Biden Admin Extending COVID State of Emergency…Again
The pandemic is never going to end.
Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra announced another extension of the COVID state of emergency:
“As a result of the continued consequences of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, on this date and after consultation with public health officials as necessary, I, Xavier Becerra, Secretary of Health and Human Services, pursuant to the authority vested in me under section 319 of the Public Health Service Act, do hereby renew, effective January 11, 2023, the January 31, 2020, determination by former Secretary Alex M. Azar II, that he previously renewed on April 21, 2020, July 23, 2020, October 2, 2020, and January 7, 2021, and that I renewed on April 15, 2021, July 19, 2021, October 15, 2021, January 14, 2022, April 12, 2022, July 15, 2022, and October 13, 2022, that a public health emergency exists and has existed since January 27, 2020, nationwide.”

The government has extended the state of emergency every 90 days since President Donald Trump issued it in January 2020.
The state of emergency “has protected public health insurance coverage for millions, provided hospitals with greater flexibility to respond to patient surges and expanded telehealth.”
I’m grateful for the latter. The drive to some checkups lasts longer than the checkup. Doctor: “Medicine still working?” Me: “Yup.” Doctor: “No concerns?” Me: “Nope.” Doctor: “Okay see you again in three months.”
Also, I know when I have a sinus infection. Easier to do telehealth with the walk-in clinic.
Anyway, I wonder if an outside force is pressuring the Biden administration to keep renewing the state of emergency.
In August, Becerra told officials “to start preparing for an end to the emergency in the near future.”
Then Biden made his “pandemic is over” declaration in September.
But man, that power is something, isn’t it, Becerra? In October, he said depending “what the virus does this winter would determine whether or not the emergency needs to continue.”
Gotta stay vague. That way, you can keep extending the state of emergency. Everyone is freaking out about Omicron XBB.1.5. They’re also finally freaking out about the flu, which is horrible every year.

They opened pandora’s box with this virus, and it is going to be like this for years to come now. People are dropping dead in age groups that normally don’t all because of the “jab” and the fear porn over the variants manufactured by all the vaxxed people will perpetuate this whole mess nevermind the fact that the “jab” is also causing many other issues.

Two days ago, it was reported that Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker issued his 38th COVID-19 disaster proclamation, extending his emergency powers into his second term through Feb 5.
When the newest proclamation ends, Pritzker will have held emergency powers for 1,060 of 1,483 days in the Governor’s office or over 70% of his tenure.
Watch for NY, PA, NJ, MI, WI, and CA to follow suit shortly. It’s all about retaining power for the Governors.

It will keep on going because of the change in humanity and the virus it’s self. I’m human version 1.0, anyone with the jab is human version 1.1 or higher now because of the gene therapy “vaccines” they took. We have a pandemic of the vaccinated now and that is on many fronts: new variants generated by the walking petri dishes, new/more cancers, new/more rare diseases, infertility, and allot of un-knowns yet to be seen. We are ALL screwed, including the egomaniacs in charge because the great equalizer is death.
wHitler lost in Michigan supreme court over the mask mandates and such. But the state went into the liberal wilderness last election. Who knows how bad it’ll get with those assholes in charge now.
Most Americans have moved on except the cultists who make up the Branch Covidians. Almost everyone I know who wore masks and got vaccinated have told me that they have seen enough of these ham handed approaches are also ready to move on. Yet the division will be more regional. States, like here in Florida will continue to thrive and attract new residents and business while occupied states will continue with their draconian “medical” decisions.
Of course they extended the state of emergency. Otherwise, what else would blame their crappy economy and tyranny on?

Covid 19 is like the Clintons, once in the system they never go away.
You can’t end Title 42 and still say we are under a Medical emergency.
The emergency is nobody knows who’s in charge.
One item on the legislative agenda for this Congress must be to propose a statute that requires the approval of Congress after a time to continue ’emergencies’ that expand Federal govt authority. The Executive can’t be allowed to run wild. Many in Congress like it this way because the Executive is taking the blame and these Members don’t want to make tough choices.
True emergencies do require the Executive to act unilaterally as immediate response, no amount of forethought can conceivably cover all possible contingencies. We can’t tie the Executive’s hand so that they can not respond, perhaps a 21 day limit as the outer band. That said the Executive must then be required to submit their proposals to Congress for approval. This endless emergency without any limiting principle is absurd.
With a growing number of votes needed to extend it past 21 days in units of 21 days, such as 3/5 or 2/3 as it drones on.
Sounds good. Simple majority to take it to 45 days total (including the first 21 days), then 60%, for an additional 60 days, then 2/3 for an additional 90 days with a recurring 2/3 required every 90 days with two extensions available, then it dies until after the next election cycle.

Hold on… so I just watched football the past three weeks with packed stadiums, but there is still an “emergency”?!!!! Logic and common sense doesn’t support continued emergency powers. Public and government unions should be suing right now since they are still under the thumb of the restrictions. Everyone and their cousin should be suing.
If there’s no emergency, the FDA Emergency Use Authorizations for the lousy “vaccines” are no longer in force.
Certain pharmaceutical companies wouldn’t like that. The top management of NIH wouldn’t like it either.
