Parents Sue Virginia School Board Over Concealing Student Gender “Transitioning”
“Parents—not public schools or government officials—have the fundamental right to direct the upbringing, care, and education of their children”
Parents and some teachers are suing the Harrisonburg City Public School Board over a policy that doesn’t tell parents if their child starts questioning their gender.
According to the suit, if a child so much as mentions this, staffers immediately start using different pronouns for the child and none of this is shared with parents.

Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys representing a group of parents and teachers are suing the Harrisonburg City Public School Board for usurping parents’ right to direct the upbringing of their children and forcing school staff to violate their religious beliefs by affirming the board’s view on gender identity. Upon a child’s request, school district policy requires staff to immediately begin using opposite-sex pronouns and forbids staff from sharing information with parents about their child’s request, instead instructing staff to mislead and deceive parents.
ADF attorneys filed the lawsuit, D.F. v. Harrisonburg City Public School Board, last week in the Rockingham County Circuit Court after sending a letter in January informing the board its policy of hiding information from parents when students express discomfort with their biological sex at school is unconstitutional. The policy resulted in the school district implementing “Gender Transition Action Plans,” which clarify that students’ families will only be involved where it is deemed “appropriate.”
“Parents—not public schools or government officials—have the fundamental right to direct the upbringing, care, and education of their children,” said ADF Senior Counsel Ryan Bangert. “Teachers and staff cannot willfully hide kids’ mental health information from their parents, especially as some of the decisions children are making at school have potentially life-altering ramifications. As the clients we represent believe, a teacher’s role is to support, not supplant, the role of the parent.”

In Wisconsin, one school district implemented a “gender support plan” that deceives parents, while another school district openly defied parents’ express wishes.
Do school boards really think parents are going to be silent and just accept this?

Whether the parents accept this depends on whether the parents are on the same page.

If I had a nefarious plan for population control, I would groom 5 year-olds to believe they were the opposite sex.

Trans- refers to a state or process of divergence from normal. Transgender refers to a state or process of divergence from sex-correlated gender (i.e. physical and mental attributes)) through medical, surgical, and psychiatric corruption.

I think Paul may have had a different meaning, Just as at the childrens’ funerals in Uvalde, Texas they had cops from other jurisdictions there, along with a charitable motercycle group providing security for the families from reporters [because the Uvalde cops may not have come away from the surviving families intact]; one or more parents may decide that the school personnel have functionally sexually molested their kids under cover of the law and take matters into their own hands. When the law refuses to protect children, parents may well step in.

Seems like this is the end result of Hillary’s “it takes a village” screed, but in this case, the village is Provincetown, MA, or Key West, FL.

The fact that none of these teachers or school administrators are in jail is the worst part about all this perverted lunacy – which has been going on for YEARS, now. Not a single one of these criminal perverts has even been arrested. That is shameful and pathetic. It’s like the insurrectionist riots of 2020 taking place in most public school systems every single day … for YEARS. Sheer, unadulterated, criminal lunacy allowed to run amok and harm the most defenseless among us.
One of the many things that will come to a screeching halt in having a Republican president and a dominant majority in the house and senate and to hold on it not for just 2 years. It’ll take at least 6 years minimally to re-center the government financially and have all these leftist policies back to reflect a common sense of reality.
I believe Harrisonburg used to be quite conservative, but that was several decades ago. It’s a shame what’s been creeping into our society/culture.
