Leftie Journos Cheer Biden’s Call For Regime Change In Russia … Until The WH Walks It Back

Mark Knoller: “Tops Reagan’s 1987 “tear down this wall” speech.”

On Saturday, an addled Joe “I’m the Democratic Party” Biden declared that Putin “cannot remain in power,” effectively establishing a U.S. policy of regime change in Russia.  This is a potential disaster for Europe, the U.S., and the entire Western world already on the brink of another world war.

In some alternate universe that I am completely incapable of understanding because it defies logic, reason, and geopolitical/historical savvy of even the most scant kind, leftwing pundits heard Biden change long-standing U.S. policy toward Russia on the doddering, incompetent fly . . . and thought it sounded masterful, historic, and just about as leg-tingle-inducing as anything they’ve ever heard in their lifetimes.

Who’s up for a little World War III?  Oh, these people.

I don’t need to tell anyone here that President Reagan was calling for the end of a split Berlin not the end of a (then) Soviet leader or his regime. In fact, President Reagan appealed to the Soviet leader to tear down the wall; he did not call for Mikhail Gorbachev to be removed from power.

This is not an insignificant difference. One is an effort to establish democracy by publicly urging the Soviet leader to act of his own accord; one is an off-the-cuff near-declaration of war on Russia, or at the very least, a call to . . . whom? someone somewhere? . . . to remove Putin from power. We know who President Reagan was appealing to, who he asked to tear down the wall. Who exactly does Biden imagine is going to remove Putin from power?

Then, within minutes, the White House walked back this shocking and potentially explosive demand for regime change in Russia.

These leftie World War III-mongering hacks of Twitter were deflated. Actually upset that the White House scrambled to pull us out of yet another fire due to yet another unforced Biden error.

Some of them even lashed out at the White House for trying to moderate Biden’s insane comment.

Okay, that last one is kind of funny. But seriously, did these people think about what Biden said, what it meant, how Putin and the Russian people would hear it? This is not communist-hating JFK identifying with East Berliners’ longing for freedom; this was a U.S. president declaring that he wants regime change in Russia.

Oftentimes when the giddy leftwing fanbois and girls go all atingle over some Democrat’s speech, I can see their point even if I don’t agree, but this time, I can see no way to hear that statement from Biden and see it as anything but a foreign policy disaster.

The White House walking it back should have been a clue to the clueless, but they were dejected and frustrated. I have no words.

You can’t be a lefty and have anything like human reason or compassion. All they have is npc programming. All. That’s it. They accept the new program and parrot, no matter how incompatible it was with last month’s programming. That’s why it does no good to show them their hypocrisy.

Also, in their minds, it is other people who fight and die. Not them. Poor people. Dirty, stupid, deplorables. And they want that.

Even lemmings are ashamed of the leftist media.

It wasn’t even on the prepared speech, just the drooling moron spewing whatever garbage enters in his head without understanding that he’s not just an idiot Senator, now he’s the fucking President and his words have global implications.

This is who Joe Biden has been his entire adult life. Bullshitters are gonna bullshit.

Stuytown in reply to TargaGTS. | March 28, 2022 at 1:01 pm

Olisner and TargaGTS, I think you are giving far too much credence to the idea that Joe Biden even knows what he’s doing, where he is, or who he is. He’s not “bullshitting.” That requires some degree of savvy or awareness. He’s saying what he believes without even understanding that he’s President of the United States.

“For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.”

I say the same thing every day about the pervert at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

‘Sell out Joe’ should be muzzled and medicated before he approaches a mic.

“For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power” is Biden’s “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall” “O wretched Man that I am, who shall deliver me from this turbulent Priest?

There fixed it for ya.

Nitwits at the Los Angeles Times got the memo late or didn’t read it–and they were slobbering all over Slow Joe on this morning’s front page–sort of Jennifer Rubin style.

If I were the president and some little minion told everybody that what I said was not at all what I said, I would fire that person instantly. Contradicting the boss is a bad thing.

Who is the boss at the White House right now, anyway?

Martin in reply to irv. | March 28, 2022 at 9:37 am

That is the problem, there is no final arbiter. That is supposed to be the Presidents job. GWB characterized it as the decider. There is no decider since Joe can’t even give as good of answers as a magic 8 ball. So there are factions within the top of the Democrat party and occasionally Joe wanders in spouting gibberish.

The Biden/Maidan/Slavic Spring will be brayed. Meanwhile, there is news from Turkey of a ceasefire. Eight… two years, better late than never for summer at the edge of civilizations. #HateLovesAbortion

Russia did hack the 2016 election and installed Trump and for that they need to still pay.

Wait, I thought we weren’t allowed to talk about rigged elections and fraud? It’s unpatriotic and worthy of treason charges according to the left.

I upvoted your “s/” FWIW…you definitely got more than one person though!

Where are these lefties when the shooting starts?

You know where they’ll be, behind their mommys’ skirts.

AnAdultInDiapers in reply to kjon. | March 28, 2022 at 11:10 am

On this one, they’ll be turned into a shadow on a brick wall just like the rest of us.

It’s not as though they thought this through and prepped.

I have to side with leftist media and blue-checks on this one; the speech, indeed, was akin to JFK’s “I am a jelly donut” speech, making the German-speaking citizenry smirk when such asinine words are uttered.

I don’t like Putin. But you can’t mouth off at him like this unless you have A) the ability to0 do something about it and B) the will to do it.

This guy is a disgrace. Cornpop, if he existed, kicked this worthless piece of shit’s ass. And Biden like he’s hoping we don’t find out.

Maybe CornPop was a good guy trying to deal with a rich pervert getting a little too close to the neighborhood kids.

Good news is, Japanese For Busy People I is available online.

I laugh at western politicians who imagine they came up through the same cut throat hell holes the third worlders did. Nancy Pelosi and her hundred dollar per quart ice cream would have been sliced and diced. Makes me wonder, though. Why do we put up with this sh**.

Comparing Biden’s call for Russian regime change against Reagan’s ‘Tear down this wall’ speech is fair.

–Reagan’s speech was planned carefully, followed the policy that the President set, objected to by various elements of his administration and overruled, delivered with force, and backed up even when the press whined and howled.

–Biden’s speech was popped off in the middle of a bunch of disconnected comments, had nothing to do with the policy his administration was supposedly following, was *immediately* praised by the press as the greatest thing since sliced bread, quickly retracted by the administration, and left the sycophantic press gasping for air after they had just declared the words to be golden, only to have the rug yanked out from under them.

The fact is that the Constitution is being subverted. The “unitary Executive” is not running the country. In fact, he doesn’t even know he’s supposed to be running the country. Where is the Senate? Wasn’t sleepy Joe supposed to take some sort of mental fitness test months ago? Didn’t he agree to it? He is not fit to be president and everyone knows it, but is not saying it out loud. It’s a disservice to the country.

I know that Kamala would succeed him. Still, I am in favor of impeachment, etc. I figure that no one will actually listen to her and she’ll get rid of the current officers.

This only took 5 minutes maybe. It’s important to know the character of who purports to be in charge of our national defense.

He pretends to be an athlete. And he was. In high school.

https://www.sportscasting.com/joe-biden-was-once-a-solid-football-player-and-led-his-team-to-an-improbable-undefeated-season/

“…Joe Biden’s college football career at the University of Delaware gets a little controversial. On a campaign stop at Ohio University in 2012, he claimed that the last time that he was in Athens was for a Delaware vs. Ohio football game in 1963 (he would’ve been a junior then), which Delaware won by a score of 29-12.

The score is correct but shortly after Biden’s stop in Athens, the Huffington Post was told by the university’s sports information department that Biden never played varsity football. He did, however, play freshman football for the Fightin’ Blue Hens, which adds up given the fact that up until 1972, the NCAA didn’t allow freshmen to play varsity sports.

Perhaps Biden was at that game in 1963 AS A FAN OR TRAVELING WITH THE TEAM…”

I was a pretty good high school athlete. As a matter of fact, I kept playing Rugby into my 40s.

“As much as I lacked confidence in my ability to communicate verbally, I always had confidence in my athletic ability,” Biden wrote in his memoir, “Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics.”

He can’t communicate verbally or in writing, and as an athlete he peaked in high school.

I so want to beat this guy into a pulp with my cane. I’m looking forward to the visit from the Secret Service as those guys tend to agree with me. Generally we have a beer and talk about what a piece of s*** we work for.

I went through like 5 single scope background investigations updates. I never was investigated for making specific threats against a president. Because frankly if you’re stupid enough to vote for the a-hole, I’m going to find a way to make money out of it.

Case in point. I’ve got a contract to provide skilled labor to a solar farm in West Texas.

Stupidest thing I ever heard of. Without government subsidies it wouldn’t happen. But if the voting public wants it, I’m going to make bank on it.

Antifundamentalist | March 29, 2022 at 4:41 pm

Basically, Biden’s Staffers just admitted that Biden isn’t actually in charge, someone else is.
