White House Tells Businesses to ‘Move Forward’ With COVID Vaccine Mandate After OSHA Suspends It

OSHA suspended the mandate pending litigation.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told the media the Biden administration wants businesses to “move” forward with the COVID vaccine mandate. The OSHA suspended the mandate pending litigation.

From Grabien:

REPORTER: “Given this update, is the administration still urging businesses to move forward with the President’s vaccine and weekly testing rule? And are you still working off of that January 4 compliance deadline?”

PSAKI: “We are. Let me be very clear, our message to businesses right now is to move forward with measures that will make their workplaces safer and protect them, their workforces from Covid-19. That was our message after the first day issued by the Fifth Circuit. That remains our message and nothing has changed. I would note that recent polling, I think that just came out yesterday, showed that 60 percent of businesses are moving forward with measures that keep their workplace safe.”

The OSHA quietly suspended the mandate, which requires businesses with 100 employees to require the COVID vaccine.

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a stay on the mandate. It doesn’t take a constitutional scholar to know that Biden’s order to force a vaccine mandate on companies is unconstitutional.

Ignore this legal thing and do what my voice tells you to do….sounds very normal…..in dictator country.

Dotard/marionette, Xi-den, acting like the tin pot caudillo-puppet that he is; the vile Dhimmi-crats acting like the obnoxious, totalitarian apparatchiks that they are.

“Federal Courts? We ain’t got no federal courts. We don’t need no federal courts. I don’t have to show you any stinkin’ federal courts!”

“Follow-up question, Ms. Psaki: given that the 5th Circuit has enjoined the order and that OHSA has suspended its effort to enforce the mandate, what will the White House do to any business that refuses to comply with the President’s rule?”

Gaaaah. If I can think of the best and most appropriate follow-up question, why can’t the reporter?

AIUI the 5th Circuit order was a TRO until a final decision. Again AIUI the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals will have the final say, and no matter the outcome there it will end up at SCOTUS where not even God knows how they will rule. It ain’t over til its over.

Not only is it illegal but these knee-taking evil leftist corporations are the only ones to be held accountable when this inevitably goes south.

If I was advising businesses, I think I would tell them that if they follow the White House while an injunction is in place, and OSHA has suspended enforcement, they had better put their insurance carriers on notice because I have to believe the civil suits will pile up.

I am retired but active GE folks tell me that the religious exemption request is a form six pages long and you have to provide your medical history. You also have to agree to not use some portions of the medical insurance. I don’t think GE HR should have any rights to an individual’s medical history.

Flouting the rule of law? Pshaw! That’s nothing — Trump posted MEAN TWEETS!!!1!!

“We have no king but Jesus!” declared the colonists.
“You ain’t the boss of me!” declared the modern Americans.

This what they always wanted: a coercive vax mandate that will stay in place regardless of whether the Federal mandate gets struck down.

IMPEACH.

I guess the mandate issued by the executive branch is still in effect?

EASY ANSWER –

BOYCOTT ANY BUSINESS THAT FOLLOWS THIS UNCONSTITUTIONAL DIRECTIVE

Any company that fires an employee because they will not get Vaxxed should be BOYCOTTED. The ceo and the board members should be removed.

Health records are private. People cannot be fired for refusing to put drugs into their body. If they are – they should sue for $ millions.

THIS IS AMERICA.

Is there some idiosyncrasy of the WuFlu that causes it not to infect people who are employed by entities that employ 99 persons or fewer.? I can’t find anything explaining why the 99-100 split. Can someone help?

I also saw something a short time back that even truck drivers, who spend a large part of their work shift alone in their truck, are required to be vaccinated (or tested). Makes little, if any, sense.

I can’t wait for 2022 (and 1/1/23).

Has there been a single state that has adopted statutory language (rather than an Executive Order) that prohibits employers from mandating vaccines? Does anyone know.

It sure seems that while Republicans in some states have had a lot to say about these vaccine mandates, I’m not sure if any of them have done the necessary legislative work to protect people from these kind of de facto mandates that Biden is now pushing.
