Poll Finds Voters Blame Biden and Dems for Recession, Despite White House Spin

Poll Finds Voters Blame Biden and Dems for Recession, Despite White House Spin

“Democrats inherited an economy that was primed for an historic comeback, and promptly ran it straight into the ground.”

Despite the best efforts of the Biden administration to redefine recession, the American people aren’t buying it.

According to new polling from Rasmussen, voters blame Biden and Democrats for the recession, which is actually happening.

Paul Bedard reports at the Washington Examiner:

Voters: It’s Biden’s recession, drove economy ‘into the ground’

President Joe Biden can hide the recession ball no longer.

In the latest economic survey from Rasmussen Reports, 62% now believe that the economy is in recession, including nearly half of Democrats.

And in rejecting Biden’s attempts to blame inflation on Russia’s war in Ukraine and his effort to redefine what a recession is, a majority of likely voters believe that former President Donald Trump gave him a surging economy and the Democrat promptly drove it into the ground.

Rasmussen cited Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s criticism in setting up a question about Biden blowing up the economy. McConnell said, “Democrats inherited an economy that was primed for an historic comeback, and promptly ran it straight into the ground.”

Asked about that, Rasmussen found that 59% of voters agreed, including 45% who strongly agreed with the Kentucky Republican. Thirty-five percent disagreed.

Anyone surprised?

Our completely shameless media did their best to parrot the Biden White House on the question of a recession. This is stunning to watch:

Here’s one other important detail from the new Rasmussen poll via the Texas Insider:

An overwhelming majority of 91% think the Economy & Inflation will be important in the 2022 Congressional Elections, a result mirrored in various other surveys.

In other words, it’s still the economy, stupid.

Democrats are playing almost their entire hand on January 6th, with climate change as the ace in their back pocket.

They may regret it in November.

The would call it a depression if President Trump were in office (as he should be).

I love how these montages show the coordinated leftist message in the so called unbiased media. Particularly Lemon’s head nodding in rapt agreement like he is bobbing for monkey pox.

The Democrats would only call this a recession if it meant people isolating indoors again with remote voting for this “emergency”.

Recessions don’t poll well. They would only call it a recession if they knew they could blame-shift it onto republicans.

White House Spin: The buck doesn’t stop here. We are not responsible. It’s not our fault. We can’t do anything.

The Question is: Where does it stop? Who is responsible? Who can do anything?

The Answer: Nobody knows. So what good is Biden? He doesn’t know what is going on and can’t answer any questions. Neither can any White House Spokesperson.

We have a ship without a Captain. And it at appears there is no rudder. The crew are clueless and THERE IS AN ICEBURG AHEAD.

Illegitimately placing a dementia-ridden, retarded pedophile into an office he was never qualified for has it’s consequences.

Off topic but Trump just had a spectacularly successful election day this week. Swept AZ which bodes well for the war against RINOs in 2022 and 2024. Trump endorsements defeated almost all McConnell and Pence endorsed RINO opponents.

Trump could only endorse candidates that the state GOP offered so there are a few stinkiers (Dr Oz e.g) but even they contributed to esconcing Trump as the defacto King Maker for the GOP. With DeSantis scoring big scoring major victories on issues that weigh heavily nationally, the steam roller is gaining steam fast.

Suddenly, the RINOs are feeling the flames licking their butts. Yesterday, Cocaine Turtle finally confirmed that he considers himself as untouchable as GOP Senate leader and dared the Trumpers to “bring it on”. He wouldn’t be talking like that if he wasn’t worried.

Today it’s former President Cheney apparently stepping in to declare Trump the biggest threat to America in history calling him a big liar.

It’s time for LI to start getting into the game. Please start covering the progress of the biggest grassroots movement in history. We’ve never had anything like Trump and/or DeSantis and now we have both at the same time! We can’t talk about that?

Pay attention to the operative word and tense

They RAN it into the ground.

The damage we are now enduring is and was always deliberate, calculated and is the ultimate goal.

It is not and never was the result of ignorance, stupidity, being “out of touch”, failed policies or any of that.

More evidence is Manchin and Sinema. They played a good game but in the end proved themselves to be the typical lying liberals they always have been. ( keep Tulsi on that list no matter how many conservative noises she makes)

At the ultimate end of the day, the real blame goes squarely to the GOPe/RINO.

Always remember, don’t put a leftist on a polygraph because they will pass it. They really believe in what they do and the “righteousness” of their cause. They made it clear long ago they had a “mandate” to “fundamentally transform” the USA and I challenge anyone to show me where they have not moved heaven and earth to achieve that promise and have never wavered in their desire or intent. ( doesn’t mean they don’t lie/steal and cheat but they view that as a necessary thing because of all the “evil” we represent and you have to do bad things in the “war” for righteousness that they vision themselves in- its about perception with them)

It is the GOPe/RINO who constantly LIES and acts like the serpent in the garden pretending to be on our side until the moment of truth.

It is the GOPe/RINO who ENSURED the election steal would be successful.

It is the GOPe/RINO who stopped all of the MAGA policies and sabotaged.

It is the GOPe/RINO who has REFUSED to pursue and hold leftist criminals accountable for their acts

And the list goes on

We cannot afford to lose focus on who the real enemy is. Remember, “we” beat them in 2016 and for 2 years held all the cards. The “left” didn’t stall all the efforts- the GOPe/RINO did.

Didn’t really take a poll to make this determination, in fact it warmed-over some of the insanity and stupidity intentionally occurring under this regime of morons who couldn’t find their rear-ends with Google maps and an iPhone flashlight.

Somehow we have to get rid of McConnell (among a pile of other scumbags), that guy is a decrepit old man neck deep in the swamp waters, he’s no different than Schumer and Pelosi. We require new – younger – blood to right the heeled-over ship, righteous mutiny is necessary. And with another bright spot of hope being AZ, even with the Rhino’s attempt to steal that election yet forced to concede as knowing eyes stared them down, daring them to try [again] at 2AM.

Here’s a blast from the past, pre-2020 election: Why Real Reason They Want You To Hate Trump”:

https://rumble.com/v1ei56l-the-real-reason-they-want-you-to-hate-donald-trump.html

If you don’t see how the dominoes are beginning to tumble in our favor and why the left seems to have gone all in out of desperation, you need to watch this again.

“They” won in 2020 yet here we are with Trump sweeping through the elections against the Swamp despite everything being rigged against him. Sorry, but those of you who don’t see America’s strength at play right now are really missing the boat.

TrickyRicky in reply to Pasadena Phil. | August 5, 2022 at 9:26 am

I sincerely hope you are correct.

The thing that keeps me going Phil, is the belief that America is not a land, not an institution, but a people deeply committed to a common ideal. The enemy can burn the land and institutions to the ground, but as long as the people endure, we will replant and rebuild. There are a lot of people living in the land that is America who are not American in spirit / creed. I must believe that we outnumber the enemies within that we will not will not bend the knee to anything less than the spirit of America.

Shameless doesn’t even begin to describe the media. These people assemble daily and patiently engage with a sub-moronic, lesbian negress with a ridiculous name. They accept the same forced smile and cocked head sputtering inanities as she riffles through a 3-ring binder hopelessly buying time to formulate a guarded and meandering response to any question.

The establishment and d/prog remain trapped in their bubble. They as members of the laptop class were largely untouched from the economic consequences of Rona mania. They are largely clustered in coastal metro areas so they have access to public transportation and don’t purchase fuel at the same rate as middle America. Their much higher incomes provide insulation from the economic choices others must make. This affluent class isn’t replacing steak with hamburger because they have much higher levels of discretionary income.

IOW the establishment/laptop class and their allies in legacy media, academia and govt have yet to be impacted by the economic pain the rest of the Nation is enduring. Sure they pay the same higher price we do but with much higher discretionary income it’s an annoyance v disaster. They simply can’t relate to the damage their policies are causing because they are not experiencing the consequences at the same level. Election night in Nov, I expect the tears to flow, the faces to be long and the mood sour when the election results roll in as the average voter passes judgment on the economy.

taurus the judge in reply to CommoChief. | August 5, 2022 at 10:35 am

Wow, great minds do think alike- agree 100%

    Now to the dark side.

We STILL have the threat if the GOPe/RINO enabled steal to deal with so we must make sure those votes count

CommoChief in reply to taurus the judge. | August 5, 2022 at 2:07 pm

Poll watchers and election observers in every precinct with effective Attorneys on speed dial prepared to execute the appropriate response to whichever variety of shenanigans the d/prog attempt.

That requires volunteers and funding along with a commitment to war game the varieties of shenanigans from across the Nation and develop responses based upon the elections laws and precedent of each State. Merely voting isn’t enough. Either we are willing to do what it takes or we aren’t.

Progressive prices (“inflation”) forced by single/central/monopolistic solutions, ESG ethical religious standards, coups with borders and their follow on sanctions without borders, social contagion spread through publishing, steering, and democratic convention, fiscally liberal policies, and Green deals.

Alternate take on this poll: 35% of the US population is either so biased or so stupid that they think the Dims have done a good job on the economy. Scary. Think about that: more than 1 in 3 Americans would follow this mental retard off a cliff.

Fat_Freddys_Cat | August 5, 2022 at 3:14 pm

I just hope they don’t try to get themselves out of this pickle by starting a war.
