VIDEO: FL Gov. Ron DeSantis Surprises Lynyrd Skynyrd Concert Goers

“USA USA USA!”

This video made the rounds earlier in the week.  Florida governor Ron DeSantis made a surprise stop by a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert and had the crowd on its feet and chanting “USA USA USA!”

You may recall that Lynyrd Skynyrd penned the song “Sweet Florida” as a tribute to DeSantis’ leadership and love not just for Free Florida but for our great country.

The Independent Journal Review reports:

Move over “Sweet Home Alabama” — it’s all about “Sweet Florida” this year. And make no mistake, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Lynyrd Skynyrd fans are basking in the change of state.

According to Breitbart, DeSantis made a surprise appearance on stage with his wife Casey and his children as the legendary rock band was playing in Hollywood, Florida, on Sunday night.

The governor came out on stage to wild applause and a spontaneous chant of “USA! USA!” from the audience.

That’s not something you’d see at any Democrat rally, concert, or event because Democrat leadership,  politicians, and the fanatically anti-American activists who surround and influence them loathe this country and all that it stands for.

Most Americans, including many who still vote for Democrats, love our country and don’t want it “burned to the ground” so that it can be “fundamentally transformed.”

DeSantis gets that, and it’s one of the reasons he’s so immensely popular in the Sunshine State (and across the nation).

I love this! Lynyrd Skynyrd is one of my all-time favorite bands, even though some of their original members died in a terrible plane crash.

This is but one reason why Gov. Ron DeSantis should be our next president. He has far more appeal than Trump. Working class, grass roots Americans know this. Sweet Home Florida!

Please watch this. This is why DeSantis will be our next President, not Trump.

Oh, Absolutely Not! Trump is the only person who has taken the slings and arrows for us, as he still does, day in and day out… for us!

Most of Trumps money comes from small donors, DeSantis has 200,000, 000 $ stock piled already, the vast majority from big donors, the IT giants. He is literally beholding to them. He just put in a program spending hundreds of millions on “Green” energy vehicles for the state.

He is part of the cabel, clearly. He is just in a a more amenable wrapper.

He has done some good things, he certainly got Florida through a terrible hurricane, up and running, below cost and ahead of schedule ( and yes, that’s a Trump thing) He handled China flu well…

But he hasnt had any of the slings, arrows 24/7, the entire military, media, education, FBI, CIA, all the so called security agencies, DOJ, back stabbed, traitors, that President Trump has had to deal with and CONTINUES to deal with

FOR US… FOR US…

DeSantis wouldn’t even had won if President Trump hadn’t supported him and got him across the goal line.

Trump 2024, he will win for the 3rd time…

Don’t forget, Paul Ryan LOVES him some DeSantis

Can’t make this crap up

Connect the dots people

And who has been transversing the Country working day and night for the Republican candidates , putting millions where his mouth is because “the club for republicans “, headed by McConnell and Romney’s girl, have pulled money out from under many of the leading MAGA candidates They would rather lose to a Democrat, same as they are in reality, then let the people’s choice in

Trump, it’s always been Trump and his support has shown that 95% of the time his endorsement is what the people trust, Trump is our Lion, DeSantis, follow the money, always , follow the money.

You all want the new pretty boy on the block, the one the arrows haven’t sullied his shirt yet. The one you really don’t know how he will respond as ALL the powers that be come down in him, and oh yes, they will.

Ya all kind of make me sick to tell the truth. Ya all remind me of 2008 when I was working the phones calling for a political race and all these people kept telling me, “but Obama is so cool”. They wanted the new cool kid on the block. Well, we got him and he has destroyed the country, pretty much as cool kids are apt to do.

But he has hundreds of millions from the the good old boys… President Trump used his money and the peoples donations.

What does that tell you? What should it tell you I should say.

I watched some of that rally but, although I supported Trump and still have a Trump sign in my yard, I hope someone else runs in 2024 and Trump plays kingmaker doing rallies and endorsements. He has been so maligned and so many believe that nonsense and lies of the MSM and Dems that he might be the only candidate that could lose. Not because of what he stands for or his policies but how he will be attacked.

AND YOU DONT THINK THEY WILL ATTACK THE NEXT GUY?

Jesus, open your eyes, President Trumpmis the ONLY one who has stood up to this crap, on a daily basis day after day after day

      For US!!!

And you want to throw him to the curb cause YOU can’t stand it

      Coward.

These guys are milking the Skynyrd brand. They’re a review band.

After the accident the original band and a few new guys reformed as Rossington Collins and went on tour – a swan song kinda tour. They gracefully faded away.

Didn’t another member die in a motorcycle accident? Maybe he was severely injured.

related genre

Little Feat ended with the heroin overdose death of Lowell George. No one was very surprised by that. He’d been a semi-functioning junky for years. Cold, cold, cold was a song about drug abuse? Maybe. Its been forty years. I refuse to go looking for facts and figures. Forty years. I’m over it.

But that doesn’t stop former members from milking the brand. They stumbled along for a while. I think the Little Feat (Review Band) still tour, George died in ’78-79? van Zant in ’76?

They now down fifths of Geritol like it were cheap whiskey.

I wonder what it takes to wrest arms from the warm, live hands of Lynyrd Skynyrd fans?
Apparently, not much.

Ann Stone, treasurer of the Alachua County Republican Executive Committee. ““We didn’t make the rules,” she said. “But we have to live with them.” Uh, actually you do since you organized this event and agreed to DeSantis’s terms. I’m disappointed but not surprised as I doubt there are any national stage politicians that would allow firearms at any event. If something happened it would be a public relations disaster, ND or whatever. I’m not sure what the State Police are doing, though getting in on this and asking for a direct violation of the law unless they are in charge of security and are relaying the DeSantis campaigns demands. It is a voluntary event, however. If you don’t like the rules don’t show up, I wouldn’t and I’d make it clear to the DeSantis team.

      All true.
But what needs to be recognized is that it doesn’t matter “who made the rules.”
If the rules contravene actual LAWS, they’re illegal.
Republican politicians whine about “rule of law” but when it comes back to bite them, they just ignore it.

Heh, reminds when Team Obama removed the cutlery from the tables of Latino/Hispanic supporters because . . . um, forks and butter knives are scary.

And just for balance, guns have been banned from Trump rallies and speeches, too. The left made a huge deal over it at one point because it was an NRA conference where Trump was speaking but it wasn’t the NRA who banned them, it was the Secret Service.

Again, true. But the Trump situation was a federal issue, and Texas had no such access law. Florida has precisely such an access law, and the governor of Florida was a supporter of it. Now, when it applies to him, he sweeps it under the rug, like Democrats do to the constitution on the federal level. It’s not a good look.

I hear you. I just think it’s unwise, given how much he is loathed by the left (and by many on the right), to wander onto a stage with his family not knowing who is carrying. I wouldn’t do it, and I’m a huge supporter of the Second Amendment, would you? These are not normal times, and if we look at history, the political assassinations aren’t far off (it’s probably surprising none have happened yet, no?).

Not sure who thinks Jeb Bush is important in anything but I’m not surprised a former Gov of Florida is supporting the current Gov of the same party. It’s odd that Cavuto would have him on. Besides, you have no control who runs around claiming they support you. I though we had put that to rest with Trump.

Really? You think it’s accidental the Club for Imbeciles is coming out daily to support DeSantis?

You think it’s because DeSantis is governor of Florida?

    Lol
