Southern Poverty Law Center Designates Parental Rights Groups as Extremists

Yes, organizations to keep parents involved in their child’s education are on par with the Nation of Islam and the KKK.

Far-left group Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) listed parental rights groups on its hate map in its 2022 Year in Hate & Extremism.

Why pay attention to the SPLC? Because there are too many people who take this actual hate group seriously and use it to censor and demean citizens.

The report identifies “1,225 active groups,” with 12 of them specifically aimed at schools.

Yes, organizations to keep parents involved in their child’s education are on par with the Nation of Islam and the KKK.

These are lies:

Reactionary anti-student inclusion groups such as Moms for Liberty, Moms for America, Parents Defending Education that the SPLC lists as extremist groups are, by their very nature, responding to social progress that they dislike and have no control over. Like many other hard-right groups, these reactionary anti-student inclusion groups are constantly painting themselves as an oppressed class, while vilifying those discriminated against.

These groups denigrate lessons on diversity and inclusion. They spew homophobic and transphobic speech in the name of protecting their children’s innocence, disregarding and disrespecting children in the LGBTQ community. They ban reading materials that they deem inappropriate, which almost always happens to be LGBTQ or non-white in subject matter. They embrace racist and nationalist ideology, claiming to want the teaching of America’s accurate history in the schools but label the true, harsh history of the country as unpatriotic and unsuitable for children.

“Hate and antigovernment extremist groups are intent on staging public spectacles of hatred that harass, threaten and violently harm Black, Brown, Asian, Jewish, LGBTQ+ and immigrant communities,” said SPLC Intelligence Project Director Susan Corke. “Schools, synagogues, and LGBTQ+ businesses — venues that have traditionally been safe spaces for our children, the Jewish community and LGBTQ+ people — are now on the frontlines of hatred and violence. We all have a responsibility to speak out against hate, extremism, and violence when we see it, and encourage those in positions of power to fulfill their duty to act.”

The SPLC identified 12 so-called “anti-student inclusion groups.” SPLC had the nerve to equate 2022 to 1960 when schools and society literally segregated whites and blacks.

Moms for Liberty takes the brunt of the attack in the SPLC report. After all, the group exists “to fuel right-wing hysteria and to make the world a less comfortable or safe place for certain students – primarily those who are Black, LGBTQ or who come from LGBTQ families.”

SPLC describes Moms for Liberty as “a far-right organization that engages in anti-student inclusion activities and self-identifies as part of the modern parental rights movement.” It claims the group formed “out of opposition to public health regulations for COVID-19, opposes LGBTQ+ and racially inclusive school curriculum, and has advocated books bans.”

The SPLC also insists that parents told principals “sought to limit or challenge: Teaching about issues of race and racism (50%); Policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ student rights (48%); Student access to books in the school library (33%); or Social Emotional Learning (39%).”

The report does not offer the real definition and practices of Critical Race Theory and DEI. It does not mention that the schools and activists aren’t teaching people to love everyone. The people literally want to push sex and anti-science beliefs on children.

As I mentioned above, people, agencies, and businesses use SPLC’s lists to determine who to censor and do business with at the end of the day.

The FBI still partners with SPLC and cites the group as justification to target so-called extremists. The latest incident targeted Catholics who prefer the Latin Mass and customs that took place pre-Vatican II.

In 2018, Amazon and its charity program relied on SPLC. That could explain why the Amazon Associates program kicked out LI.

SPLC also documents conservative groups on college campuses.

The media helped SPLC smear the religious organization Alliance Defending Freedom in 2017.

So our wives bear and give birth to our children. We raise them, feed them clothe them, house them, all 24/7 and yet we are to assume the state has more rights to our children and knows what is better for them than we do. We love them and have every right to protect them. The heinous SPLC only love our children as pawns to pad their own selfish bottom line.

Criteria for being on the SPLC Hate List – anyone & everyone whose opinions the SPLC doesn’t t like.

Of course we’re extremists. We defy the lunacy of the fundamentalist Progressive dogma. Everyone who is an apostate or heathen is an extremist.

I liked it better when we were witches.
We could turn people like SPLC into toads.

TrickyRicky | June 7, 2023 at 9:27 am

The SPLC seems to see extremists everywhere. Have they looked in the mirror?

Flatworm in reply to TrickyRicky. | June 7, 2023 at 10:58 am

I am reminded of the old adage that if you meet one jerk today, you met a jerk, but if you meet fifty jerks today, you *are* the jerk.

Or, back in the day with the Army if you’d ever been posted somewhere and hadn’t met a fuckpig it was because you were the fuckpig 😂😂

The SPLC should take a memo.
If they currently track 702 antigovernment groups, maybe they should take a few weeks to ask why the government is so unpopular.

Four examples of the pot calling the kettle black:

The Southern Poverty Law Center calls them extremists.
Ted Bundy calls them murderers.
Joe Biden calls them liars.
Lizzo calls them fat.
Hypocrites all!

There is no doubt a lot of variance, but the “we raise them” part doesn’t appear to be universally true. In some cases, government controlled school systems raise them. TV and/or social media raise them. Welfare replaces wage earners in their lives, while propaganda rep[aces knowledge.

In the 1980s I owned a book aimed at writers about creating science fiction settings. One of the chapters was about different kinds of societies and family structures a writer could use, and one of the examples was “After birth, children are raised by a communal creche instead of their biological parents.”

At the time I thought that was ridiculous; what mother would give her infant over to complete strangers to raise? And yet that’s exactly what we have today. Day care centers staffed by minimum wage single mothers take children as young as six months so the parents can work.

The SPLC is a racket that opposes all conservative views

Valerie in reply to Steven Brizel. | June 7, 2023 at 10:07 am

You could just end that sentence with “racket.” Conservative has nothing to do with it. The SPLC has been hijacked by a group of useful idiots.

CommoChief in reply to Steven Brizel. | June 7, 2023 at 11:07 am

Yep. The SPLC is a grifter organization full of far lefty hacks that for some reason is still treated as a serious outfit. Of course some people still take Al Sharpton seriously so…

A terrorist group calling another group extremist. Thats the funniest thing I have seen on here.

Okay, now I am positively convinced that someone from the Babylon Bee is in control of the SPLC. It’s the only thing that explains this.

It’s just another far-left organization that is not worth paying attention to.

‘Extremists’ on the right get called anti government.
Shouldn’t extremists on the left be called anti America, because they are.

Not enough groups in Texas

What do (and did) all tyrannical governments have in common? They protect the guilty and persecute the innocent. That is how to objectively gauge and understand the role of the SPLC and why it is profitable for them to spend all their time on compiling lists.

The Dustin Inman Society and Georgia has a pending case against the SPLC and has survived a motion to dismiss.

It’s all about the hustle, by hateful people wearing fake halos.

From the Center for Immigration Studies in 2019:

“According to its most recent financial statements, the Southern Poverty Law Center’s war chest has now surpassed half a billion dollars. As of the fiscal year ending October 31, 2018, the SPLC had $518 million in total assets, up from $477 million on last year’s balance sheet.”

With that kind on money involved the temptation for criminal activity is almost as high as graft in big city politics.

Perhaps some state AG or prosecutor will someday investigate and find some of the leaders guilty of financial crimes.

If so then some of the victims of their smear campaigns may at least obtain financial compensation through subsequent lawsuits.

Some Parents Lives Considered (SPLC)

I read an excellent article by Matt Taibbi on the “Censorship Industrial Complex” that conspires to shut down opposition to government priorities. The SPLC uses its power to label parental groups as extremist hate groups in order to impose a cost on anyone that chooses to donate or join these groups. The SPLC is part of the censorship industrial complex.

Yep, I’m an extremist because I want my children to grow up and be good and decent people. Which means they won’t be on the left.

Gee, I feel kinda overlooked. How do I get my name on SPLC’s “extremist” list???

E Howard Hunt | June 7, 2023 at 2:16 pm

It’s a badge of honor to belong to a hate group if what it hates is a bunch of child molesting perverts.

SPLC is a Marxist organization, always has been

Southern Poverty Law Center Designates Parental Rights Groups as Extremists

Good grief. I would hope THEY ARE extremists – particularly against marxist hate orgs like the SPLC.

1. An organization that incites a person to attack a charity is an extremist organization.
2. A follower of the SPLC was incited by the SPLC to attack Focus on the Family, a charity located in Colorado Springs, CO.
3. Therefore, SPLC is an extremist organization.

They also supplied the target information for the terrorist attack against the FRC. And when called to account they claimed it was outrageous to suggest their false and denigrating propaganda aka hate lists were a recommendation of whom should be targeted for criminal violence.

This is what needs to happen.
“MONTGOMERY, Ala. (Legal Newsline) – An Alabama federal judge has refused to dismiss a defamation brought by border control advocacy group deemed a “hate group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center.”

My multi-decades-long efforts as National Master-at-Arms of the Student Revolutionary Strike Force has been unsuccessful at having our esteemed pack of patriots labeled as a “hate group.”

Collectively we have more than ample hate swarming though our minds, with most of the pure, unadulterated hate aimed directly at that evil, vile, perverted Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

It would be with great pleasure that our bayonets ready to poke them in the butt to prod if required would compel that filthy herd into the labor camps where their sentences would vary dependent upon guilt levels. The worst of those traitors will spend the rest of their vile lives at HARD LABOR. Lesser amounts of guilt will have shorter to much shorter sentences.

The entirety of SPLC’s huge horde of wealth will be confiscated and used to secure the borders and round up and deport invaders within the USA. Thorough investigations of individuals and corporations remitting huge amounts of wealth to the traitor evil SPLC may result in more workers in the labor camps and additional seized funds.

Have a nice day!!!

Wish me luck with acquiring the coveted SPLC-delivered “hate group” label. An honorific to be proud of!!!

So, would this not make the PTA also an extremist group too?
