Report: Heart Attacks, Strokes On the Rise Among Young Adults
The reasons for the rise? Big Media says depression, mental health issues, obesity, and smoking.
Early last year, there was an astounding report that several life insurance companies determined there was an overwhelming, unexplained increase (40%) in “all-cause deaths” among 18 to 49-year-olds.
From that 2022 report:
Three physician “whistle-blowers” have just released real data from the DoD, drawn from the clinical diagnosis codes. The increases found are from 2021, compared to the five year average from 2016 to 2020.
- Myocardial infarction: 269% increase
- Miscarriages: 300% increase
- Bell’s palsy: 291% increase
- Congenital malformations: 156% increase
- Female infertility: 471% increase
- Pulmonary embolisms: 467% increase
- Neurologic abnormalities: 300% increase
- Cancers: 300% increase
As of now, the CDC has not explained this data.
One year later, United Press International (UPI) finally published a story noting that there is an increase of heart attacks and strokes in young adults.
Stories like Conway’s are becoming more common, with studies showing heart attacks and stroke are on the rise among Americans younger than 40.
Certain healthy habits can help prevent heart problems — but getting younger adults to accept their risks remains an obstacle.
“It is alarming that younger people don’t feel that they’re at risk for heart disease, but it’s not surprising,” said Dr. Laxmi Mehta, director of preventative cardiology and women’s cardiovascular health at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center.
“Most young people think heart disease only happens in old people, but that’s not the case,” Mehta said in the release.
Explanations are being trial-ballooned. For example, poor mental health and depression:
Young adults with depression or overall poor mental health report more heart attacks, strokes and risk factors for cardiovascular disease than their peers without mental health issues, new research shows.
The findings, published recently in the Journal of the American Heart Association, add to a large body of evidence linking cardiovascular disease risk and death with depression, but leave unanswered questions about how one may lead to the other.
Obesity and smoking are other factors that are being cited.
Obesity is a major risk factor for heart disease, and it is becoming increasingly common among teens and young adults. This is due in part to the rise in fast food and sugary drinks, as well as a lack of physical activity. High blood pressure, another major risk factor for heart disease, is also on the rise among young people. This can be caused by obesity, stress, and a diet high in salt.
Smoking is another major risk factor for heart attacks in teens and young adults. Nicotine and other chemicals in cigarettes damage the heart and blood vessels, making it more likely that a person will have a heart attack. Smoking can also lead to other health problems such as lung cancer and emphysema.
And while all of that may be true, one can’t but help wonder if Big Pharma is putting pressure on the media for exactly this type of coverage. The recent revelations published in the Twitter Files demonstrate the enormous power of the pharmaceutical industry to silence data and disappear information that doesn’t fit the covid vaccine narratives.
As a reminder of why many people remain skeptical of these “explanations,” I will note that countries in Europe have nixed the vaccine for children and teenagers, asserting the risks of vaccination outweigh the risks of infection.
Australia’s former deputy chief medical officer said the country should reconsider its stance on giving the dose to children above the age of five.
The UK has stopped offering the vaccine to healthy children who turned five after August, while Sweden no longer recommends it to teenagers aged 12 to 17.
In Denmark, since July no one under the age of 18 can get vaccinated against Covid, with health officials saying very small numbers of children get severely ill from the disease, and therefore vaccination isn’t necessary.
Additionally, Florida’s Surgeon General Joseph A. Ladapo issued a warning to young men receiving covid vaccines, based on an analysis by the state’s health department that indicated they pose an “increased risk” of cardiac-related death.
“Today, we released an analysis on COVID-19 mRNA vaccines the public needs to be aware of. This analysis showed an increased risk of cardiac-related death among men 18-39. FL will not be silent on the truth,” Ladapo tweeted.
Therefore, I am not inclined to automatically accept the recently published explanations for the obvious rise in cardiac incidents amoung our young people. I would like numbers to be crunched and case histories to be reviewed, and then information disseminated by true scientists who did not participate in pandemic hysteria and who also do not have tight, fiscal connections to Big Pharma.
It's time for a new generation of leadership in public health. This time with a better appreciation of the scientific method and less prone to panic and authoritarian excess. This generation failed its key test and cannot be trusted with the public's health.

A lot of people are dying from coincidence these days.
A lot of people will die in the upcoming war with China.
Dying from or dying with coincidence? There is a difference!?! 🤔😂
They’re all dying of Suddenly.
“The reasons for the rise? Big Media says depression, mental health issues, obesity, and smoking.”
But whattabout climate change, stroke season, and peniculating deterioration of the frammistan? Come on, guys, show some imagination. Use a frickin’ AI or something.
These “experts” addressing an extremely significant increase in these diseases with the non sequitur, “well, young people can get this disease, too” sound exactly like all the other NPCs we have come to recognize in the health “industry.”
Total mystery I tell you, and Doctors Hear Noevil and See Noevil can’t figure it out
Is the German spelling Növil?
“As of now, the CDC has not explained this data.”
Well, because it wasn’t CDC data, but DoD data. And the data was in error and has been corrected.
“One year later, United Press International (UPI) finally published a story noting that there is an increase of heart attacks and strokes in young adults.”
The increase in heart attacks in young adults has been ongoing since at least 2000, mostly due to the rise in obesity.
We may not respond to replies to this comment as we are often shadow banned on Legal Insurrection.
Gee, nary a mention of Pfizer and its mRNA pandemic….
Add to that the interesting (in a frightening way) new type of “blood” clots that are being discovered post mortem.
The spike is pathogenic. The mRNA keeps it in play.
And the lapdog media are strangely incurious as to the fact that this coincides with the clot shot rollouts.
Correlation does not imply causation, but it does mean you damn well should look under the hood and try to figure out what on earth is going on. Something is connecting the two.
Is there anything climate change can’t do. If we’d only heeded AlGore’s warnings none of this would be happening.
Right, because we would all have been dead well before now of exposure, malnutrition, and warlords.
Percentage increase news is garbage without the absolute figures, and, by the way, also the reverse. Each fails to give the appropriate context to judge it by.
The temperature here has risen 200% since this morning. Sort of leaves you in the dark.
Correct. This is why Journalism Schools tell their students never to provide both.
I wish I were wrong back in the day sayin: “We’re running a hell of a risk of Thalidomide 2.0, here.”
I’d give this comment a round of applause, but….
The FAA just revised the decades-long heart exam requirement for pilots, quietly, to be more lenient because there is a shortage of pilots. I just discovered a very large report that compared Moderna and Pfizer vaccines and their post-actions concerning Ischemic stroke. Pfizer was 3x more likely than Moderna to cause a stroke. Where are the warnings for the public? I had the Pfizer shots and booster and I had an Ischemic stroke. None of my doctors would even discuss any connection to the shots. If that was my case, how many more victims like me were never included in this study? How many heart issues have never been related to the shots? I believe that someday this will be judged as deadly as the infamous Black plague in the number of deaths it has caused.
There’s a shortage of pilots because the US started requiring 1500 hours to work in the airlines, which almost nobody can afford to pay for themselves. Formerly it was mostly in the low hundreds.
Many airlines, such as Alaska, are contracting to pay for the entire flight training cost plus underwriting the pilots as they transition from smaller to larger aircraft. Air Transport Rating by FAA requires the large number of hours, so new pilots start at small stuff to gain the hours. Because of the hours… military pilots were an easy route, but there is a shortage of them also.
Add the new heart risks from the “vaccines/boosters” and keeping one’s X-Plane talents up to pare may be needed. Yes, one can step into the cockpit of a Boeing jet and land it… well… one can be instructed to get the plane in position for a Cat III auto-landing.
“military pilots were an easy route, but there is a shortage of them also.”
Come on, there’s no shortage of pregnant women. Think outside the box!
No one holding an ATP licence with any kind of rating airlines are looking for will be in the “hundreds” of hours: In fact you’d be incredibly lucky to get any kind of commercial aviation job in an airliner with just 1500 hours flying.
In Europe 250 hours, provided competency is proven. Same time as I recall you need for a commercial license in the US.
250 hours…. a commercial license is limited by weight and performance of the aircraft if not ATP rating. One can get a commercial license flying a Cessna 150.
Rhhaedin, a commercial pilots licence only means you can charge passengers a fee for carrying them.
One will need a heck of a lot more hours, experience and ratings and hold an ATP licence to get anywhere near an airliner and typically one has to pay for those themselves., which is a benefit of an industry that is incredibly competitive with lots of people to choose from for prospective employees.
Who decides to sand bag, manipulate, and demand at a peole for a couple-three years like they’re delinquent teenagers after the whole country shuts themselves down for two weeks when simply asked: “Something’s going on here. Buy us 2 weeks to get a handle on it.”
It’s like they don’t want people to be able to cooperate and collaborate — they need the stupid, irresponsible trolls story to justify what they want to do.
One wonders what Klaus Tru-gates take is on this.
I was required to get a COVID shot. I drove over 100 mph to get the last remaining dose of the J&J in my area.
… and of course, the Center for Destructive Completeness is clueless.
I fear as young people keep dropping dead they will quickly sweep away autopsy one by one to not shot connections.
in 2020, every death was COVID related.
in 2023, every death has nothing to do with COVID vax
Stress and depression have increased because of government malfeasance and the media the last few years. Obesity during this time period would be natural as a coping tool. Tune out government and tv media for starters. Rising social instability is not helping. Everything seems deliberate. As a comedian recently said, ‘people who ain’t never died before are starting to die.’.
I think there are a large number of factors at play here, some mentioned, and Covid shots may or may not be part of the causes. A think Social Media is quite bad for health, perhaps now catching up with the age groups mentioned – depression, obesity, lack of exercise and drug use. When I was a kid, I never had my head down in anything, always outside playing in fields and school yards and speaking face to face. Young people always have experimented with substances, but they are vastly more addictive and dangerous now. The Government’s “isolating” response to Covid, even if the shots are “safe”, has been incredibly bad for health, for all age groups. How can work-from-home all day, with “substances” readily available, be physically better than actually getting out and physically commuting. Aside from things already mentioned, the lead time from symptoms of something to diagnosis and treatment was lengthened materially, which for many conditions can be lethal.
So a lot less people are smoking, compared to a few decades ago, but a lot more people are dying. Makes sense
Obesity is deadlier than smoking.
People get fat when the give up tobacco.
Is it weird that Bill Gates hanging with Epstein (who did not kill himself) is right now, after a couple years’ dormant, crowding out media(**) of last week’s interviews on COVID, the jabs, and next-gen treatments?(*)
If you think the world works one way, it’s weird. If you think it works another, not weird at all.
/Now I don’t want to get off on a rant here, but…
Of course, now that The Zeitgeist is moving off Jabs Uber Alles, Micro-Bill has to position himself “ahead” of the emerging “new” thing he didn’t create. (Micro$oft creates and sustains captive market as they arise from other peoples’ work. This is what they do. This is all they do. And they absolutely will not stop.)
Gate(s)keeper(***) rent-extraction is way easier than doing something new. More consistent revenue, and easier to leverage into “influence” too.
Now, you can’t be a doctor in CA is you dare say something off-message from your training, experience, and observation. The US Feds have floated this, that, or the other banning doing health things off WHO protocols. (Wrapped in caveats and misdirection so they can argue If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”)
(*) Re other treatments — interesting is who was on about these, and when. Peptides are a thing? Kinda like a shield in yr nose that stops resp viruses before they set up shop? (Says Micro-Bill in the memory-holed interview.) So, if that’s adaptive, that could be trained up. (Hint: it is adaptive and can be trained up. Hint: mechanism different from blood-born antibodies.) If that nose-resistance is clearing / shielding, that shielding could perhaps be augmented. (Hint: interventions in development for 3+ years, not funded by the Health System Mongers, of course. One was a nasal spray with cellulose in sterile saline. Early clinical indications that simple saline nasal lavage reduce severity, duration, and fatality rates.)
Yet another meta-analysis on vitamin D dropped last week: immune system regulation — throttle those cytokine storms, and anti-inflammatory help are A Good Thing.
If the jab-treatment only mitigates severity, progresssion, and rates of hospitalization and death from infection, t’hen it’s benefits aren’t all that different from lots of other treatments. It’s mechanism is. And it’s harder to produce and distribute — remember “Gotta get enough of the real-cold freezers out, around, so we can distribut the jabs
(**) Search rankings by buzzy interest are easily gamed by bots, or flocks off circular mutual reference. They don’t even need a JournOList any more to coordinate the message of the day. Progress!
(***) Is it me, or is Micro-Bill looking more and more like the Crypt Keeper? If SNL were still a subversive comedy troupe, they’d make a recurring bit of that one.
I’ve already seen Schwab as Pinhead.
Perhaps I’ll suggest this to the folks at Flip City Magazine (which is sort of a Based Mad).
Oh, that’s good. Or bad. Now I can’t get that image out of my head.
Looks like Ben Garrison already did this one.
A jab’ll do ya
But it looks like DoD has learned from the climate alarmists how best to “fix” inconvenient data: Namely, simply “adjust” the data for past years to make the data for the current year fit your desired curve. For example, current global temperatures too low to show global warming? No problem! Simply “adjust” global temperatures for past years to make the current year appear hot by comparison! Similarly, current myocardial infarction rates too high to hide the fact that Covid vaccines have caused massive spikes in heart attacks? No problem! Simply “adjust” heart attack rates for past years to make current heart attack rates look normal!
Think I’m kidding? I’m not! Per the DoD: “[The] apparent sharp increases [in serious medical conditions in 2021] were caused by underreporting for the years 2016-2020. A spokesperson for the Department of Defense (DoD) told Reuters that due to ‘data corruption,’ the platform showed only a ‘fraction’ of the actual medical diagnoses registered in [the 2016-2020] period.” As a result, the DoD “has taken [the data] offline to identify and correct the root-cause of the data corruption.” See https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-militarydatabase-error/fact-check-dod-says-data-error-caused-spike-in-numbers-of-medical-diagnoses-in-their-medical-database-for-2021-idUSL1N2UY1S2
“Those who control the present, control the past; and those who control the past, control the future.” — GEORGE ORWELL
Well. That explanation might very well be true. It’s too bad our government has given us so many reasons lately not to trust it.
And when they can’t do that for some reason or other, their next tack is to take the current year’s data offline or denigrate it in some other way.
“Well, VAERS is all self-reported.”
“Where did CDC’s page go that had the data on defensive use of firearms?”
There seems to be a big increase in heart /heath issues of what should be healthy young adults. Are there societal/cultural trends at play such as lack of exercise, bad diet and poor sleep? Sure. All those probably worsened during Covid lock downs. Which means all those were present prior to Covid.
What wasn’t present? mRNA vax mandate. Curiously the data on any risk from the manufacturers always seems to be missing, incomplete or tardy. Is that absolute proof that the mRNA are dangerous? No but given the propensity of individuals to move between pharma and regulatory agency roles and the obvious lack of curiosity by regulators in demanding the risk data it is an indicator. Especially when we have to rely upon studies in other Nations for what little data exists b/c our regulators and healthcare systems are so resistant to conducting long-term studies.
I am a simple minded person.. I see the stories on twitter.. there is a special account just about people that died suddenly.. I know there are people here that got the shot,, my twin and her whole family.. I am worried. I am more worried about y’all than I am about getting covid…. I hope the whole sudden adult death thing, the heart attack thing,, they myocarditis thing.. I hope and pray it is BS…
Dial down your worry meter. Severe reactions to the COVID shots are fairly rare, and the more time that elapses from the shots, the less likely any reaction will be. Now, if you or your relatives have been putting on weight in the last few years, that may be something to worry about.
It isn’t BS, but it is likely amplified.
Hope I’m not 🥊☠️🐴 here, but anyone who hasn’t watched Netflix’s “Utopia” yet really ought to. Before they move it from their Science Fiction collection to their Current Events channel.
I’ve looked over Jordan, and I have seen
Things are not what they seem
shots have consequences
Been a number of reports from the Democrats Propaganda Ministry in all forms bringing up Suddenly Dead but dance around all kinds of reasons but the obvious
An amazing number of people got much fatter during the pandemic, and the trend hasn’t been reversed now that the pandemic is over. That is probably the #1 reason for heart related deaths. There may be other causes, but obesity is likely to be deadlier than any of them.
Maybe it was breathing too many times a day. Or climate change or social media. Or laughing too hard at memes.
Or maybe it’s the vax like everybody thinks it is.
Are the obese people dying? I seem to be hearing more about fit young people dying suddenly – usually from something to do with their hearts. Invariably while engaged in some sort of sport or exercise.
THAT didn’t used to happen. I’m old. I remember. Stories of sudden death in young people always made the news because it was so unusual, especially if the death happened during a sport game. Now it makes the news because it’s “another mystery”.
Precisely. It’s become an issue because it’s young, fit, athletic people (athletes in many of the cases). It’s odd and very worrying.
Smoking? They can’t be serious, I’m pretty sure decades of anti-smoking campaigns made today’s 20-somethings have the lowest smoking rates on record.
