Biden-Harris State Dept. Conducts Therapy Session Over Trump

Cry harder.

The Washington Free Beacon learned that the Biden-Harris State Department held a therapy session due to Donald Trump’s victory.

What a bunch of babies:

“Managing stress during change,” read an internal State Department email sent across the agency that encouraged employees to attend a one-hour session in which they could discuss their feelings about Tuesday’s election results. The department’s Employee Consultation Services in the Bureau of Medical Services hosted the session, according to a copy of the email notice described by sources to the Free Beacon.

“Change is a constant in our lives, but it can often bring about stress and uncertainty,” the email said. “Join us for an insightful webinar where we delve into effective stress management techniques to help you navigate these challenging times. This session will provide tips and practical strategies for managing stress and maintaining your well being.”

The session was led by a licensed clinical provider. A second one is scheduled for Nov. 13, according to the email notice.

The State Department’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs held a “cry session” on Friday due to the many changes Trump’s administration will likely make in January.

The bureau has been working on ways to sanction Israel and “withhold critical arms shipments, alleging Israel is not doing enough to provide humanitarian aid in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.”

Apparently, Trump has to clean up a lot at the State Department:

“For four years, within the rank and file, there has been an over emphasis on people’s feelings, often with a college campus-like fervor, rather than the work of advancing America’s interests,” one U.S. official with knowledge of the meetings told the Free Beacon.

“This meeting was hopefully the last gasp of that,” the source said, adding that there is “lots to unf—k” at the State Department after four years of the Biden-Harris administration.

A second source briefed on the private discussions said they suggest “the State Department is filled with partisan Democrats who are unwilling or unable to faithfully serve in the Trump administration.”

Fire them all.

Clean out at least one third and then fire or reassign from there..

Imagine these fragile people being in charge of anything more important than writing names on an overpriced coffee cup.

Anyone employed by the Federal Gov’t who needs a ‘cry therapy’ session or otherwise take time off from work b/c the election results weren’t to their liking must be dismissed.

    I’ll never forget the phrase “pin-striped cookie-pushers.”
I think it was from Keith Laumer’s Retief stories, but I’m not positive.

This tells all we need to know about the people staffing the State Department. President Trump needs to fire every last political holdover and every last bureaucrat in that god-forsaken Department.

Every last one? I supported Trump 100% when I was one of those bureaucrats at State, probably lost a promotion because of my support. The Department needs a full makeover, certainly, and this is our chance to do it. Its mission has definitely been warped, and it is grossly overstaffed, but its core functions are still as vital as when George Washington signed the act establishing the Department and when Thomas Jefferson agreed to be the 1st Secretary of State.

There are many wonderful and dedicated Americans serving in Foggy Bottom and our Embassies around the world, doing important work in very dangerous conditions. When was the last time you had to have an armed guard just to buy groceries because Boco Haram was trying to kidnap you and remove your head? Or the last time a Hutu rebel stuck an AK-47 in your face? I’ve had both, because I was serving my country, going where it told me to serve. My uniform may have been a suit and a tie, but I was still “in uniform.”

Washington and Jefferson may not recognize the bloated behemoth it has become, but they would still recognize its need, and would reform it, not fire everyone.

My mom worked a bit with the state department. Did a stint in Afghanistan teaching them how to regrow/maintain forests after the Russians cleared them.

Her replacement was kidnapped and killed by the Seals in the rescue attempt. Coulda just as easily been my mom.

Say what you might about Lorne Michaels and SNL — the reality is that they have turned a Nothing Time Slot into a Maker Of Money For Fifty Years.

How? In part, by firing almost all of the cast every few years.

      —-

Many posts in the military turn over every two years — in part, to prevent stasis.

      —-

Bill Belichick has said that if you want to create consistent winning, you must maintain the self-discipline necessary to cut older players and make room for newer players.

      —-

Wasn’t there that quip from the UK Admiralty a few hundred years ago about “hanging a few ship captains from to time … in order to maintain the work effort of those who remain.”

      —-

The US Dept of State is surely filled with spies from too many foreign adversaries.

Purging the ranks regularly seems like it ought to be Basic Preventive Maintenance.

Arthur, overseas missions also turn over every 1-3 years, depending on the post. The rot at State can, and must, be addressed by leadership at the top of the chain, and that is the White House. That is what we have now, an opportunity to address that rot.

Thank God that His will triumphed again, and man’s understanding is challenged.

Fire all of them as unfit for the job.

Is it any wonder that over the past four years none of the thugs in charge of Russia, China, and Iran had any fear of us?

4 years ago it was “we are in charge youre not suck on it”. Now its bsvk to we need safe spaces.

I thought with Blinkin that the adults were now in the room? OK…padded room. OK.. misspoke….. children in the room. I’m sorry but a bunker is not a safe space reserved only for the State Dept.

Strange how Republicans never need therapy to adjust emotionally to a change in the administration.

These were not actual medical interventions but were work activities, and they lack privacy protections.

Issue retention letters for any notes from these meetings.

Couldn’t we just have given them a copy of I’m Okay You’re Okay?

“The Washington Free Beacon learned that the Biden-Harris State Department held a therapy session due to Donald Trump’s victory.”

Well, at least we know where JR’s been.

Trump should institute a ban on hiring any graduate from the Ivy League into government especially the State Dept and most especially from any school who is loving them some terrorist protests.

Don’t be too quick with the scalpel. There are a lot of good people at State, many of whom have learned firsthand the corrosive effects of DEI. Believe me, the good ones hate it and will be happy to see it go. The crybabies will quit or retire. Let those who remain do their jobs without fear of reprisal for the sins of Victoria Nuland et al.

Such frickin’ whimps!!! An embarrassment to the country.

My last real job was in the federal court system. We had staff crying in 2016 over Trump winning. Still have friends there, they report crying again. If you have that happening there are deep mental issues inside.

time to leave the bubble. please take others with you.

Poor babies. Get to work.

Does anybody know why Blinken looks and sounds like a 14-year-old boy? leading the junior high school class for the first time in The Pledge Of Allegiance?

This the deep state and swamp that needs draining.

I would have every one of these losers in a rubber room for a few years.
