‘Is This a Joke?’: U.N. Human Rights Slammed for Praising China’s $800,000 Donation

“What concept of human rights does #china support that you can be grateful for? Or is it only about money?”

Can we stop pretending the United Nations serves any legitimate purpose? I wish. I know this won’t stop anything.

The UN Human Rights office quietly thanked China for donating $800,000. The office tweeted its thanks on Friday, but it blew up on Sunday.

You know, the country that is committing genocide against the Uyghur Muslims in the Xinjiang province. China consistently violates the human rights of all its citizens, too.

China has waged war on Tibet for how long? It still poses a threat to Taiwan. It’s clenching its fist around Hong Kong.

But hey! Thanks for the money!

Everyone crushed the UN Human Rights. I see a few leftists condemning the office, but where are all the Democrats?

What a joke

Fascinating how much loyalty a mere $800k buys in 2023.

That cost more than I expected.

My biggest disappointment in NY pay to play is the low-low prices. One from The Hereditary Proconsul’s reign was about $2,300.

    “I don’t mind a parasite. I object to a cut rate one.”

Okay, label this as “Exhibit A” in the U.S.’s argument to get the hell out of the UN.

Let’s call the case “UNexit”!

Environmental arbitrage, DIEversity, redistributive change, practical and actual slavery, apartheid regime, human rites (e.g. one-child/selective-child), transnational conflicts, etc. #FreeTibet

The UN and transnational community also didn’t aid Crimea to restore essential services following the 2014 coup and retributive change, did not send peacekeepers to Donbas to mitigate progress of Kiev-aligned military and paramilitary forces over an eight year span, and have not challenged the present apartheid regime.

Well, China claims that the very existence of our Second Amendment is a violation of human rights… so there’s that.
