Washington U. Med School Lecturer Warns Students Not to Debate Her on CRT or ‘Systemic Oppression’

“if you try to fight me or debate me, I will shut that s— down real fast”

For this lecturer, it seems these topics are not up for debate. If you were a student, wouldn’t you challenge this?

FOX News reports:

Washington U lecturer warns medical students not to ‘debate’ her on ‘systemic oppression’: ‘shut that’ down

A lecturer for Washington University in St. Louis’ medical school was caught on camera warning students that if they try to debate her on critical race theory and “systemic oppression,” she “will shut that s— down real fast.”

“I have a really hard time being neutral around issues of systemic oppression,” Kaytlin Reedy-Rogier told a class of medical students this past semester in a video exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital. “So oftentimes you will know how I feel. This does not mean that I am opposed to hearing other perspectives. I would like to be very clear about that: I am always willing to engage in dialogue with folks that may disagree with me. Always.”

“And I will not think less of you, nor will I try to fight you or debate you. And in fact, if you try to fight me or debate me, I will shut that s— down real fast,” Reedy-Rogier, who holds a master’s in social work, added.

Reedy-Rogier serves as a member of the school’s “Understanding Systemic Racism Team” as a co-lead, according to the university’s website.

The lecture is part of Washington University’s “Health Equity & Justice” lessons, which is included in the medical school’s required “Gateway Curriculum” that was rolled out in 2020.

“At Washington University, we are advancing human health as a diverse and inclusive community, inspiring learners to create the future of medicine, science and society. Our goal is to produce physicians who are leaders in medicine, science, education and advocacy,” the medical school’s website states of the curriculum.

Aaaaand….she’s a white chick.

They are well on their way to achieving one out of four stated goals.

What’s the difference between Kaytlin Reedy-Rogier and an Islamic fundamentalist? One is a bug-eyed dead-ender fanatic unable and unwilling to tolerate alternate points of view. The other is a guy who lives in the Middle East.

I dated, briefly a chic with an MSW. Batcrap crazy in everything and that included the bedroom. Only good quality but I was in my late 20’s so what can I say. She also turned me off of all that Social Work nonsense when I saw just how unethical that entire field is.

I can’t imagine the sludge that must be taught in a masters program in SW these days. Wait, is it still ok to call is a “masters” degree? I am feeling triggered just writing this.

She will cut off debate because she knows she will lose.

I would like to know more about this lecture. Was it an actual class? Are the med students required to take it? Or is this some sort of indoctrination program?

Quote from the 1973 Woody Allen movie, Sleeper:

Miles Monroe: [Far off, something howls] What’s that? Are there strange futuristic creatures out here that I don’t know about? Like something with the body of a crab and the head of a Social Worker?

It seems these topics are up for “dialogue” in her class, but not for “debate”. I’m not sure on the exact difference she perceives between those two things.

imagine being enrolled in med school(or engineering, or law, or a core science) ie a serious and demanding curriculum and having some stupid bitch like this come and lecture you and your classmates on some grievance subject in which she has a “doctorate”–in this case, she is not an md, has zero apparent experience in the practice of medicine and yet will set the ground rules for a “lecture” to medical students / future doctors about her “vision” of the current/future state of the medical profession

would not waste the brain time to disagree with her, to debate with her, to listen to her

instead, would tell her to piss off–have too many other demands on my time to waste it listening to some “papered” bigot

CRT,…Can’t Really Think.
