“you’re seeing the destruction of our standards because we are using so-called equity instead of equality”

A “short” clip from my appearance on Fox Businesss to discuss the challenge by our Equal Protection Project to a Missouri State U business bootcamp which excluded white males.

I appeared on Fox Business on June 9, 2023, to talk about our civil rights complaint regarding a Missouri State University business boot camp that excluded white males. While MSU changed the program after our challenge, its President nonetheless has asserted that “I still don’t think we did anything wrong.” You can watch the full segment with background information on MSU at “if they think that was not wrong, then who knows what else is going on at Missouri State”.

Part of the conversation was about “equity” and the loss of standards. Fox Business posted that as a separate “short” on its YouTube account. Here is the transcript for that “short” segment:

WAJ: … you’re seeing the destruction of our standards because we are using so-called equity instead of equality. Equality means each person gets judged based on their own merit without regard to race or ethnicity or gender. Equity is racial balancing. It is using the color of someone’s skin to justify giving them favor or disfavor. That’s the opposite of what the American Civil Rights Movement was about. So at Equal Protection Project, we stand side by side with the American Civil Rights movement, which did not do what Missouri State and other colleges are doing now, which is judge people based on the color of their skin.

We are a small organization going up against powerful and wealthy government and private institutions devoted to DEI discrimination. Donations are greatly needed and appreciated.

Equality is the gate, equity is the finish line. SMH… I don’t like the one we are heading towards.

As I have said, “equity” requires racism (sexism, transgenderism etc.); equality abhors it.

Dr. Martin Luther King has been kicked to the curb, replaced by Saint George Floyd.

    Woe to us.

No, equity is not the finish line. You can have freedom or equity, but not both. The only finish line worth having is determined by the choices of free people in a market where many options are available and none is dictated by the government.

Equity comes from law, but has been perverted for politics. It goes to fairness. At its core it requires that those seeking it have clean hands. Purveyors of equity, rather, hustlers of equity, are not clean, nor is the way it’s implemented to promote inequality.

It is Marxism, plain and simple.

RIght on the money. It is a scary reminder of the Stalin era. As a LEGAL immigrant, I find myself at a loss for words to express the sadness I feel about this preposterous, horrendous ideology. We are witnessing the tearing of the fabric of our society. I can guarantee you that we as immigrants never saw this comming in our worst nightmares, the nightmares we fled from (40 yrs, ago in my case).

All this lawfare over the niceties of program administration is just an ineffectual proxy war. No matter how scrupulously equality is assured, the inevitable, resultant, glaring, outcome-disparities will elicit screams of a stacked deck. We must acknowledge biological differences. That is the true war.

We are in the situation we are today SOLELY because of the treason of Jeff Sessions and William Barr:

    The Coup continues.

Alternatively: We are in the situation we are today SOLELY because of the selection of Jeff Sessions and William Barr: Without their selection they would not have been in a position to do anything. Chris Christie wanted that job from the beginning but, as Federal prosecutor, had put Kushner’s father in prison. IMO Trump making poor selections – also including Rosenstein and Wray – is why we are in the situation we are in today.

“Equity is racial balancing.”

No that is not the definition of ‘equity’.

Here is a valid definition of ‘equity’:

“The value of the shares issued by a company.”

Do not let the left redefine words.

“Do not let the left redefine words.”

I agree completely. I growl and grr at on-line publications like LI to stop with this “gender” piffle when subject is “sex”, or “liberal” when leftist is the better term.

“Liberal” was glommed onto by the Woodrow Wilsons as “progressive” was already taken by T.R. “Leftist” is really proto-communist. “Socialism” is a softened word when it has the same endpoint as communism.

In intersectionality there can be no equity as the victimhood pyramid apex victim is constantly changing. Equity means no peak victim.

“Equity” requires racism, “equality” rejects it.

And we can look back to *participation trophies*, no matter who wins or loses, everyone gets the same trophy and no ones*feelings* get hurt.
I always found losing as a very powerful motivator, as it made me try harder at whatever I was working toward or participating in.
When I was on stage fronting the band, I found indifference or cat calls to make me determined to be a better singer and entertainer..
Participation trophies kill motivation and stimulation, which is why we now see the decline in America.

The implantation of the Stalin era, right in front of our noses, right here, in our beloved America. To roughly quote a non national politician: ‘I might say that we love America more than American born people, because I found here what I lacked in my native country’. That holds true for 90% of us LEGAL immigrants.

I disagree with everyone. The Civil Rights Movement was an error – i’ll-conceived and badly executed. The issue was cultural, not legal, and there was no legal remedy. The real hero of the Civil Rights Movement was Berry Gordy, not MLK.
