It’s so hard to keep up with all the double standards enjoyed by Democrats. A daily treasure trove that blinks before me like a slideshow set to .1 second intervals.

We are way beyond the ‘double standard’. It sounds like whining at this point. The fascist left – and our our government – have crossed the Rubicon.

What was ‘double standard’ is now fascist oppression.

Standards-talk doesn’t happen in ordinary life. It seems to be mostly political metaphysics talk.

Kids learn it when they make up rules as they go along in a pick-up game. Standards are established to disqualify the other guy.

It’s not that the standard is there and people wander in to follow it or violate it. The bringing of a standard up is the thing to watch.

You missed one double standard story from last week (to be fair, it wasn’t reported on here):

On Thursday, during a Congressional hearing titled, “ATF’s Assault on the Second Amendment: When is Enough Enough?,” Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) asked Rob Wilcox, Senior Director of Policy for Everytown for Gun Safety… “Mr. Wilcox, If a person lies on ATF Form 4473 and is a user of unlawful drugs, you can get between five and 10 years for that. Is that correct? Is that my understanding?”

Wilcox remarked that the sentence was now actually up to 15 years.

“Why hasn’t Hunter Biden been prosecuted for the crime that he committed?” Tiffany asked.

One Democrat lawmaker interrupted and called the question “totally irrelevant and not germane to this proceeding .”

Tiffany continued, “I understand why you do not want Mr. Wilcox to answer that question. It’s very clear why you don’t want…because there’s a dual system of justice in America. That’s what’s going on right now. And everybody’s talking about it across America. There’s two standards of justice that are going on.”
