MSNBC Brings on Peter ‘Insurance Policy’ Strzok to Vouch for FBI’s Integrity

“Absolutely the American public should trust what the FBI is doing”

Following the raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, faith in the FBI has been shaken to the point where even Victor Davis Hanson says the bureau is “beyond redemption.”

MSNBC’s Morning Joe decided the best way to deal with this was to bring on former FBI agent Peter Strzok, best known for texts about the “insurance policy” that was supposed to keep Trump from assuming office in 2016.

Who is a better choice to restore America’s faith in the FBI?

FOX News reports:

Peter Strzok defends FBI after Trump Mar-a-Lago raid: ‘Trust what the FBI is doing’

Former FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok, who was fired for his texts attacking Donald Trump while leading an investigation into Russian election interference, defended the integrity of the FBI after the raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.

“Absolutely the American public should trust what the FBI is doing,” Strzok said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Monday. “It’s not that the FBI is targeting any one side or the other. What you see is the FBI going out on a day-in, day-out basis objectively investigating allegations of law.”

FBI agents descended on Trump’s Florida home last week, seizing classified records, including some marked as top secret, according to a warrant and property receipt unsealed Friday. He is being investigated by the Department of Justice over whether he violated three federal laws, including the Espionage Act…

Strzok told co-host Joe Scarborough that it was “funny” there was “no outrage” from Republicans when he was working at the agency as he and his colleagues used search warrants and combed through former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails. Clinton’s correspondence at the State Department came under scrutiny because of her use of a private email server for official governmental communications.

This is just further proof that the left doesn’t give a damn how bad this looks. Furthermore, Strzok’s comparison to Hillary doesn’t hold any water because the FBI never raided her home.

Choosing Strzok as a guest for this segment was not random. This is MSNBC and Morning Joe rubbing it in the faces of disgusted Americans.

Gee, Beelzebub singing the praises of Lucifer

How sweet.

Looking at this guy I sometimes think that might be quite literally true. The guy’s mannerisms are… creepy.

So one corrupt agent vouching for the rest? Sure.

    Even MSM gets it..

According to the most recent survey by Gallup on the topic, public trust in the FBI has fallen in recent years. Where 57 percent of U.S. adults said that the FBI was doing either an “excellent” or a “good” job in 2019, this fell to 44 percent in 2021.

“Fallen?” I think cratered might be a preferable word.

I don’t agree. I think they’re just completely clueless. If the honesty of the judiciary were under attack, they’re just the sort of idiots who would bring Alcee Hastings on to tell us how scrupulously honest his erstwhile colleagues on the bench are.

Wow, that’s desperation.

|“Absolutely the American public should trust what the FBI is doing,” Strzok said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Monday. “It’s not that the FBI is targeting any one side or the other.”

This may be true, the house the J. Edgar Hoover built is probably targeting everyone. They’re only punishing the ones that don’t play ball.

Just like Old Man Hoover would have wanted.

Nothing says integrity like the guy who used a fake dossier and falsified evidence to try to railroad a president.

You can’t make this stuff up.

The Left and the corporate media, but I repeat myself, are completely out of touch with most non-Dem Americans. Including independents.

No one not already afflicted with TDS who has been paying any attention the last 5-6 years would consider Strzok model representative of FBI non-partisan integrity and honesty.

    No, you cant.

I used to think they were just liars but after the last 4 years specifically I am really starting to believe they really do believe their own crap.

They really aren’t lying- they are flat out delusional. They really believe themselves.

“I’m Strzoked, STRZOKED, that anyone is questioning the integrity of the FBI!”

“Your planted evidence, sir!”

“Thank you very much. EVERYBODY keep searching…!”

What a punchable face, his head would be improved on a pike.

Strzok suggested a “cocktail party” with FISA: U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras in a July 25, 2016, message to FBI attorney Lisa Page… Days later, on July 31, Strzok opened Crossfire Hurricane.. the FBI’s planting lies on Trump.

Strzok handled the fake Clinton email investigation / cover-up

This is NOT a piece endorsed by Newsweek. It is a guest opinion by Mike Davis, the former chief counsel for nominations to then-Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, a Republican Senator from Iowa. So they have NOT lost Newsweek.

I’d like to point out that Newsweek *allowed* the opinion piece to run. They’re normally 100% in favor of censoring conservatives so the only thing that shows on their pages (even opinion) is far-left and left.

A disgraced former Agent, guilty of adultery which doesn’t enhance any claims for his commitment to integrity, is the guy MSNBC picked to tell the FBI= good guys story? These people in the Beltway echo chamber are sorely lacking in self awareness, among other things.

Comanche Voter | August 16, 2022 at 5:22 pm

I wonder if his wife trusted this adulterous twit. As for me I wouldn’t believe Peter Stroker Strozk if he told me the sun would rise in the east tomorrow.

Someone needs to ask joe there what the statute of limitations is for murder.

Or maybe they could ask the intern they found dead in his office

The Propaganda Ministry and Deep State work hand in hand

Subotai Bahadur | August 16, 2022 at 9:23 pm

If Peter Strzok is a spokesman for the integrity of the regime and its minions, the coup is in progress.

Hey Pete, have you stopped cheating on your wife?

Ferret Face

Isn’t that pathetic, MSNBC parades out a corrupt former FBI official to tell us we should trust the FBI. Give me a break. That’s the best they can do?

    Dimsdale in reply to Photoman42. | August 17, 2022 at 9:36 am

Strzok and Morning Joe (and MSNBC in general): don’t two bad jokes cancel each other out, or is there a multiplicative effect?

I am a sinner every day, and in need of salvation. Today because – for more than any other reason – I hope Strzok dies a horrible death of spontaneously combustible monkey pox…his next time on air.

Seems fitting.

Ha, ha! Stop hitting yourself. h/t MSNBC

The big thing to remember about Strzok is that he was a part of the mobbed up Boston FBI field office. Look up Whitey Bulger.
