FBI and Air Force Raid Area 51 Researcher’s Homes
“All my laptops, phones, memory sticks, cameras, drone and other items were seized.”
Add UFO enthusiasts to the ever-expanding list of Americans who have had their homes and businesses raided by the FBI.
This time, the FBI was joined by the US Air Force.
Joerg Arnu, the operator of Dreamland Resort, a website dedicated to Area 51, said his homes were subject to a “humiliating raid” by the Air Force and FBI, who seized all his computers, The Sun reports.
Anru said a “combined team” of the FBI and Air Force Office of Special Investigations searched his Las Vegas and Rachel, Nevada, homes and that “each location saw at least 15-20 agents rummaging through our homes and about eight vehicles.”
“I will spare you the details,” he wrote, “but it got quite tense and humiliating for me in Rachel and for my girlfriend in Vegas.
“All my laptops, phones, memory sticks, cameras, drone and other items were seized.”
German-born Arnu is a naturalized U.S. citizen who has devoted much of his life to understanding Area 51. His website, dreamlandresort.com, is loaded with photos and videos of the base and anything flying above it.
Arnu owns a home in Las Vegas but bought a place in tiny Rachel, Nevada so he could be close to the action.
…Since the mid-1950s, Groom Lake has been the location of choice for the testing and development of America’s most advanced military technology, including spy planes, drones and cutting-edge sensor systems. Dreamland, one of its many nicknames, is a magnet for civilian watchdogs, aerospace enthusiasts, the UFO-curious and most likely spies.
Arnu is not anti-government, nor is he anti-secrecy.
“I came to this country because I love this country and I became a citizen to support this country,” said Arnu. ”I would never do anything to hurt this country, but I don’t understand what is going on right now.”
He said he has always been careful to screen out content that might cross the line and expose something that is legitimately classified. But, he learned the hard way that something on his site had apparently gone too far.
The agents were not exactly gentle in their quest for Area 51 items.
“When it was all over I was left in Rachel with two broken doors, broken furniture inside the house and zero means to communicate.
“Our Vegas home fared a little better, with only a broken front door and torn down blinds.”
Arnu said that in the process, he has lost “ALL my data, medical files, financial and tax records, passwords, everything”.
“To the best of my knowledge I have not broken the law,” he said.
Arnu indicated that the search warrants were not very specific, but aerial photos of Area 51 and other installations were cited. He expects to pay thousands of dollars to repair his home.

Is there anyone out there who is not a Dem socialist, that doesn’t see the handwriting on the wall and have remote backups of EVERYTHING?
This is not America. Meanwhile China buys up land next to our military bases…. No problem. But a ufo kook? Unless there is much more to the story there was a much better way to do this. FBI=Stassi=gestapo.
But, if he was flying drones over the restricted airspace he had pictures of classified equipment.
If he’d been doing that and they knew it, they never would jhave bothered toget tjese vague and empty warrants They would have first arrested him for the criminal tresspass, national security breaches, prolly invented some thin air about defense secrets, and hauled HIM off first. They they’d have had grounds to comb everything pertaining to their imagined “crimes”.
More importantly, is there anyone out there wondering what has happened to freedom? We (Boomers and our parents) believed we were living in a free country for decades. To me it seems like we are all pawns, property of our government and subjected to their rules and demands. They give us the illusion of freedom at the same time they are trying to control all aspects of our lives. To some I may sound like a nut case but I am far from alone. Between our leaders (yes, we actually call them leaders) and powerful non elected entities such as the WEF and the UN and others, we have very little left in the way of freedom. We may believe we are free until we cross some invisible line – a line that may have just been drawn for us – just like what’s happened to Joerg Arnu and countless others.
If more people understood the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution perhaps things would be different. If there ever was a time when We The People of these United States were living under the rule of a tyrannical government, it is most assuredly now.
Innocent until proven guilty entails endless persecution in the meantime. This country has gone way off course.

Donning the tinfoil hat…I’ve noticed something in the past few years…Unidentified Flying Objects are now known as Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon. That right there tells me it is some secret government project and there is nothing there other than the image of something that is not flying, but more than likely a holographic projection against an ionized portion of the atmosphere, used to confuse an enemy. Two years ago, drove out there to the closest gate. It’s an unmarked, unpaved road. They know you are coming as soon as you pull off Highway 375. Saw a cloud of dust from a vehicle 10 miles ahead sent out to intercept me. I knew they watched you, I didn’t know they came at you that early. Made me a little nervous, kept going. Just before we reached the same point in the road, it parked to the side and watched me pass. Several miles later I got to the gate – not the main gate, but the closet you can get before being arrested. Two more white pickups pulled up on a hill maybe 300 yards ahead of me to see what we were up to. They used to have signs saying they’d shoot you if you ventured past the signs, those are long gone.
Anyway, this government hates its citizens more than anyone on earth.
I live in Nevada, a couple hours from Rachel. You must be talking about the back gate of Area 51. I drove there also around the same time you did and didn’t see anybody, even when I was just outside the back gate. Guess you must have looked suspicious! Maybe they were bored and decided to mess with the civilian!

I would imagine that there is no legal liability to the FBI when executing a search warrant. They can rip the place apart if they so chose.

No knocks are for military raids for military reasons. They have no place in civilian life.
The DOJ and FBI should move their HQs to Hollywood. They would fit in better socially.
Bottom line up front: Don’t want to be “humiliated” by being investigated and searched? Don’t spy on US military research installations.
The disgusting and illegal actions of the FBI in the political realm has the reasonable effect of bringing all of their actions into question. Unfortunately, that poisons public perception of even their legitimate actions.
But the legitimacy and necessity of protecting our national defense information from compromise is beyond question, and that’s one of the FBI’s specifically assigned responsibilities.
The desires and curiosity of “civilian watchdogs, aerospace enthusiasts, the UFO-curious and most likely spies” or even self-styled sovereign citizens do not outrank protecting the security of US military technology.
The fact that the activities which occur in that restricted area are highly classified is very well publicized as are the public laws which apply. These people knew they were playing with fire and reveled in it (some indeed profiting financially from it). They are reaping what they sowed.

Yup. Then there’s the fact that the current “president” and senate minority leader are China whores, and the Clintons have been selling classified cutting edge military technology to China since the 1980s. Kinda negates the whole “protecting our national defense information from compromise” thingy.
If you’re not in or over the restricted area and happen to see something the military doesn’t want made public, that’s their bad.

I know military bases and facilities. NO ONE can get anywhere near anything significant or sensitiv because the facilities are SO vast you cannot SEE anything sensitive from two-thirds of the base’ lands. They also carefully select the sites of these facilities based on their terrain. Multiple layers of hills, valleys, lakes etc make any direct sightings impossible, and even with drones flown along the perimeter there are stkll impossible blockages to seeing anything of import.
This guy was selected to be labelled a burr under their saddle blanket to make an example of huim. He was poking his head up above the normal terrain enough to have attracted their attention. Bullies that they are, they played nasty.

To answer your first question: NOWHERE. In fact, much of that period’s writing came down as strong warnings against precisely this and similar forms of tyranny.

I know, loyal American and all, but this could actually be about some major classified information he posted somewhere. Or at least had acquired pictures. And if he acquired it by flying a drone over a military installation, then he definitely broke the law.
Having said that, it’s amazing that the last several years have made me hesitant in even offering that defense of the gov’t “investigators” involved here.
Come ONN man… if they KNEW he had anything f significance they wojld not have bothered to get a search warrant. Nope. It would be an ARREST warrant and they’ have hauled him away in irons and locked him up. THEN the raid in his two homes would have been the normal follow-on to his arrest. The fact they did not arrest him is proof they were on a fishing expedition . Sort of lkme the old kid’s song The Bear Wetnt Over th Mountain.. to see what he could see.
This case may involve a bit more “poking of the bear” than others, but it’s interesting to note that it’s just been announced that there will be no prosecution of Rudi Giuliani, after their investigation that involved a 6:00 am FBI raid to confiscate all his electronic devices. “Never mind”.
Also now seems like the raid on Trump’s records has produced a nothingburger.
