Germany’s Next Government Vows “Climate Revolution,” Creates “Super” Ministry

Germany’s Next Government Vows “Climate Revolution,” Creates “Super” Ministry

The AfD party chief: German “economy and prosperity will become completely subordinate” to “the green climate ideology.”

As Chancellor Angela Merkel’s era comes to an end, Germany’s next coalition government has vowed to usher in a “climate revolution” ahead of its inauguration. “Germany’s new coalition promises climate revolution,” country’s state-run DW News reported on Friday.

The incoming coalition, made up of Social Democrats, Greens and center-right Free Democrats, has agreed to set up a “super ministry” to push a climate agenda. “A new ‘super’ Climate and Economy Ministry, to be headed by Habeck, is to provide the bureaucratic muscle to implement the ambitious measures,” the German broadcaster added.

By putting the economy under the purview of the ‘super climate ministry,’ Berlin is sending the signal that globalist climate agenda comes before jobs or the nation’s economic wellbeing.

The right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party slammed the alliance for pushing a radical climate ideology. The German “economy and prosperity will become completely subordinate” to “the green climate ideology,” the head of the opposition party, Tino Chrupalla, warned.

The DW News reported the post-Merkel government’s ambitious climate plans:

As Germany’s new coalition government — comprising center-left Social Democrats (SPD), environmentalist Greens and the business-focused Free Democrat Party (FDP) — readies to take power, it has made bold climate policy the cornerstone of the alliance.

An agreement thrashed out by the three parties was released this week and includes climate measures designed to keep Germany “on the path to 1.5 degrees” Celsius (2.7 Fahrenheit), promised Robert Habeck, the Green Party co-chair and Germany’s likely next vice chancellor.

The measures include phasing out coal power by 2030, eight years ahead of the current schedule, powering 80% of the electricity grid with renewables within a decade and putting 15 million electric vehicles on German roads by 2030. The deal also proposes phasing out gas for power by 2040 and setting a minimum carbon price of €60 per ton ($68).

A new “super” Climate and Economy Ministry, to be headed by Habeck, is to provide the bureaucratic muscle to implement the ambitious measures.

The alliance, set to end Chancellor Angela Merkel’s 16-year reign, will be a “progressive” one, the coalition parties declared in a 177-page agreement.

Germany’s next government, likely to be headed by Merkel’s socialist Deputy Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, has promised even more liberal immigration policies. The new government is “betting on [refugees] welcome culture,” Germany’s state-run ZDF reported. “It would now be easier for refugees to comes to Germany,” the broadcaster cheered.

As Germany’s next government doubles down on its “welcome culture” for immigrants, neighboring Poland is battling a violent migrant surge on its borders with Belarus. Polish border police are pushing back against migrant gangs armed with wire cutters and shovels. Thousands of migrants, mostly young men from Syria, Afghanistan and other Muslim countries, see Poland as a transit country as they dream of getting to Germany, Britain and other attractive western European welfare states.

The post-Merkel government also plans to appoint a federal “anti-racism commissioner” reporting directly to the Chancellor. It wants to “combat racism and promote diversity,” the news website Euractive reported.

The course adopted by the incoming government will turn Germany into a “socialist nanny state” and a “magnate for migrants,” the AfD party cautioned.

The Germans spent half a trillion euro on wind and solar and their emissions went up. They had to use back up coal generators (because you cannot turn a nuke plant on and off) and found that the power plants are like cars. They give off the most pollution when you start them and turn them off. The sun does not shine in Germany and the wind blows too little or too much.

Notice how the early manipulated fall for anything. Never question the water just drink.

So, they want to destroy Germany, German history, and German culture. Remind me again. Why did the German elect these guys?

    “Destroy German history?”
    How can you say that?
    A “super ministry!”
    Staffed by “Übermensch!”
A time-tested cultural approach, with no downside whatsoever!

Who says they actually ‘elected’ these people?

No one has mentioned if voting machines were employed. If they were…

climate revolution is politically congruent (“=”) to [catastrophic] [anthropogenic] [sociopolitical] climate change

Oh my. How will the poor countries in the EU survive when Germany‘s economy slows down?

With Brussels and DC shutting down production of Natural Gas, fertilizer plants around the world are shutting down. Plants in China, Russia, Britain, Holland and Egypt have all shut down. Since 1/2 of 3rd World Agriculture depends upon imported fertilizer it means we are 2 harvests away from FAMINE. 100 million more poor children will starve.

The Green (as in blight, redistributive change, and lowered expectations) climate ideology.

That said, natural, and, in the minority, anthropogenic, carbon dioxide emissions for a green planet. Recycle.

The first thing to do is put their money where their mouth is and start shipping through the new arctic route across Russia’s northern sea. Thanks to the warmer weather triggered by global warming ships are now able to take a short cut and save a ton of money.

The northeast passage should freeze totally shut around 2030. It started to freeze up a bit early this year. As the AMO rolls over there is less and less enthalpy that is being transported into the Arctic. The Arctic ice extent has increased every year for the past 5 years. See: http://ocean.dmi.dk/arctic/plots/icecover/icecover_current_new.png The peak of the AMO cycle was around 2012 or perhaps a year or two later. Sea ice cover is now getting to be within 2 sigma of the 1980-2010 mean and being close to being within 1-sigma of the mean. If you go back into the last AMO peak you will find that the northeast passage was open and large parts of the Arctic Sea were “ice free” according to news reports.

The Germans were nuts in the 1930s, it looks like they will repeat that in the 2020s. What is with these people anyway?

      They’re great at following orders.
      Americans… not so much.

Goosestepping to yet another demagogic ideology. These climate porn peddlers are no better than the old dark ages alchemists.

I don’t know. They’ve convinced most of the under 35s that Climate Change is going to destroy us in 12 years (despite so many of the alarmists buying oceanfront property- Gore, 0bama, Pelosi…….

Enough Americans are getting there. America seems to be breaking down into the following classes: the corrupt elites who are robbing the nation blind, the criminal class who are robbing every day Americans blind, the ignoramus middle class (liberals), the working class (they’re salvagable because they know what work is) and the patriotic middle class.

The first thing to do is put their money where their mouth is and start shipping through the new arctic route across Russia’s northern sea.

Perhaps they haven’t noticed that about six Russian ships are now locked in the ice there already, and may not get out for months.

Don’t kid yourself…… the same idiotic kind of stuff is going on here in the US. The western economies are punishing themselves while China and India are positioning themselves for world economic dominance. By the time the sheeple figure out climate change in nothing more than a con-job by politicians and unscrupulous scientists it will be too late.

As it turns out the wokist turn in Germany is not restricted to Merkel.

Thank God for France

Kiss Germany goodbye, Probably soon joining the Caliphate anyway.

Germany shut down their nuclear power to satisfy the Greens. That decision made them one of the most polluting states per capita in Europe, with almost twice the CO2 per capita as France. Watch for them to do more stupid things as the Greens take over.

Blood will soon be covering the Earth like Sherwin-Williams paint.

It seems to be part of the human experience. There will always be freaks trying to take things from other people.

On the most primitive note think of the marauding Black Friday mobs: not think of them as leaders of a nation-state.

The old saying that death and taxes are inevitable should also incude ‘war’. That’s why you keep armies – its no different than insurance.

It won’t be long before the final conquest of Europe for Islam begins, and they will not resist bloodshed. John Sobieski is rolling in his grave.

The germans *think* they are the smartest people on earth. The reality, they are on par with a brick. There are exceptions, and they re making plans to leave the country before the lights go out and the icicles form.

Good luck. Personally I give it 3-5 years of actually living with the results of these policies at the outside before it ends, one way or another.

Nazism, redirected.

You know the 3-legged stool analogy? Well, looks like the Germans have decided to simply cut off all 3 legs of their future existence by choosing to go w/ Climate change, so-called “anti-racist woke nonsense agenda, & increased immigration! It’s a formula for national suicide.

Germany has committed cultural suicide by bringing in so many moslems.
Now I’m hey are committing economic suicide by shutting down nuclear and coal power plants and mandating no gasoline in cars.
How do they plan to charge all those electric cards?
Solar and wind won’t be sufficient.
Better hope the Russians never turn off the new gas pipeline

Climate uber alles???
