San Francisco Election Commissioner’s Term Not Renewed Because He’s White

San Francisco Election Commissioner’s Term Not Renewed Because He’s White

“Our decision wasn’t about your performance, but after twenty years we wanted to take action on the City’s racial equity plan ….” A deeply disturbing trend in which racism against whites as part of an “equity” agenda is openly embraced.

Everyone knows it goes on. It’s the only socially-acceptable form of racism. As we reported, Over 50 Percent of Companies Discriminate AGAINST White Men in Hiring, Survey Finds.

We’ve also documented, and filed a Civil Rights complaint, over open anti-white racism by the Providence (RI) School district in providing student loan forgiveness as a hiring incentive for new teachers, but only non-white new teachers, Providence (RI) Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program Only Open To Non-Whites Challenged By Legal Insurrection Foundation.

Now a report out of San Francisco about the highly-effective Election Commissioner who’s term was not renewed explicitly because he is white.

By all accounts, John Arntz did a great job as Election Commissioner.

But it wasn’t good enough because of his race. Mission Local reports (emphasis added):

Elections director John Arntz, who oversees one of the few San Francisco departments that unambiguously accomplishes its core mission, has not been renewed for his post by the city’s Elections Commission.

By a vote of 4-2 after a lengthy Wednesday closed-session meeting, the commission opted to not re-up Arntz for the position he has held since 2002. The position will come open in May 2023….

In 2021, the Elections Commission wrote to the mayor that “San Francisco runs one of the best elections in the country and we believe this transparent process has allowed us to continue to improve our elections.” In 2020 it wrote him a commendation “for his incredible leadership” …

Elections Commissioner Cynthia Dai, who voted to not renew Arntz’s contract, said there was no performance-based reason for the commission’s decision. She did not dispute that San Francisco has run free, fair and functional elections for 20 years. Rather, she says, it was time to open up this position to a more diverse field; the city, she said, could not make progress on its racial equity goals without opening up its top positions.

Our decision wasn’t about your performance, but after twenty years we wanted to take action on the City’s racial equity plan and give people an opportunity to compete for a leadership position,” reads an email sent from commission president Chris Jerdonek to Arntz. “We also wanted to allow enough time for a fair and equitable process and conduct as broad a search as possible.”

Jerdonek told Mission Local that Arntz’s level of performance did not factor into this decision and he looked forward to a competitive process and a broad array of qualified candidates. His letter invited Arntz to re-apply for his own job next year. Reached for comment, Arntz said he does not yet have a public answer on whether he plans to do so.

The San Francisco Chonicle further reports on the racial angle:

Mayank Patel, division manager in charge of poll workers and field support, wrote in an email that staff were “gravely concerned” the commission was “actively seeking to remove” Arntz….
Patel, who sits on the department’s racial equity task force, expressed concern about commissioner comments that implied they needed a change because Arntz was a specific race and had served in the role for a long time, and argued the process should be merit-based.

The “equity” agenda inevitably turns into racist poison. It’s why Legal Insurrection Foundation will be launching an effort in 2023 to litigate these cases. (Damn, I “leaked”  our big rollout again.)

Nope. In Frisco, that excse might fly. But the problem is his performance. It’s too good. They need more room to cheat and a super competent guy in charge is a handicap.

See, that was my first thought, but… this guy is in charge of a voting polity where Republicans would have to cheat like hell just to make it onto the general election ballot at all. San Franciscans, in particular, are routinely permitted to vote only to decide which Democrat will hold the other end of their chains for their next term. So unless SF has devolved into being a subject territory where competing Democrat warlords fight among themselves for control of the graft, getting rid of this guy to install someone less competent seems a pointless exercise.

Yes, San Francisco has devolved into the tribal trading of power, with the main tribes being Chinese, LGBQQetc, LatinX,and Blacks plus self-hating whites.
The normal, non -politicized citizenry of all races are plied by these radical whack jobs each election cycle and politely bend to whichever leftist wind is blowing at the time.

Somebody working in San Francisco government?

Zero sympathy, guarantee he’s a leftist.

Enjoy getting what your party has been pushing for.

And, Whites will continue laying down and showing their belly rather than push back.

My brother was told they weren’t hiring whites years ago at google. Live in liberal land get booted out by liberal land.

I really hope that John Arntz continues to be a faithful and reliable Dem voter.

Sometimes bigwig Dems just need to publicly display their commitment to anti-racism by shedding someone else’s blood.

“There is nothing more unequal than the equal treatment of unequal people.” — Thomas Jefferson.

He needs to sue BIGGLY

Discrimination against white males has been going on for decades. Preference given for minorities and women is a form of bias that is state sanctioned and has wide spread approval.

Being subjected to this kind of discrimination drives converts to our side. It is amazing how effective Dems are at creating new Independents and Republicans.

Now if they had said he “didn’t fit the culture” or expressed concern whether he could handle “modern technology,” that would have been safe. Both those are euphemisms for age discrimination, which is just as socially acceptable (if not more so) than antiwhite discrimination.

So I had to read this sentence twice before I realized she was serious: “We see here the unintended consequences of valuing equity of outcome over equality of opportunity or merit.”

“Unintended consequences”? Hardly.

    Fuzzy,

IMO, many of the devotees of this push for diversity really don’t go past the surface level. For them it is about the idea of getting an opportunity for a previously overlooked person. They think in terms of the benefit for that person. Obviously that’s not a very thorough analysis on their part. They assume the previously overlooked person is competent. They assume that person was overlooked due to prejudice.

They don’t consider the negative consequences at all. For someone to be accepted then someone must be removed from their current position. If an open position then where their candidate for the position has lesser qualifications they will bump a more qualified candidate.

Much of this is magical thinking filtered through emotion and ideology not logic. IMO, what this example demonstrates is how they admit to being concerned about the policy only when they are faced with the reality. The lefties want what they want, just like children.

Now realize. This man not only voted for this. He cheated people out of fair elections and wished for this moment and made it happen for thousands of other white middle class people. He is a cultist whose time has come to drink his poison.

Shoot, I was told flat out in a job interview 30yrs ago that I was the most qualified person that had applied but couldn’t be hired because I was a white male in my 20’s and they had to hire woman and minorities only. I’ve zero sympathy for people who push for a system then get burned for it. However, he should sue the city over this racist policy to make a point, take the ton of cash he will win and move out of the state

A few years ago I was put forward for teacher of the year. I was young enough to be excited. I won district TOTY and regional TOTY. I was then told that a straight, white male that I wasn’t going past that by a guy my principal tapped to give me advice. It was, as far as I know, my first contact with that kind of thing.

” Over 50 Percent of Companies Discriminate AGAINST White Men in Hiring, Survey Finds.”

These are the companies that advertise “we are an equal opportunity affirmative action employer”.

What has the EEOC done in these employment cases where whites have been discriminated against? Has the EEOC investigated any of them and made any rulings?

You didn’t hear …?? Biden admin changed the name of the EEOC. The first “E” now stands for “Equity.” They think that SF politics should be the model for ALL employers.

People of Peach. A Person of Peach. A peach man. Albinos are white. The Rainbow (a hate symbol) represents a [violent] shredding of white, of albino men, women, and children. I wonder if they can be detected in the womb a la Down Syndrome.

That said, Diversity (e.g. racism, sexism, ageism), Inequity, and Exclusion (DIE) is legal doctrine under the established Pro-Choice ethical religion.

So, now they can rescind the termination but open the process to all applicants and chose someone who is non-white. Problem solved, racism intact.

To illustrate how long this has not only been going on but actually open policy, in ’82 I started grad school at a mid sized, rural Midwestern U. I applied for a part time clerking job at the admin in order to have money to live on. After interviews they said they were pleased to tell me I was their top choice; however, they were “obligated” to first offer the job to two “historically disadvantaged” applicants but if neither of them accepted then I could have it. They said this with big smiles on their faces but their mouths dropped open when I refused, got up and left. This was a grunt work job, not academic, and I still went to the bottom based on being a white male. That was 40 years ago.

Diversity, Inclusion & Equity always means illegal racial discrimination against Whites to obtain more of other groups, esp Blacks into the whatever. That’s what it’s about. That’s what should end.

Simple, Mr. Arntz should identify immediately as a black transgender left handed albino with diabetes. He’s home free!

This position is opening up just in time to recruit the Colorado night club shooter. He fits their hiring criteria and needs to be compensated for the violence he was forced to commit as a result of all the discrimination against him and others like him.
