Georgia Democrat State Rep. Anne Allen Westbrook Says Every Child in the State is Hers

“Who is my child? Every single child in Georgia. Every single one. Without exception. Not just my own. Not just the ones that I gave birth to”

A Democrat state representative named Anne Allen Westbrook declared that every child in the state is hers during a debate on a bill providing scholarships for parents to pursue school choice.

Westbrook opposed the bill, which failed to pass, but her declaration was very telling.

FOX News reports:

Georgia Dem takes heat for claiming every child in state is hers: Does she ‘understand how creepy this is?’

Twitter users scratched their heads at a Georgia Democrat’s spiel during a State House discussion on the state’s SB 233, also coined the Georgia Promise Scholarship Act, that failed to clear the House of Representatives before the end of legislative session on Wednesday.

“The question that came to my mind is: Who is my child? Every single child in Georgia. Every single one. Without exception. Not just my own. Not just the ones that I gave birth to,” Georgia State Rep. Anne Allen Westbrook said while discussing the state’s Senate Bill 233.

School choice advocate Corey DeAngelis posted the clip to Twitter, where users weighed in on Westbrook’s take.

“Does she even understand how creepy this is?” Rep. Nick Freitas, R., a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, commented.

Another user joked, “Her child support payment must be ENORMOUS.”

“These people don’t understand the difference between advocating and actually being the parent,” a third said.

Others criticized Westbrook for allegedly touting a Marxist concept that the state supersedes parents, a common criticism among parental rights advocates that swept school board races last year and continue to push to make their voices heard now.

Here’s the video:

If this sounds familiar, it should. Back in 2013, then MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry talked about how kids belong to the community. Watch:

Lots of people on the left believe this. It’s collectivism. In other words, communism.

Fascists usually believe that other people belong to them. It’s a Democrat tradition.

    She’s not merely a fascist – she’s a megalomaniac and likely a malignant narcissist.

    Perfect for destroying your children.

And she sucks as a mother. How can you leave your children in a school where the majority are below grade level in all subjects?

Or should I say, only the ones you sent to Government schools are failing. Your favorites go to good schools. Mom, why won’t you let me learn?

Nah, they ain’t

I am reminded of the painting I saw in the Kremlin. It was of Lenin, seated in a garden with arms out to welcome the little children coming to him. Government is mother, father, and family. Uncle Joe, Uncle Chuck and Aunt Nancy will take care of you. Elian Gonzalez is now a communist politician in Cuba.

Stalin would be SSOOOOO proud of her!!

Democratic slavery, circa 2023.

Which is worse? The fact that she believes this? Or that a depressing number of parents seem to agree with her?

Remember how many parents go meekly along with insanity like masks for babies, CRT in school curriculums, getting dangerous shots for kids who are at practically zero risk of getting the Wuflu, etc.

There are many women who will gladly allow the state to parent their children. That way, they don’t have to worry about the “Dadbod” sleeping next to them, snoring and sweating after a hard days work.

Johnson did a great job of creating the welfare state so that the family could be destroyed. More than 75% of black children are born without a father in the household. White children are catching up.

All playing out exactly as Senator Danial Patrick Moynihan predicted at the time. And got called a racist for his troubles.

Noting that a policy is landing harder on the black slice of people seems like something the disparate impact lawyers should be after. What’s the DoJ doing lately?

The question is one of irresponsibility.

Many parents of the leftist persuasion are more than happy to have the state relieve them of responsibility of the children and thus the ‘ownership’ or right to make decisions for and about them.

Freedom from personal responsibility is the nirvana of the left.

Vladimir Lenin: Give me the child for 8 years and I will make him a Bolshevik for life. Dems know their people.

Marxism is out to indoctrinate your children, teachers and government both, to turn them into their religion.

Marxists are indoctrinating your children at every level. This is why the Teachers Unions and Dems fight so hard to keep Public Schools as the only option and curriculum secret. Public schools they control.

This is great, Democrats. Keep campaigning on this “your children belong to the state” plank. It makes a perfect compliment to your “being victimized by criminals is just part of the the charm of city life” plank.

I would respect her as an enemy if she were saying what the usual crowd here is accusing her of. The truth is more mundane and depressing. In keeping with the feminization of society, this dim-witted dame is shooting for pathos (think the Arthur Miller’s All My Sons line “They are all my sons.”). She is, like most semi-educated white females, running on pure emotion. Even she doesn’t know what the hell she means. She simply feels she can win arguments by showcasing deep emotion, and she fancies she’s delivered a dramatic home run here. The only answer is for men to start acting like men again and keeping their women in line.

Red-flag that B.

Hey, Annie, does this also include black children, or only white children who grow up with the privilege of attending a prep story school with other white children like yours?

After all, Southern white women have been abusing blacks waaaayyyyyy back to 1619.

Is she then proclaiming herself as equally a parent in every child neglect/abuse/abandonment case in GA? When is she turning herself in to face charges as an unfit parent to those children? Oh I get it she only wants some aspects of parenting as if it is a buffet line. The Cray Cray Karens like this gotta be sent away for evaluation to determine how long their treatment might take, the need is obvious.

Being she’s every kid’s parent, let’s see her pay the bills with her own money.

    AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to TheFineReport.com. | March 31, 2023 at 9:33 pm

Why should she pay bills with her own money? The left has been using taxpayer dollars to fund every kooky project since they started lynching blacks after the civil war.

Democrats have always generous with other people’s money. Never their own.

Does Anne Allen Westbrook also wear tampon earrings like that wackjob Melissa Harris-Perry?

How can anyone take these people seriously? Yet they roam the halls of Congress and inflict their insanity on the rest of us.

Where is the news in this? The State considers every child theirs and as such can do whatever they want with and to them without a parents consent. This has been going on for decades. Such things as take them away for any reason they see fit, give them abortions without notifying the parents, give them irreversible puberty blockers and genital mutilation surgery. Teach them anything they want in schools with no parent input. Put porn books in libraries. Etc, Etc…

I don’t believe either of the videos show something all that nefaious, but they do show is this notion that “if only people joined with me and my ideas”.
Unfortunately, that isn’t the central issue with schooling. The central issue is that school only works when it is a priority of the student, their peers, their parents, their teachers. We don’t need more “Mothering”, we need a sense of urgency that your life, your eventual career, your equity in society, begin with your ability to contribute to society, and not be a burden.
