Asian-American Students Attacked on Philadelphia Train

Asian-American Students Attacked on Philadelphia Train

Black students attacking Asian-American students on Philly trains is apparently nothing new.

A group of young black girls got caught attacking Asian-American girls on a SEPTA train in Philadelphia on Wednesday. It occurred around 3:30 PM ET on the Broad Street Line.

The girls punch and scream at the Asian-Americans. You can see the ones sitting on the seats and cowering in fear.

One girl slammed an Asian girl’s head against the train door. She falls and three girls attack her. The one in pink beats her with a shoe.

Police haven’t said if the attack is racially motivated. They identified four of the tens in the video.

The Twitter account Libs of Tik Tok revealed a similar incident that happened on Tuesday. The group of girls poured smoothies over Asian-American students and shouted racial slurs at them.

Wow! Can’t believe I guessed the ethnicity of the perps before clicking on the link or seeing the video!

That’s because, in the eyes of some, you’re a dirty rotten stinking no good racist! However, in my view, you’re just a realist.

texansamurai in reply to Dagwood. | November 18, 2021 at 11:16 am

really wish could give you more than one upvote–recently read some rather startling(not really) statistics that more than 70% of the violent crimes committed in this country are perpetrated by an ethnic group that comprises only 13% of our population–begs the question, why in the hell do the rest of us tolerate it?

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to texansamurai. | November 18, 2021 at 11:18 am

We don’t tolerate it. We put up with it, because it’s the law. If we still had freedom of contract, we wouldn’t have to put up with these people. We could keep them out of our stores, out of our rental properties. But that is not possible.

My grandfather told me this used to be a “free country” up until FDR came into office. That’s when the downhill slide began.

It actually started with Wilson, but US Roosevelt was the one that pushed so much. The decline became ever steeper during Lyndon Johnson’s administration.

In fairness, if someone only got their news from the Joseph Goebbels media, they would believe that all racially motivated attacks were committed by white cops (or Donald Trump, or Kyle Rittenhouse, or whomever the media has designated as the Most Evil Person in History (TM).

Trump was right. The biggest danger to the nation and the American people is the media. Time to start rethinking the First Amendment. If we can have regulations and restrictions on the Second Amendment, we can likewise have them on the First.

Major Kong in reply to JOBBOSS. | November 19, 2021 at 12:57 pm

I agree with you partially on you comment but disagree with you on rethinking the 1st Amendment. Why would you want to start tweaking on the 1st Amendment? Yes the politicians have been trying to tweak the 2nd Amendment but the 2nd Amendment still stands as it is as the 1st or any other amendment should still stand as they are. If they start tweaking on one then why not all of them to take what freedom we have been given thru our constitution and bill of rights. Would you then want our so called leaders today to start tweaking on our constitution?

The constitution describes each of the roles and responsibilities of the arms of the government and citizens while the Bill of rights describes the rights and freedom of the people. The constitution limits the power of the government while the Bill of Rights grants authority to the people.

If BLM ally Red China took over the US, American blacks would find themselves in concentration camps.

They tend to assault and murder each other. 50% of all murders are committed by the same subgroup but 95% of the victims are their own so no one cares. It’s a shame but it is what it is.

    “Unseen Bias” alert!

JOBBOSS in reply to Dagwood. | November 18, 2021 at 2:22 pm

But the Asian-American associations will blame “white supremacy” for this.

MLK said “judge someone by their character and not the color of their skin.” Unfortunately, when you follow MLK edicts, these poor unfortunate reprobates call you racist.

sringland in reply to Dagwood. | November 19, 2021 at 4:44 pm

Black and muslim. What a combination!

“Police haven’t said if the attack is racially motivated.”

In all fairness, these are the same folks who are routinely mystified by the motive of mass killers who scream “Allahu Akbar!”

    The 13% check in.

Quite good at running their mouths and throwing punches. Not so good at finding the roots of linear or quadratic functions.

And because of their unwillingness to solve those functions, they’re happy to beat up on those who can solve those functions.

pmpalmiero in reply to fscarn. | November 18, 2021 at 1:07 pm

You win the Internet today. I am white and used to be able to find the roots of linear or quadratic functions back in school, but I completely forget how to do so now in my 50’s .

Can anyone make out the black girls are saying? It is like another language from a distant planet.

THEY don’t even know what they’re saying. If.Michelle Obama had another daughter….

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to pmpalmiero. | November 18, 2021 at 2:46 pm

Oddly enough, I don’t hear Black people on the rest of the world speaking this way. I refer to blacks that I’ve met in England, Spain, and Italy. They either speak the local language the same way as everybody else does, or they speak English, possibly with an accent, but no but that sing song childish way that so many blacks of America have to speak. I guess sounding stupid as being down with the struggle. Trust me: they’re struggling!

Occasional Thinker in reply to The Friendly Grizzly. | November 18, 2021 at 5:40 pm

I managed a workplace that included African-Americans and Africans ( from Sudan, Ivory Coast, South Sudan, Kenya, etc). Those were the worst fights I had to deal with. Africans hate African-Americans and call them stupid, lazy, trash, and on and on. I had one African who liked to explain to American Blacks how slavery actually worked and there was a good chance his great great great great grandfather had sold his great great great great grandfather to get his no good worthless criminal a** out of the village and if not for that the American Black would be living in a mud hut somewhere. I just answered that his history was probably correct.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to The Friendly Grizzly. | November 18, 2021 at 6:07 pm

Occasional thinker: years ago I had a dear friend from Nigeria attending university in Los Angeles. His school was out in Inglewood California. He used to see the chicken walkers, the ones with the giant portable radios, and the ones carrying on like animals at the bus stop. The language that came out of my friends mouth was such that even George Wallace or Orval Fabus would be given second thoughts. In general African blacks do not like African-Americans.

The Friendly Grizzly | November 18, 2021 at 11:16 am

I’ve talk to some old-timers here in the south. Both black, and white. They said the reason the transportation was segregated in the old days was for safety. I believe they are right.

Looked it up one day. Blacks world wide are 3 TIMES more likely to commit a violent offense. But in the US they are 7 TIMES more likely. Obviously blacks are prone to violence. This has nothing to do with education as I know many blacks who were in upper level education and committed murder.

I lived in the South in the 50s. At that time there were two worlds and things moved very easy. Contrary to what people have been taught, separate and equal was exactly that, if not the blacks having better school buildings and supplies (not taught that in Ivy League schools). Blacks did not really desire to change until the NAACP came and stirred them up. As to voting, in Mississippi all were required to read the preamble to the Constitution. That was considered excessive and racist.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to david7134. | November 18, 2021 at 11:41 am

I’ve heard more than one elderly black say that it was better in the old days. At least they knew where they stood. I have also been led to understand there are at least some blacks in South Africa that long for the days of apartheid. They may have been segregated, but at least the water flowed, the electricity stayed on, the sewer system worked, and the infrastructure was in good repair. They also had good jobs if they wanted them and we’re qualified for them.

A lot of these observations seem so hopeless to me.

This is just my personal view, and maybe it’s the product of propaganda… but back in the days up to and including MLK, the face of the civil rights movement always seemed to me to be a bunch of polite, educated fellows who had played by all the rules, adopted white culture, and weren’t given the same consideration as the equivalent white folks.

And we passed a lot of laws to address that, and thought we made a lot of progress. And instead of fixing the problem, we ended up with a lot of truculent, ignorant fellows who play by none of the rules, refuse the melting pot, reject successful white culture, and want to replace it with Somalia. This is not what I thought either group was working toward.

And when I ask myself why, there are two options I have to consider: one, that all the laws and benefits we passed didn’t really address (whether by incompetence or by design) the root causes of “whitey keeping them down;” or that once the “whitey” effect was abated, we found other, non-external factors (like a culture incompatible with success) continuing to keep them down.

And, as always, I think this is a cultural thing, not a racist thing. I personally know significant numbers of blacks who bucked that culture, adopted what (we as white would consider) more positive, and became examples of integrity and success. But statistically, the race and the culture accompany each other like Italians and Catholicism.

Read Charles Murray’s 2021 Facing Reality. The black crime rate is off the charts. But, shhhh, it’s one of those things we’re not supposa talk about.

It took one man with a deep voice yelling to put a stop to the whole thing.

It just took too long to intervene. We have really made ourselves much more uncivilized by emasculating our men and making them fear the law will come for them if they try to restore order on the streets.

Our forefathers would be ashamed.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to Thatch. | November 18, 2021 at 11:36 am

I believe it was Eldridge Cleaver said “if you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem“. I’m beginning to wonder if the police themselves are actually part of the problem. They certainly aren’t the solution, as they stand down, or they arrest people on bullshit charges while not enforcing actual law.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to Thatch. | November 18, 2021 at 11:43 am

Just curious: who is the man with the deep voice? I’m being serious. Thank you.

What did the Asian students do to provoke a “self-defense” response from the minority students?

Well, at least the Joseph Goebbels media will go directly to “The motive may never be known” without the usual “Trump is personally responsible for the attack!”.

“PEACEFUL PROTESTS” – OF COURSE

If you see it any other way – you’re a white supremacist > report to your nearest indoctrination center for reprogramming.

Watch the vile and dishonest Dhimmi-crats find a way to blame President Trump, instead of putting blame where it squarely belongs.

It’s IQ motivated and secondarily race. Average East Asian IQ 105, American Blacks 86. They’re showing an unfavorable difference even more than whites do.

Kepha H in reply to rhhardin. | November 18, 2021 at 9:39 pm

Many US families of recent Far Eastern origin got started by “brain drain” (skills-based) immigrant. That accounts for a lot of the academic focus of the second generation and the above-average IQ.
    .

“But… black folks can’t be racist!” Or, so the Dhimmi-crats tell us.

Looks alike a member of the exempt class again.

As someone born and raised in that craphole city, I can assure you this is just a day that ends in y when it comes to this kind of feral behavior on the subways.

The subways in Philly are rough. I usually take the other trains. A few years ago there were kids on the train to NJ. Mostly full of white adults leaving work. Anyway they were loud and cussing. Most people ignored them but one older black man told them to shut up and they did. Those youths were probably not bad kids and listened to the old black guy. But I would never speak up and risk an assault.

    pmpalmiero in reply to r2468. | November 18, 2021 at 1:10 pm

Why didn’t any of those Asian boys stand up to those girls? And why would you not arm your daughters with pepper spray if she had to ride SEPTA?

thetaqjr in reply to pmpalmiero. | November 18, 2021 at 1:53 pm

Bringing pepper spray to a boxcutter fight?

“I dont know,” in response to a Mississippi Delta query. “We just seems to like to cut folks.”

I dont know either, because in the same area, if one of those Delta children, boy or girl, crosses they mama, she will beat the figurative hell out of them.

No that would escalate to a riot. They have police and transit cops and it’s their job to handle it. It’s also in the best interest of SEPTA to provide a safe ride. Other arrangements can be made.

        henrybowman in reply to r2468. | November 18, 2021 at 10:20 pm

        Well, that video satisfies me.
The police and transit cops are just handling the hell out of it.
Maybe they’re hoping for sweet berths in Kenosha.

“Apparently this is common on this train line and there have been many fights between the students.”

Trying to pretend this a ‘both sides’ issue rather than primarily instigated by one side.

For those of you who don’t know Philadelphia – Central and Girls High Schools are the two elite magnet high schools in Philadelphia (Central was formerly boys only, but went co-ed a while back for the usual reasons – which never apply to a girls-only school). So these are the smart kids….

These aren’t people of color attacking, they are white people dressed in black make-up. Prove me wrong.

The head scarf would indicate she is a member of the religion of peace.

Thoughts:

1) Sure. That’s an inter-school rivalry only; or

2) Those White supremacist sure hate Asians.

They are wearing hijabs. Muslims won’t like this.

“In other news the Philadelphia Zoo reported an escape from one of the exhibits….animals still at large”

Hollymon in reply to SamlAdams. | November 19, 2021 at 12:29 pm

The only thing closer to being ripped to shreds by a pack of wild dogs is…. actually being ripped to shreds by a pack of wild dogs. These are not people; they’re animals.

People of Asian-American (excluding Russians, Indians, etc.) diversity, equity, and inclusion. Stand, sit, kneel, beg for your privilege.

How can racial strife lead to anything other than separate but equal or segregation? If one group is demonized that group will naturally want to get away from the aggressors.

My comment above describes the migration of whites to the suburbs and out of the big Democrat cities. Schools were regional. Bussing didn’t work. This Philly situation changes if the Asians go to predominately Asian schools or ethnic schools. That ends the oppression of the other minorities. The minorities can have their schools with black or Hispanic teachers as role models and we’re in the 1950s again.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to r2468. | November 18, 2021 at 6:12 pm

Back when there were all black schools, and with all black staff, discipline was high in most cases. None of the kids can play the race card, and most of those black teachers and administrators were strict disciplinarian‘s. There were schools, especially in Washington DC, that were black. All black. There academic scores were extremely high. We were very competitive.

    Kepha H in reply to r2468. | November 18, 2021 at 9:45 pm

I remember the early 1960’s. We were already seeing the Far Eastern people and some Hispanics moving out to the suburbs, and very rare black people.

The Friendly Grizzly | November 18, 2021 at 6:05 pm

If there is an accident on one of the lines, and they have to reroute some of the trains, those become deviated SEPTA?

And some black people wonder why some white people are biased against blacks. The fact is the behavior of blacks has increased that bias.

The Friendly Grizzly | November 18, 2021 at 8:58 pm

Much as I don’t like to say this, maybe there was a reason in the old days that some of them got whipped

The polite armed society also holds for the Pashtuns in both Afghanistan and the Northwest Frontier of Pakistan when they are left alone.

Thank goodness black people can’t be racists otherwise this might have been really bad!

/sarcasm

White supremacy knows no bounds.

I was going to say that it has all the earmarks of “white supremacists” attacking Asians, but, uh, never mind. Doesn’t fit the narrative. Nothing to see here, keep moving.

Asians in philly and NYC need chaperones with open carry permits. Of course it was a racist attack. Of course the black girls will claim thet were caed the N word. While Kyle has to go through hell to defend his right to self defense, black people can assault and murder with impunity, all they need claim is someone calleded them a n____r.
