Bryn Mawr College Ends Investigation of Racist Graffiti With No Suspects

“[the investigator] was unfortunately unable to definitively identify who committed the acts”

Of course, the school used this incident to expand their left wing race-based programs. It’s almost like that was the point.

The College Fix reports:

Bryn Mawr closes ‘racist graffiti investigation’ without any suspects

Bryn Mawr College officials recently closed an investigation into two incidents of “racist graffiti” found at the end of January and in early February.

The Pennsylvania women’s college hired an outside attorney to investigate the graffiti. The school’s original message and May 10 update does not provide specific details on what the slurs were.

The college announced:

After a comprehensive evaluation of all known and available information, including keycard records, text and social media messages, Campus Safety records, scene photographs, handwriting exemplars, and interviews with 22 individuals (several of whom were interviewed multiple times), Ms. Holland [the investigator] was unfortunately unable to definitively identify who committed the acts.

Based on the similarities in conduct, location, and timing of the two incidents, and after consulting with an expert in handwriting analysis, she believes that the two defacements were committed by the same person.

Bryn Mawr leaders are committed to using these incidents to further “build expertise and capacity to promote learning about racism, anti-blackness; to support BIPOC students.”

The college will “facilitate healing for individuals and our community.”

Students will be required to learn more about racial issues through “the new requirement for undergraduates to complete a course exploring Power, Inequity, and Justice.”

“Hate speech does not belong at Bryn Mawr College,” the school stated. “We had hoped that that the individual responsible would come forward, in keeping with the tenets of the Honor Code, or that Ms. Holland would have been able to gather sufficient evidence to identify the individual.”

“[the investigator] was unfortunately unable to definitively identify who committed the acts”

Translation: we found out who it is and it would be embarrassing to reveal.

And then they’ll say they’re all trying to “heal” and that it’s an opportunity for “courageous conversations” or some other L Ron Hubbard sounding gibberish that passed for smart-people-talk today.

We checked the security tapes and saw that minority students had spray painted the graffiti themselves and we just don’t need the kind of grief that revealing that would bring.

Seriously, can anyone remember the last time one of these “no harm/symbolic Hate Crimes” happened that WASN’T a hoax? (I’m talking “nooses” that sometimes turn out to be garage door pulls, Jussie Smollett hired attacker things, not horrendous violent attacks like happened in California and Buffalo over the weekend.) Every college campus case of car or dorm vandalism, racist emails or offensive posters in dorms that I can recall in the past dozen years or so has turned out to be perpetrated by one of the alleged victims. Even with the recent shootings, the demand for racism continues to exceed the supply.

You can’t and if it had actually happened you would because the news cycle wouldn’t shut up about it for weeks.

“the demand for racism continues to exceed the supply.”

Everyone needs to revisit the 60’s classic “Mau-mauing the Flak Catchers” to see how long this scam — this fraud, this con-game — has been going on. “You can’t con an honest man” is the other thing to bear in mind.

Look at who benefited the most from this incident, and you will have your perpetrators. The most likely candidates are the DEI administrators and their student race-baiters, and members of left-wing “antiracist” organizations.

They need this kind of hoax periodically to allow them to require more indoctrination such as “the new requirement for undergraduates to complete a course exploring Power, Inequity, and Justice.”

Back in the early ’70s, National Lampoon used to run a stable of counterculture cartoons in each issue. One I’ll never forget, drawn by an artist I’ll never remember, was entitled ARISTOTLE.

There are two barrels on a deserted beach. Supermodel-quality chick dressed in castaway garb walks up to them. Looks in the left one. Says, “Nothing in this one.” Then just continues her walk.

When I saw this story, I thought immediately of this cartoon.
Bryn Mawr: We checked all the white people, and couldn’t find the culprit.

They can’t say what the racist graffiti was or whodunit. Mm hmm. Yeah right.

When do we get to finally admit that this whole diversity thing — specifically, shoehorning minorities into colleges that they have no business being at — is a colossal failure?

Bryn Mawr attracts a lot of frumpy unattractive broads.
