Andrew Cuomo Claims He’s Been ‘Vindicated’ and Won’t Rule Out Another Run for Office

Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is apparently plotting a political comeback. Five months after leaving office in disgrace, Cuomo claims that he only resigned because he didn’t want to be a “distraction” and is therefore not tainted by scandal.

It’s amazing that he sees things this way and is willing to say so out loud.

There are people in American politics who seem addicted to running for and holding public office. Cuomo is joining the ranks of people like Beto O’Rourke and Charlie Crist.

Laura Nahmias reports at Bloomberg News:

Andrew Cuomo Says He’s Been ‘Vindicated,’ Won’t Rule Out Run

Five months after he resigned over a swirl of sexual harassment allegations, New York’s former Governor Andrew Cuomo isn’t ruling out another run for public office. He insists it’s too soon to talk about it.

Instead, he’s consumed by what he alleges are serious mistakes by New York State Attorney General Letitia James and the independent lawyers who investigated the sexual harassment claims against him.

Her office determined the accounts of 11 different women were credible and that Cuomo “violated multiple federal and state harassment laws,” according to the Aug. 3 report. The findings were so damaging and explosive that Cuomo resigned weeks after the report’s release.

But if he had to do it all over, he wouldn’t have resigned, the former governor, 64, told Bloomberg News in a Friday telephone interview, one of a handful since leaving office. “I never resigned because I said I did something wrong. I said, I’m resigning because I don’t want to be a distraction,” Cuomo said…

Since July, he’s spent more than $2 million from what’s now a $16.4 million campaign war chest on legal fees, public relations and other payments to staff. He’s still sending out press releases about political events and recently dined with New York City Mayor Eric Adams at Manhattan restaurant Osteria La Baia.

Cuomo is clearly pining for the days when he was being held up as the anti-Trump answer to COVID-19 and getting praised from every corner of the liberal media.

Before he invests in a Cuomo 2024 website, he might want to read the room. Even the far-left folks at Rolling Stone magazine are practically begging him to just go away. Jack Crosbie writes:

A Very Delusional Andrew Cuomo Is Trying to Convince People He’s Been Exonerated of Sexual Misconduct

Just a few short months after he resigned following multiple accusations of sexual misconduct, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo told Bloomberg that he wouldn’t rule out running for office once again. That’s a mild statement in and of itself, but diving into the full interview, it’s pretty clear that Cuomo doesn’t think his career is done…

Cuomo believes he’s been vindicated – or at least that’s the line he’s going with. “If you do an honest summary [of the scandal], which is what I get from people on the street, I have been vindicated.”

Cuomo is clearly referring to the decision by New York state prosecutors to not pursue criminal charges for any of his sex crime allegations. But not pursuing charges is very different from an exoneration, and prosecutors noted that they found Cuomo’s accusers to be “credible.”

It’s worth noting that Cuomo’s sexual harrassment case overshadowed several other alleged crimes he committed in office, like the massive coverup of nursing home deaths during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Jeff Zucker’s departure from CNN presents another new challenge for Cuomo. Zucker’s girlfriend was a high-level aide to Cuomo and the two of them allegedly fed talking points to him through his brother, Chris.

Can you even imagine how his fellow Democrats would go after him in a primary debate?

And this is why you never leave a zombie behind with a head on it.

There’s a zombie in the white house with it’s head still half attached attempting to read from the teleprompter while intermittently yelling at reporters who attempt to ask questions.

Andrew Coumo is a mass murderer. No amout of lying press media or filthy Marxist bullshit will change that fact.

He was completely useless during his Marxist reign, and also someone who sexually assaulted his subordinate employees.

I am not sure why we are talking about this anymore.

Okay, let’s find out. File those charges! Let’s see what a jury says!

Huge difference between v ind8icated and paid off the power people.

Oh, please do. Virtue-signaling, narrative-upholding Democrats are too afraid of looking non-virtuous and nonconformist to turn on a demonization narrative their own party has engaged in.

The worst part is that he honestly believes what he’s saying.

The good news in this is the decision not to prosecute will taint New York politicians.

What a pathetic hack this bitch is. Has he not been paying attention? His water carrying minions at CNN are gone. He really should shut his fucking mouth and crawl under a rock and hope that true legal repercussions for his borderline-murderous policies don’t appear. In the meantime he should suck another barrel of cocks.

Narcissists are like that. Take credit for the good, Attack someone over the bad. Admit no wrong. Do not accept the judgement or even the facts put forth by inferiors (and everyone is an inferior!).

If he runs again, he may win. I hope not but cannot have faith in the people who voted him in, in the first place.

If he runs again he will win. And it has nothing to do with corrupted voting machines. It has to do with the votes downstate and in Albany.

There are pure narcissists, but it’s important to remember that psychopaths are very narcissistic. Why do I think Andrew Cuomo is a psychopath and not a sociopath or narcissist? Because psychopaths can mimic human emotions in order to manipulate other people but they don’t actually experience guilt, empathy, or conscience. Sociopaths on the other hand do experience those emotions, but the emotions are too weak to stop them from impulsively harming other people. That’s one of the key differences; sociopaths are impulsive, whereas psychopaths are cold and calculating. Both sociopaths and psychopaths value relationships that benefit them. Both will also screw over people in those relationships, though, if it benefits them more. But sociopaths are capable of having emotional attachments to those very close to them while psychopaths aren’t.

Both sociopaths and psychopaths are the most important people in the world, hence the narcissism. But psychopaths take it a step further; they’re the only person in the world.

It would be near impossible for a sociopath to rise to the office of governor of a state as they are too impulsive to avoid exposing themselves. I suppose it would appropriate to mention I believe Anthony Weiner is likely a sociopath. He ruined his career when he exposed himself by literally exposing himself. He couldn’t help himself; he can’t control his impulses. Sociopaths have trouble holding on to a job. Note Weiner killed his political career.

Psychopaths on the other hand are often very successful because of their skill at mimicking the emotions that they’re aware other people experience. So they can appear charming, warm, empathetic and sincere. Things all politicians know it’s important to be able to fake. Unlike sociopaths they aren’t impulsive. They’re highly organized. Again, a trait that contributes to their success.

Psychopaths don’t always commit crimes; psychopath doesn’t mean insane but describes their personality traits. But when they do commit crimes those crimes are highly organized; well planned to ensure success and that they don’t expose themselves for who they are. Cuomo’s mass killing of the elderly was just such a crime. He knew that he was signing the death warrants of thousands of elderly people. The people who run those long term care facilities told him exactly what would happen.

Cuomo doesn’t care; he’s incapable of the emotions to care. The Greater New York Hospital Association is one of his larger donors. That is a relationship a psychopath would value. And the GNYHA wanted those elderly patients from nursing homes sent back so they could free up those beds. Cuomo wanted to keep his donors happy, so back to the nursing homes they went. The owners and operators told Cuomo that the disease would run wild in their facilities since they couldn’t quarantine those patients. But since those people don’t benefit him as they aren’t significant donors he told them to pound sand. He could have sent them to the field hospital the Army set up at the Javits Convention Center in Manhattan or the USNS Comfort in New York harbor, but that touches on another thing that was important to the psychopath in the governor’s mansion. Oppose Trump on everything. Being the anti-Trump was the key to the WH was the message he got from his fans. So he’d rather tens of thousands of people die from Covid than give Trump a win.

Which touches on why the cold, calculating psychopath calculated he’d get away with it; he could blame it on Trump. The media was already insanely blaming every single Covid death on Trump. So when it came out that over 10k people died in New York nursing homes, Cuomo said he was following Trump’s CDC guidance. The press didn’t care the CDC guidance said long term care facilities could admit even symptomatic covid positive patients but only if they had the facilities and personnel to quarantine them. Which the long term care facility operators already told Cuomo was not something they had the capacity to do. But Cuomo understood which way the wind was blowing. Some people hate Trump so much it’s their entire reason for living if it hasn’t become their entire identity. So he knew he could not only get away with murder but benefit from it politically.

This is something that I doubt a mere narcissist would do. It’s something I doubt a sociopath could ever achieve the kind of success to be in a position to do. It takes a psychopath to do this.

I remember decades ago that Marion Barry didn’t seem to have a problem with his comeback as mayor of DC after the sting operation and arrest by the FBI.

Never underestimate the stupidity of voters.

DC is a certified plantation. The Democrat always wins, and the Democrat is always black. The winner is actually chosen in the primary, and DC has closed primaries. And the political groupies who lived or died on their attendance at the Right Soirees all knew that Barry had way better drugs than any of the others.

When you look at the national Democrats non-existent bench, I can see many tards voting for him in the primary.

Vindicated? No, you simply benefitted from the fact that they never go for the kill shot on their fellow communists.

Planned parent/hood or the Pro-Choice religion to keep women appointed, available, and taxable?

Having you political buddies refuse to charge you criminally is not vindication

Who vindicated Cuomo- CNN?

vindicate–definition:

verb (used with object), vin·di·cat·ed, vin·di·cat·ing.
to clear, as from an accusation, imputation, suspicion, or the like: to vindicate someone’s honor.

in what world do the accusations of eleven different women(deemed “credible” by the authorities investigating same) just disappear?–by what operation of intellect or reason are those events, validated by several victims, deemed never to have occurred?–simple really–outright denial, with aid and support from the bought media–lying would be another word that comes to mind

psychopath indeed
