‘Women’s March’ Provides Unexpected Thanksgiving Hilarity With ‘$14.92 Average Donation’ Apology Tweet

“It was an oversight on our part to not make the connection to a year of colonization, conquest, and genocide for Indigenous people, especially before Thanksgiving.”

Most conservatives generally have nothing good to say about the so-called feminists who run the “Women’s March” group, and for good reason.

For starters, the group has had to grapple with the disturbing anti-Semitic tendencies of those in senior leadership positions. Secondly, the group is rabidly pro-abortion with the backers to prove it, not even holding a “moderate” middle-ground position on the issue. Thirdly, they promote the wearing of pink hats that are supposed to remind people of women’s “lady parts” which, last I checked, no one needed to be reminded of – especially from the likes of these ladies.

But this week, the gals at “Women’s March” gave conservatives something to smile about for a change, and just in time for Thanksgiving holiday festivities, as expensive as they may be thanks to the rising cost of just about everything courtesy of Bidenomics.

On Tuesday, the group took to the Twitter machine to issue a rather hilarious apology. Well, it was funny to conservatives but not to those on the radical left who were fauxtraged at the reason behind the apology. As it turns out, in a recent fundraising email “Women’s March” sent to supporters, they noted that $14.92 was their average donation amount for the week.

Of course, “1492” is triggering to “woke” activists on the left because it reminds them of famed explorer Christopher Columbus, who some 530 years after he discovered the Americas is in the process of being canceled as we speak in Democrat-run cities across the country because of priorities and stuff.

Apparently, the stir created by the email was widespread enough that the “Women’s March” group felt the need to profusely apologize to their loyal followers for their grievous “oversight.”

“We apologize deeply for the email that was sent today,” they wrote. “$14.92 was our average donation amount this week. It was an oversight on our part to not make the connection to a year of colonization, conquest, and genocide for Indigenous people, especially before Thanksgiving.”

I’ve saved a copy of the tweet here just in case they delete it.

As you might expect, the tweet has been seriously ratioed, and the responses to it are comedy gold.

Even the writers at the Babylon Bee were a little jealous:

We are saddened to report that as of this writing, pseudo-Native American Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) has yet to issue a strongly worded statement condemning the tweet. We’ll keep you posted in the event she does.

Perhaps the best advice of all came from the below tweet, which will be perfect to show those annoying liberal relatives who try impressing you with their “woke” cards right before you start diving into that delicious post-meal whip cream-topped warm pumpkin pie slice:

As a final thought, the especially good thing about the “Women’s March” apology tweet is that unlike the statues of Christopher Columbus and the existence of the Columbus Day holiday, their words can’t be canceled nor memory-holed, no matter how desperately they might want them to be.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I’m so non-woke I had read the original tweet 4 times to figure out what was the problem.

I never did understand the brouhaha until Stacey explained it above.

I understood their complaint, but am confused as to how 1492 relates to Thanksgiving. Now, if it was before Columbus Day, or if the average was $16.21, that would be proof that math is racist.

Colonization. The unrelenting evil that brought the world democracy, human rights, vaccines and cell phones. Please God, make it stop.

It’s also how literally everyone in the world got to where they are — or where they’re from. There is nowhere in the world where the “indigenous” people just sprang from the ground; they all arrived either as colonists or as conquerors, mostly the latter.

Government. The unrelenting evil that has killed over 100 million people in the last 100 year.

“You’re wearing your Pussy Hats way too tight.”

It’s the hat that not only breathes, but keeps pushing.

What’s funny is that Marjorie Taylor-Greene hit me up for a donation of the deliberate amount of $14.92 just last week, and I was so tickled, I sent one.

There’s only the one picture. I bet they’re all ugly…

The newly revised number is $6.66.

Feminist (i.e. gender ideologues) or feminine (i.e. female gender)? The pink hats resemble an [unPlanned] baby’s bottom.

Anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic. A trifecta of hate.

Break out the box wine, ladies!

I thought that persons don’t need a vagina to be a woman…😏

It’s not even close to the same number. It’s 14 plus a fraction of 92/100. And the units are in dollars, not years. These people are twisted.

At some point even the weirdos are going to have to realize that they do not have to apologize for the facts being what they are. You simply cannot please everyone and you should not try to do so.

Woke is indeed, “Broke” !!
