‘Old Politics’: Biden Recycles ‘Ultra-MAGA’ Scare Tactics Over Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid

“How do you sleep at night knowing you willingly left Americans in Afghanistan?”

No self-awareness inside Biden’s administration. Like we needed another example to show us that the administration does not care about anyone.

What. The. Actual. Dude.

No one believes Putin has caused our problems. No one believes everything is racism, sexism, ableism, or all these -isms.

Some underling that works for “New World Order” aka The Globalists. These sub-humans feel oh-so-superior to the rest of us and have far too much money, all of it made in devious and unethical ways.

It’s the same old story. World dominance….. (yawn) and our earliest recollection goes all the way back to Caesar; and you know what happened to him!

Add local educational and law enforcement systems, in particular, burdening local budgets. What do school systems do with perhaps 2 million kids that probably need the resources of Special Ed children.

Wait, let me guess… They’re gonna put y’all back in chains, right?

That comment sooooo pissed me off when he declaimed that. Same with the idiot Harry Reid speaking of Obama: “He’s clean! He doesn’t have a Negro dialect!”

Our ‘Vegetable in Chief’ is back to the old scare playbook of the late Fl. Congressman Claude (Red) Pepper. In his day it could work.

Every time they’re about to lose, they bring out this old fear mongering playbook and claim Republicans will push Granny off the cliff if elected. Aside from the fact that it’s utter nonsense, it never happens when Republicans do win. But they keep trotting it out anyway.

In light of this administration’s policies that have directly caused record inflation, record gas prices, food shortages, and all the other economic and social adversity afflicting the nation, this is beyond ridiculous.

No matter what we might think, the people actually making these decisions aren’t stupid. They know what the results of their policies are going to be and the only conclusion is that they’re intentionally doing these things and causing these pains.

They keep trotting it out because they know their voters.

The dems actually ARE pushing granny and grandpa off the cliff. I’m a veteran and rely upon the V.A. for medical care because Obamacare was too expensive for me.

I have had a medical procedure to treat a problem delayed for 18 months already and they have not told me if it can be done at all. The V.A. doctor actually suggested I go to a private doctor to get the procedure done, because the V.A. “procedure” room is closed for lack of staff and has been for a long time.

Also, I have another medical condition which occasionally makes me very sick. I had to visit the ER for it earlier this year. Took me FOUR MONTHS to see a physician with the V.A. for this “emergency.” Forget about the procedures I need to fix it.

I love medicine as a bridge!

The Medicare trust fund reserve runs out in 2026 and SSI in 2034. At that point only current year revenue will be available to pay out. As Biden might say it is ‘a big effen deal’.

Solutions though, practical solutions that Congress might pass v kicking the can again? Not so much. It might be best to use the coming disaster to revoke the programs and replace them with a sustainable alternative.

Get ready for the breathless reporting of mean r who don’t care about Grandma and will throw them out on their own. The d/prog will play up their giveaway ideas as virtue and cast r as the villains. Until we stop playing along those lines they will continue using the same playbook because it is effective.

As long as you grandfather me, it’s all good. I’m less than year from retirement. I will still be working because I have to, and also because I want to, but I paid atrocious amounts for this crap, all of which I objected to the entire time.

I ain’t in charge. Those who are would likely endorse a sort of ‘Logan’s Run’ style solution. Recall that the ruling elite had exempted themselves from the Sandman……

Looks like the retarded pedophile-in-chief doesn’t quite get it. His party controls everything and all of that is his problem, not the opposition’s.

Need an iron claw to pull the demented idiot off stage and trot out the idiot VP. At least she……..

    Ah hell, never mind.

    Grandfather you?
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
They will ALTER the deal now that it is their turn to deliver on it.
Pray they do not alter it further.
(Note: praying, not praying, all the same to future Democrat mayhem.)

Republicans and conservatives shouldn’t be afraid of taking about taking away Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. After decades of fiscal mismanagement all the programs are huge drivers of deficit spending and with the ridiculous self-inflicted inflating by the idiots in power are now wholly unsustainable. They should put the entire onus back on the Democrats who blew up all three programs.

Close The Fed in reply to chrisboltssr. | June 15, 2022 at 10:30 am

As soon as they quit giving money to foreigners, including those living among us, I’ll bite.

henrybowman in reply to chrisboltssr. | June 15, 2022 at 12:24 pm

Meanwhile, our Republicans, who should be feverishly turning “Ultra-MAGA” into a recruiting and campaign slogan, are staying busy by going out and golfing bogeys.

SS, Medicare and Medicaid are not under any consideration for life beyond their fiscal problems. These three programs will continue because politically, they must. Democrats will be quite happy to be put in charge of the future of all three because these three are Democrat born. Republicans will not be allowed to touch any of the three and they know it. The logic and facts of their viability after a certain date will be meaningless.

“Ted Cruz and other Congressional Republicans pushing ultra-MAGA policies are going to vote on whether you’ll have Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid?”

As opposed to Democrats, who will vote to “keep” these programs by name, all the while devaluing them to the point where they are worth nothing to anybody.

Hey Basement Joe, how do YOU sleep at night, after sleeping all day?

Steven Brizel | June 15, 2022 at 12:58 pm

Democrats have been recycling Herbert Hoover and scare tactics re Social Security , Medicare and Medicaid for decades

The issue is not progressive costs, but progressive prices, and normalized dysfunction. Selective subsidy or universal affordability and health care? That is the question.

As for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid (e.g. Obamacares), one of these things is not like the other.

LOL! Democrats been using that lie since my Grandma was a toddler.
