bizarre to do it.
The whole point of a bomb threat in most cases is to force someplace to shut down to search for the supposed bomb. So, it only makes sense to happen someplace open to the public or a LOT of people who can’t easily be tracked. And my house isn’t that. Probably none of your houses are that, either.
There are some things I could see being done, but they are professional level things (Mafia, for example) not done by some random weirdo.
